I belong to the category 'tried and tested', 😊 . Yes!! I guess as newly weds with a few raging hormones. Dont worry it was not in slow motion and with ruffled hair and wind blowing , but my lifts had its own charm.

Unmarried people, what Dev did is just for a serial and period, it stops there. Dont expect such things in real life. Keep such scenes for the serial. But in reality, take it upon yourself, to develop a nice romantic relationship with your partner, minus the knowledge of films/serials, there is more beauty to be explored on the other side of the television screen.

I dont know if in real life husbands do it or not..but I guess of one has physique like Dev then why not..they can lift their wives and Shaheer has huge built..its not difficult for him.

Well Shaheer can do this to his real life wife too as he is strong enough to do so..its personal choice I guess

and Coming to show off part ..well its fiction so they need to do this "hero" thing like lifting heroins ..

@ asha : tried nd tested. ... mmm thinking abt all romantic movies.. esp. Maniratnam movies.. i always thought my husband cudnt do it but he really surprised me. Whn i tried lifting him ( only vertical haan) we had a bad fall injuring our arms. But we only laugh abt it now.. am not persistant but we do for fun sake cos once u r lifted romance flies out of the window leaving u thinking abt safety🤣

My husband tried it a couple of times in the early days of marriage (eons ago!) & I was more scared of falling down or him hurting his back. So not much fun really!

Shaheer looks huge esp when he was standing in line next to the bald guy in the segment about the camp! I'll just confine myself to drooling over him. Damn he is not only good looking, he's got a great body too. Sigh!

He is 6'2..huge toh hoga hi HAHA and has such a well structured body..definitely looks worth drooling..dont confine yourself LOL

I used to watch a lot of hindi shows at the time of my marriage and I was so obsessed with the lifts, eyelocks and the usual hindi serial romance tropes. So, during the first few months of my marriage, we tried it all. Let me tell you the truth. I felt it was all very superficial. The eyelocks.. made me laugh or look away after a few seconds. The lifts were scary. I'm atleast 5 kgs heavier than my husband. Every time he lifted me I was so scared that I will fall down or that he'll hurt his back. But he said he's fine. It helps that he's all muscles even if he's skinnier than me. All this was in private and we had a lot of fun while doing this. But ot was not romantic like the way they show on tv. I sprained my leg once and couldn't walk at all. I had to walk down the stairs to get to the car so that he could take me to the hospital. My husband picked me up in front of my whole family and carried me to the car. I was so embarrassed, I couldn't look at anyone.

It's been 4 years since we're married and he still picks me up sometimes for fun but always in private. I've realized something. Real life is the opposite of what they show on tv. What looks so hot or romantic on screen is not so in real life whereas what looks boring on tv are very very romantic when you actually do it.

Wow didnt expect this to be a big thing in real life! 😲 😳 I guess I have all of this to look forward too! I too am scared that I would break my future husband's back if he tried to carry me! 😆 Lets see but who wouldn't want someone like Shaheer carrying you around the house! ☺️
