I still carry some emergency medical supply even to go to across Canada despite having free medical insurance which covers everything just in case I need medication and the pharmacy isn't available at that time. Here, Sona heads over to a camp full of kids who carry various kind of germs from playing everywhere and touching everything without a single medication? Not to mention a school arranges a summer camp without a single first aid box, access to doctor/nurse or any medical supply? We went on even a half-day trip with at least a person certified in first aid in tow along with a first aid kit that can accommodate at least 70% of the kids.
Now coming to portraying her as stupid. First tell me, why show Dev is being angry at Ishwari and showing his heartbreak over being deceived when he swallowed her part in separating his daughter 6 years ago and not only hiding the fact, but also kept blaming Sonakshi for never looking back? Why did Dev keep on blaming Sonakshi for separating his daughter when she did nothing of that sort and he knew it too? That one episode of Dev finally speaking out to Ishwari was such a smokescreen that I would have thought that I imagined it if youtube didn't have that episode.
When they can make Dev's character go from passion to puppy like a yo-yo, to Sona kya cheez hain?
As a voracious reader, my theory is Doctor, that you can raise a character to show change and redeem it. You don't need to degrade another character to justify a character. Yet, that's what CVs do.
They show an independent, confident, educated woman who represents dignity and strength and turn her into a mindless bimbo so that her utterly useless of a life partner who never stands up for her, disrespects her and not to mention is downright unworthy of her can look like a hero.
Because until women are shown to be brainless, how will they show men to be intelligent? I mean I suppose they can show men to be intelligent and competent as much as they have shown the woman. But that is no fun. That would be too much like actual equality. And we know equality is a four letter word in TV land.

Quick questions to Dev, Ishwari, Sona, CVs and my fellow forum members because show mein jo hota hai voh mujhe samajh nahi aata.
1. Why portray Sona as a strong character initially (both pre and post leap) and then bring her down to the level of a hopeless romantic who forgets and forgives everybody? Doormat banana tha toh beginning se vaisa hi dikhao!
2. Why insult medical science for no reason? WHY! First of all, which person won't keep emergency medicines with them on a trip? My dad is no doctor but he carries a freaking emergency kit with a heap of paracetamol tablets and other emergency medicines and they say Sona is a doctor. Wow! Secondly, which doctor would inject a drug to a child for something as petty as cold-cough and fever? Oral medicines, anyone? Kadha can make fever go in 10 seconds? WHAAA...?
3. Why is Ishwari STILL constipated?
4. Did Sonakshi magically forget about Dev's "tying her to the door" fiasco? Why is she acting so cool around him?
5. Dev forgot that he's an A class loser? Why and how is entering Sona's room as if he owns it?
6. Why is Erica putting her style into Sonakshi? Sonakshi is different. I do not like the hairdo and the glasses she's sporting, makes her look too casual. Anyone agrees?
