The episode starts with Dev's snarky greeting and Soha saying that she dialed his number.
Dev's tone changed 180 degree.
Soha says that she asked her mother to dial this number because she was thinking about him.
Dev says that he ONLY thinks about Soha.
Suhana says that she missed him and Dev says that he missed her more and he is happy that she missed him. He can't wait to see her. He says that he is coming right away.
Soha is uneasy. She hands over the phone to her mother. Sona looks at Soha and takes clues from her expression. Sona takes the phone and tells him that it's too late now. Soha just wanted to talk to him. She is not ready to meet him yet.
Dev retorts that Sona is no one to tell him when to meet his daughter or not. He is coming right away.
Sonakshi very politely says that Soha just wanted to talk to him. She has to go to bed because she has school tomorrow.
But Dev rudely tells Sonakshi that it's not her job to think. She doesn't have to tell him anything.
Me: This is what I wrote in my comment in yesterday's post before this episode aired.
Had Soha not run away that day and was neutral as in neither happy nor sad, you think Dev would have given her time? He is scared of losing Soha and turning her off and that's exactly he backed off.
And it was bang on. God, I felt like giving him a tight slap. All my sympathy has dried up for this guy.
Dev says that Sonakshi can't dictate when to meet his daughter.
Sonakshi tells him that Soha is little and needs time. He needs to have patience.
Dev retorts that he has waited long enough.
Me: And whose fault is that, you jerk? The lady whining behind you, that's who. I swear if anyone tries to convince me today that he is a decent human being is not getting a single response from me except a bashing comment on Dev Dixit.
He is now convinced that Soha can make his psycho mother and his pathetic self happy, so who cares about Sonakshi the mother who knows her daughter better than anyone? Such disrespect to the mother of the daughter.
And Sonakshi, you are barking up the wrong tree. When did selfish Dev ever thought of anyone else but what he and his mother wanted?
Sonakshi asks Dev to meet her at school the next day. Ishwari is hyperventilating on what Sonakshi said and if she agreed. What Sonakshi wants?
Dev is disappointed and he was dreaming about Soha running away and pacing around while thinking about what Sonakshi said. Sonakshi and Soha are sleeping peacefully.
Me: I bet you are hoping money, so that you can buy your poti. But unfortunately Sonakshi wants you to drop off the face of the Earth. Will you do it, Maata? For your poti? Pretty please?
Aur Bhaiya? Ho gaya aapka selfless kurbani? Soha ko time dene ka faisla itni jaldi gayeb ho gaya? Isi liye aap jaise logon ko apna ungli nehin dena chahiye. Aap log sidha gala pakar lete ho.
Golu comes to school and Suhana smiles at him. He is confused why she smiled. He thinks why Suhana is smiling at him. He is suspicious of her nice attitude.
Golu takes out his phone because Dev asked Golu to call him when he gets to school. Dev asks Golu to turn the cellphone so that he can see Soha through the camera phone. Golu asked why he wants to see Soha? Dev tells her that she is his sister. Golu realises why Suhana was nice to her.
Dev asks to give the cell phone to Suhana. Suhana gets flustered and stays silent. The teacher comes and tells teacher that Golu brought cell phone to the school. Dev takes the responsibility by lying (why am I not surprised?) but teacher still takes away the cell phone and punishes Golu.
Golu thinks that he is better off without a sister. She got him into trouble.
Later, Soha offers to share her lunch. Golu is upset. But he sets up rules which are adorbilicious. Watch that section.
Me: Let me first stand up and clap. Sonakshi, you have raised an exceptional child. She not only doesn't do any wrong thing, but also doesn't let anyone she loves to take the wrong path. What a lucky day it was for you when Ishwari turned you away. Had you gave birth to Soha while living there, Suhana would learn all his father's bad habits including supporting wrong deeds of his loved ones and lying about it.
Ronita and Saurabh come for date. People make fun of him, loudly.
At Dixit house, Dev gets ready to meet Suhana. Everyone is clamouring for the new piece of meat. Dev says that he will meet Suhana first and have lunch with her. He waits for Sona to call him.
But Ishwari incites Dev to just drop in on Suhana. Dev says that he doesn't want to give Sonakshi any reason to keep Suhana away. Ishwari starts whining about Sonakshi.
Me: Bhaiya, bade nek vichar hain aapke. Woh aapko attitude dikhate samay yaad nehin raha? Tab agar apni tone or behaviour, dono respectful rakhte, to yeh post kuch aur hota.
Sonakshi calls and asks him to meet at passport office by two. She also says that Soha has activity class at 2. She had to come because they can't miss this appointment. But Dev doesn't want to wait. He starts his blame game again that Sonakshi is trying to keep Soha away from him, he has to go to the other end of the city to meet his daughter, this is all Sonakshi's plan blah blah blah.
Anyways, Dev agrees to drive to passport office.
Me: You know what, Dev? If Sonakshi wanted to keep Soha away from you, all she had to do is to describe her marriage to her. Trust me, Soha would have hated you on sight. So either you tone down your disrespectful attitude, or I really hope Karma slaps you so hard that you head spins.
Soha and Sona is waiting in the car for Dev to arrive. Soha worries that she will be late. Sonakshi distracts Soha. But they were getting late. So they leave.
Dev arrives, but they had left already. Dev then comes to the school and starts blasting Sonakshi that if she thinks that he will beg in front of her for his daughter, she is dreaming. He will never bend in front of her. He says that he doesn't need her permission to meet his daughter.
Sonakshi tells him to bring his voice down.
Me: I'd have told him to go eff himself and left from there. Bijoy was so right about Dev. He is still the same jerk as before.
Sonakshi says that Soha had activity class. So she is there which she also told him. She also tells Dev that he is forgetting that he has thrown them out of his life 7 years ago and now that he knows about his daughter he is making demands? She says that he can't pressurise Soha. So If he can't keep his patience, he doesn't deserve her.
Sonakshi says that she raised Soha alone, so if he thinks that he can use his money and buy witnesses, he can. She can go through legal system as well. Dev is still blasting while Sonakshi is cool as cucumber. She is no longer scared of Dev.
But she says that Dev rudely interrupted her, but what she was saying is that after Soha returns from activity class, and afterwards she will take a nap. He can meet Soha after she wakes up at 4 in the evening.
Dev is shocked.
Me: I can't believe that Sonakshi is even still talking to Dev. If he really doesn't know how to talk to people, he should be answered in his own language. God, he could not have fallen lower today.
Precap: Ishwari asks Dev if he has met Suhana. Dev says that she is in class and Sona asked him to meet her at 4. Ishwari barges in Asha and Bijoy's house and refuses to leave until she meets her poti. Bijoy says that he will call the police. Sonakshi sees Dev is standing outside the home from her window.
Me: Excellent. Mummy is back in business. Last time mummy fetched Sonakshi with emotional blackmailing, this time he sent mummy to fetch Soha. Anyone has anymore doubt on where the Mamma's boy went?
