PART - 3
As per Vicky's plan, Dev took a day off and stayed aloof in his room. But couldn't stay without even seeing sonakshi's face.

At University,
Vicky, Sonakshi and Elena entered their college at the same time, When elena bumped into vicky. He purposely did it so, to get into conversation with Sonakshi too.
Elena: Arre yr, Vicky. Dekhe nahi chal sakte tum?
Vicky(Smirked): Hai Elena, Sorry yr. I was busy looking at the Special decorations, while walking. Aur wow u look Beautiful today.
Both knows he's making up! Vicky was observing Sonakshi, whether she is looking for Dev and Just as his guess, she searched for Dev as soon as she saw Vicky. She became straight, when she heared Vicky say Special. This is the second time in the morning, that she's coming across the word Special.
Sonakshi: Special? Vicky What special?
Vicky: uh ho! Sonakshi, didn't Elena tell you? U could've guessed from how she came Pretty today, than other days (He gave a lopsided smile to Elena)
Elena got angry, but then decided to play along: Vicky! Hope u didn't loose few nuts in ur brain. Huh! I mean, I've always been Beautiful and Pretty. But You using these words on me, makes me feel kinda high and fly in the sky. The truth going unnoticed by person like u - A Bookworm - is nothing new for nerds (She bragged flirtious)
Vicky: Well, I don't call myself a Bookworm which I am, unlike few who calls themselves a Stylish Queen! (He browed at Elena)
Elena(Stomping): Vicky! I Hate you.
Vicky(Winking): The feeling's mutual missy!
Elena(Pointing at him): YOU!!
Vicky(Equally glaring): YOU!!
Sonakshi was looking at their Silly fight for no damn reason and said in a lil pitch: STOP IT guys!! What are u both doing? Fighting like cats and dogs over its food.
Vicky and Elena(At once): We are not fighting like cats and dogs (both looked at eachother and continued) its u BOTH!! (they indicated Devakshi's fight)
Sonakshi looked around her and said: Both? who?
Elena and Vicky(together with a mock smile): We said about you and Dev!
Sonakshi recollected their silly fights, reminiscing their special moments spent together from the time they met during their 9th grade and how both enjoyed eachother's company,after becoming close friends. Her mind fluctuated behind various thoughts. She was highly disturbed by Dev.
Elena and Vicky were observing her. Elena purposely wanted to take Dev's name and after looking at Sonakshi's confusion, she decided to get into the depth. Vicky after observing Sonakshi's disturbance, decided to share about Devakshi with Elena. So that she too could help him in bringing them together. But didn't know how to approach as they are usually at loggerheads.
Elena: Where are you lost and where is Dev?
Sonakshi came out of her thoughts when she heard Elena taking Dev's name. She expected Vicky to say something abt Dev's whereabouts but to her disappointment, he stayed quite and started leaving to avoid any questions related to Dev.
Vicky(Leaving in wrong direction): Uhh.. It's already time. We r getting late for the class. Com'on!
Elena: Vicky Stop! Come, Our class's this way. A Bookworm forgetting a way is something new for me. (She mocked him)
Vicky: Yea! I even remember that you're our class's Stylish Queen! (He mocked back)
Elena: Youu!
Sonakshi(tired of their fights): Guys, just pls stop ur fights. Lets go.
As they were walking through the corridors, Sona saw the arrangement of banners and couples standing here and there. Some with rose, Some proposing and Some having fun.
Sonakshi: What's the function today?Anything special?
Vicky: What? U dont know??
Elena and Vicky(together directed her to have a look at the wall): Sonakshi look this way...that banner over the wall.
Sonakshi turned to look and was amused to know that it's VALENTINE'S DAY. Suddenly Dev's laughing face flashed infront of her and she smiled to herself. She was confused at herself, 'Why am I thinking abt Dev?'.
She turned to ask Vicky abt him, but he was gone already and saw Elena dreamily smiling to herself and asked the same.Elena took this as a chance to rekindle her and know what's... no no Who's occupying her mind these days.
Elena: Gosh! I wish, somebody like Dev makes me feel special today and tell me how much I mean to him. Awww Kya Handsome hunk hai yaar!
Sonakshi was burning inside, when Elena called him Handsome Hunk and got irritated to see Elena drooling over Dev.
Sonakshi: Stop drooling over your so-called handsome hunk. Now come outta ur dreamland. Aesa kuch nahi hoga! (She said in one go outta jealousy and she couldnt bare Elena's words)
Elena: Sona, u wouldn't understand the girls like me. See u r already a Lucky girl in this case.
Sona was looking at her with brows up with arms folded.
Elena(continued): Dev gave you a RED rose on Rose day and ditched all other girls, while all waited for him to give a special rose. Every girl in our clg dream only abt our Dev and u r so lucky in this. Elena started telling the things happened during this valentine's week.
Sonakshi went back to the incident(thinking): Yes, he gave others a different rose and a red one for me. Am i really that lucky? But he could've done that out of friendship(Her heart raced with joy thinking abt the new unknown feeling, refusing to listen to anyother reference and gave a smile outwards)
Elena somehow felt delighted to see her sister-cum-friend's genuine happiness and her reactions.
Elena(teasing): So Sona, from ur smile I can say u connected dots of happiness with someone. Haan haan.. batao.. who's that?
Sonakshi(faking anger): Elena chup! Koi nahi. Aur kuch nahi. Samjhe tum.
Elena: yes ma'am understood (she saluted and walked with sona to class)

Upon reaching the class, Vicky saw Bunty who's arranging for the valentine's night ball. Vicky went to him and whispered something, for which Bunty showed thumps up. Vicky took a deep breath, relaxed and called Dev.
Dev picked up his call and said: Hello!
Vicky: Work's done bro!
Dev with a smile: Thanks Vicky.
After cutting the call, he smirked to himself and said: Sonakshi, i am gonna be the most Happiest man confessing to u. Just wait for the surprise my dear Khargoshy!

At the class,
Sonakshi entered the class to see the arrangements inside the class and vicky standing with Bunty discussing something. She looked around the class, searching for Dev. But he was nowhere to be seen. Soon as the everyone settled themselves, Bunty announced abt the Valentine's Night Ball.
Bunty: Hey guys, as u all know I am organising this year's V-Day party. And as an organiser, this year am happy to introduce some changes and new events. To make the day more special for couples, for singles, for the ones who r about to confess and for the ones who r searching for love, here we are introducing the 'Valentine's Night Ball' for the first time in our college. So, com'on guys, are you ready for this? (He thumps up'ed raising his hands in air for everyone to join)
Everyone got excited and shouted: ohh hoo eyaaya!
Elena got super excited hearing the announcement about the ball and drifted into the thoughts. Suddenly, her face fell when he annouced a condition and her thought chain was broken.
Bunty: Guys, There will be a Couple Ball Dance and you have to participate in Two. Nobody will be able to stage up as solo and its mandatory, if u wanna dance on the special V-Night stage! So guys, are you all ready for it? (He shouted and thumbs up'ed in air)
Elena didn't know what to do now and was engrossed in the thoughts that who will accompany her for the dance.Sonakshi who was also listening to bunty's couple dance announcement was taken back to one and only person. And that's Dev! She herself didn't know, why she's taking his care and affection of friendship as love. But she was completely affected by him.
To add more fuel to this, Dev wasn't present in the class. As everyone dispersed, soon the lecture too started. But his absence made her more and more restless. She missed him so much and wanted to atleast get a glimpse of his charming face so badly.
She was continously worried abt Dev's absence to university and kept on questioning herself: Why he didn't turn up today? What's wrong with him? Hope he is fine. Should I enquire Vicky? Nah, nah, he seems to be not caring, when I ask him. He makes up by saying i dont know or i didnt talk with him this morning and bla bla. It's useless to ask vicky(she found herself in chain of thoughts) Urgg!! Sona, better u concentrate the lecture. Stop thinking abt him. Stop! (once calmed, she tried to focus on the lecture).
Vicky was noticing Sonakshi's each and every reaction and by now, he is sure that Dev was the first person who popped in her mind as the couple dance was announced. He smirked thinking, 'Haa evrything is going just as we wanted. Dev bhai will be happy to know this'.

At Dixit Mansion(Evening),
For every now and then, Vicky called Dev to inform the arrangements and abt Sonakshi from the college. Now he came directly in person to share his role play of being a Cupid.
Vicky(excitedly): Dudee, U can no idea how priceless the reactions that Sonakshi bhabhi gave when it's abt you. She missed u alot. Now I've a complete hope that she will definitely accept you whole heartedly once she convinces herself that she loves. As i told you already, i could see the love for u in her eyes and she was pretty sad worried abt ur absence. You missed all the scenes of untold love expressions from her face.
Dev(furious of letting sona to be sad): it's all because of you and ur plan, that we both suffered the day without seeing eachother. I felt suffocated without being around her presence. I fe..felt like someone just snatched something from me. And that someone is you!(he outbursted)
Vicky(defending): Ohhh woo bhai, calm down. Just think it from different angle. If you had turned up today, You as well as her would've had the same normal routine as always. Yea, the same chupan chupa khel that u both would've played to hide ur feelings. But now I am damn sure, Sonakshi would've definitely felt something missing from her life in ur absence. Even if the day hadn't benefitted you, it gave her a chance to look at her life of a day without you. I know, her day didn't go happily without you but am sure, she would realise she can't live without you. Same goes to you. U felt suffocated being in home without her presence. You realised you can't live without her and so WILL she. It's a guarantee from my side. It's happening according to what I expected and Dev just few more hours. Things are usually worth the wait(he said winking at him)
Dev(Smiled at his bro): Yeah, you are right. If u werent there, today i would've been in the same dilemma with which I woke up today(Without realising) Thanks dude for paving a good way to me and Sorry for my outburst. You know, am lil tempered. Its just because i missed her so much and didn't know what to do, but right now the situation is Ms.Khargosh is missing me so much! (He smiled) I am very happy Vicky (he hugged him)
Vicky still in hug and said: Arre dont thank me Bhokaboy in love. Am also happy that u credited me with thanks and making me win (Smirks)
Dev remembered that he wasn't supposed to thank him until the plan ends with hug success.,but he didn't wish u take it back. Afterall, he is his younger brother.
Vicky coming outta the hug: Ok, now get to ready for Tonight's ball.
It was them, who wanted to make something special and asked bunty for the help in arranging the ball night. Dev wholeheartedly started getting ready as he couldn't wait already.
