Calling someone by name is not insulting them and with change in relationship there will be change in the way you address them .If that was true then where was this so called elders when Soha was saying Mr Dixit to her dad ?Bijoy the elder wanted Soha to Continue doing that .

A person earns respect and Bijoy Bose is just losing it everyday . Just because he is elder in age doesn't mean he keeps talking non sense and shouting at people and yet expect the other person not to open his mouth

Exactly I agree with what you said in the last line ..Apni Izard etc etc ..it applies to Bijoy Bose as well .If he keeps mistreating people then he will get the same back .

Regarding the ones you mentioned a sensible person will not try to poison a child's mind for their own benefit .If Dev did mistakes then so did Sona so if try start telling everything to Soha then they are spoiling the Soha's childhood .Maturity doesn't come with age and Bijoy Bose proves everytime by using Soha as a pawn against his rival Dev forgetting that Sev loves Soha moreover than Bijoy does and has more rights on her

Why shouldn't I compare both the scenarios .First it was an accident and secondly he was there to apologize for his mistake .Any sensible elderly person would not think of insulting someone who realized his mistake and is sorry about it .Any sensible man will not try to break his daughter's marriage because of one mistake which was not intentional.

So I keep asking this and I never get the answer ..what more Bijoy expected from Dev apart from apology.

I have quite a few incidents on top of my head where Bijoy's opinions change based on somebody's actions i.e. Dev's office scene where he returned without confronting Dev seeing his goodness. Anyhow, I have a question though, despite Bijoy's bitterness, what has Dev done for Baba to change his opinion about him except for offering sorry with a box of sweets. That too he did cuz Sona was not returning home, I highly doubt if Sona had returned already, whether he would have bothered to check with Baba at all or not or as usual put it on Sona's to handle 😆

Faking pregnancy thus hurting his daughter
Hiding infertility about his daughter
Forcing his daughter to infertility treatment
Slapping
Asking him to get out
Throwing out of the house


Compare the acts with a fact of Dev's 5 cr. investment to his son's company and a sorry with bengali sweetbox. The weightage of Dev's acts are out in the open to compare.
