I don't understand why they are trying to show or what they are trying to show

First Dev offered ice cream she refused politely but when sona offered cold lime juice she accepted happily

Tomorrow ishwari will try to feed her she will refuse politely but she addressed to Dev she will feed him like her mumma feed her happily

I am not able to understand these contrast in soha willingness with her mother and other

the ice-cream/lime juice contrast makes sense as lime water is healthy and good for boosting energy and keeping one hydrated.

But I completely agree with your other point. When Soha was feeding Dev sandwiches, she herself admitted that she is feeding him the same way Sona feeds her.

Nd she takes her own decisions she is independent but needs Mumma's permission to do any work. Like going with her own father she needs mumma's permission. Before leaving too she needs her approval what type of independency is this.

Writing is highly inconsistent these days. Why they want to frequently compare the upbringing styles of 28yr old Dev vs 6yr old Soha. This is bound to result in confusing behaviour by the kiddo.

Though for ice cream, Soha mentioned she is not well so thats fine. But she was happy to be fed by her mumma..she cud hv easily told Ishwari she only liked to be fed by her mother...thats wud hav made d same impact on Ish n Dev tht Soha also give all importance to her mother just like Dev.

But the reason for her to feed dev at that point of time was because he hadnt washed his hands and it was dirty.
