But my 15 year old binge watching Friends told me yesterday that in Friends the writers purposely showed that any way of having a child is beautiful. Phoebe had surrogacy. Rachel was a single mother and Monica adopted a child.

Exactly... Even I would have preferred that the CVs have made Sona get the child in any alternate ways owing to the infertility track that they introduced...

But yeah this "my blood, my blood" drama wouldn't be possible and Ishu toh would have made Dev marry by drugging him and made him a pappa without him knowing how it all happened...😆🤣All thanks to her thirst for her own family blood...😆

And I feel sad why make good people like that and pure heart without venom only to be thrown at the cruelty of people who don't value them at all...

Dev-Sona have such a contrast of core values.. One thinks anything is fair to keep his family (I still have to come out with a tree diagram for what consist of his family😆) happy.. But again that family toh not happy with anything😆 and they become weakness of each other.. The other thinks family is all about helping each other to be at their best to be happy with themselves even at their worst situations...😳 They become strength for each other...🤗

Drop jealousy track ( which lasted for 2 episodes 😆), introduce side character's marriage track, let the male lead look like an unkempt goonda (you'd think he'l shave and look his best to impress his daughter but then the actor needs that look for his movie so presentation doesn't matter 😆), show 15 minutes of Ishwari in a 20 minute episode and make everything about dadi-poti

Writers realize show has got extension-

Dev suffers from partial memory loss, goes back to being nice to his mom (when he was angry just last week), get the leads back to square one (even if it makes no sense), insert random tracks like summer camp and the cycle continues 😆

P.S. Ishwari is a total go-getter 🤣 She deserved to be a businesswoman/politician. Would have been more successful than all the characters on this show. Such a shame she has restricted herself to the role of a mother and now dadi 😆
