@Deepa. Wonderful post. 👏 . Missed your posts last week and am glad that you are back 🤗 .
@Payal and @allizwell, Ishwari is not the one who sent Golu. In fact Golu tells Dev that Ishwari did not want him to come there and it was maamaji who sneaked him out.
Coming to Friday's episode, it was amazing. Really loved the way the makers have weaved the Natasha track to the quartet Dev, Sonakshi, Jatin and Suhana. They have cleverly created 2 circles of 3 people each mimicking Dev, Natasha and Sonakshi and kept them intersecting with Dev being in Sonakshi's place as the common factor.
In the first circle of Natasha track, Dev is Sonakshi, Sonakshi is Dev and Jatin is Natasha. In the original track Natasha was shown to have some idea regarding Sonakshi's love towards Dev, but he was shown to dismiss it by saying that she is just a friend. At that time Dev was shown to share a comfortable relation with Dev and both of them did discuss about personal likings and things like that with each other. But Dev at that time shared a very different and deeper level of relationship with Sonakshi where he was himself. When he realizes that he loves Sonakshi, he says "main main hota hoon". Sonakshi right now is yet to reach this place where she starts being her true self with Dev first and then realize that she has been lying to herself.
The other circle is with Dev, Sonakshi and Suhana where Dev is once again Sonakshi, Sonakshi is Natasha and Suhana is Dev. Dev fell in love with Sonakshi not just for one side of her, but whole of her. He knew not only her strengths, but weaknesses too. He loves her as a whole. On the other hand Sonakshi loved only one side of Dev. She loved him as her "brave Prince Charming" and when she felt he wasn't that, she got disappointed and left the relationship. Right now Dev knows he still loves Sonakshi, but just like how she was is not ready to confess it for fear of rejection. Suhana is right now being Dev who does share a comfortable relation with Sonakshi(in Natasha's place), but shares a deeper relationship with Dev(in Sonakshi's place) where she is her true self.
Suhana who doesn't like to hug in public doesn't hold herself back with Dev. Just like how Dev was observant of Sonakshi's actions and contributions towards his family, Suhana is very much aware of Dev's reality. She is developing a strong unbreakable bond with Dev accepting him as is and considering the best. She no longer holds him in comparison with Bijoy as the father as she had mentioned when Sonakshi first time introduced her to Dev. She now considers him to be better than Bijoy just like how Dev considered Sonakshi to be better than Ishwari. He might have chosen to stay with Ishwari and broken off with Sonakshi, but he was more with Sona than with Ishwari at that time. Similarly Suhana might stay back with Sonakshi, but mentally and with all her heart she will be Dev only if for some reason Dev Sonakshi breakup again.
Sonakshi when she fell in love, she imagined herself to be like the princesses in the fairy tales like Cinderella, Snow White, Bella etc. Just like them she wanted to be the kind, gentle, sweet and all the virtues that is usually associated with them. In the fairy tales usually the princesses are portrayed as flawless and this is pretty much what Sonakshi imagines herself to be. She doesn't think she has any flaws. Even Jatin whom she claims is her childhood friend is not aware of her real weaknesses and also she doesn't consider him her "best friend". On the other hand Dev considered her his best friend with whom he had no inhibitions and shared everything without filters. Sonakshi did not do the same with Dev. As Sam said in one of the previous posts, Sonakshi failed to put all the cards on the table. Even now she is not putting all the cards on the table.
Jatin might have an idea regarding Dev's inclination towards Sonakshi. But he has no idea regarding Sonakshi's feelings. As long as she hides herself from reality, she is going to end up hurting a lot of people. I know I have said this before, but feel very strongly after Friday's episode that this season is all about Sonakshi and her journey towards self realization.
Really really enjoying this journey and looking forward to how the story unfolds.
P.S: hope I was able to convey my thoughts. There were too many of them and if the post lacks structure, please forgive me. 😊
