Hello guyz,I am very new here and its my first day in India forum after I logged in and my first post on DevAkshi.
I had my curiosity in action to watch the show when I had seen its first promo where Dev and Sona had their conversation in a coffe table,perhaps outside the house,about the uncomfort of ishwari about their relationship.It gave me really a very obedient vibes from the guy to go on the verge of leaving his ladylove at fear of disrespecting his mother whom he worships.Then the girls with her calm and a very patient attitude presented with an elegent selfrespect maintaining it in herself earned an ardent fan of her show like me.To be very honest,in the first promo Erica didn't look attractive and beautiful(only to me) at all and as I had always a crush on shaheer,I jumped on my sofa and started crumbling my remot with a severe blush on my cheeks and I had a serious impulse in me to catch the show and obviously stay stick to it.So,Yes I rided on the show just for shaheer despite a story I hate most -Sas bahu drama and the show was fully based on it.
With many episodes coming and going,I had the mushiness of evergrowing DevAkshi chemistry with coming time.Erica kept glowing so much that she seemed one of the finest actress and beautiful souled human being to me.Ishwari character was very predictable that time and of course very convincing one to the viewers to gain respect as a struggling mother to raise her son all alone without the support of a man and turning him into a successful businessman.I salute her for that.
DevAkshi romance kept growing and I liked all their scenes starting from the dance in the party to the rain scene after their confession.Their romance was very short-lived after their man to woman type love confession because ishwari had to turn into a typical mother.But if I visualize the fact then ish character could have been justified to great extent if Cv's would executed it in a authentic way not dramatically.In order to get more trps and maintaining a long existing story,they kept killing ish character to such extent that people don't even have a motherly respect for her now.If you guys analysis the show,then you will see that it is standing on the same position like a mannequin as it was since its air in spite of completing 200 episodes or having the leaps internally.It started with a mother problem in sharing his son with his love and the show is still revolving around the same problem without any proper justification to the chahracter of a mother.The show makers have no other story or track to continue the story hence they are just going with their start-ups of a mother-son-daughter-inlaw theory.Justthink once,if they show redeemption of ish and a great reunion of sona-ish,what will be left in the show to earn money from for the makers??Entry of a ekta serial type vamp who stay glued to their plans for years,sometimes get successful and sometimes die and then again rebirth to torment the leads?? Huh !!A pure family drama like krpab will never have such tracks and thats why to continue the show they are playing with the same ball with some twist and turns in it where they really cant afford to change the ball.
But they forgot just one very important thing and that's Dev character.In the urge of ruining ish,they somehow has butchered him.A son is not always there to make a balance betwen his mother and wife.He can love both equally and I know Dev has mainted that equation in initial episodes.I dont think he was ever a mamma's boy.He just had an extra love for her mother as his mother had occupied both the places of parents in Dev's life.Obviously,when you will get two's love from one person,you will love back him threefoldedy and thats what happened with Dev.But that doesn't make him a mamma's boy.
Then Cv's made him loose the balance and till now he hasnt realized the imbalance of his relationship.I never thought a main lead character would be put at adjudication in front of his fandom to be judgemental about.But Dev (not shaheer) character was made to be criticized by us.And personally if I say then I hate him now to serious extent.
After the leap,there isn't shown a lil bit of regret of Dev of somehow making sona away from him.No proper eyelock,not a concerning dialogue and not even a collision of love.I think in between Cv's got its mind back and they offered us with Dev lovey dovey style in form of a short-lived jealousy and a heroic attitude in the earthquake time.We even got a lifting moment.I literally had my hopes back when I saw Dev forcibly lifting Sona.There could have been a lasted eye lock.Okay lets adjust with it!!
But Again,I think Cv's has lost its mind.Even after getting the justification from sona of keeping soha hidden for seven years,he is behaving like a jerk.Be a man,Dev!! The girl has given you a daughter whom you wanted as a token of your love.Whatever grudges he has againt her or what indifferent behaviour he had towards sona before the truth came out,he must have atleast the respect to say a simple hello when his phone screen flashes "Sonakshi" not this "Aaj ms.bose ko meri yaad kaisa agai?" .Dev's voice was full of irritation seeing Sonakshi calling her.Doesn't he love her anymore?Leave a normal conversation,leave a simple hi,he could have at least a faded smile or a normal reaction on his face not the irked one he had after answering the call.At least,we viewers could have had the chance to see the continuity in their relationships.
I completely realize why Dev wants soha to be with him.Any father would want that.But only Soha?Whenever he has prayed the companion of his daughter,he never had the mention of sona not even in memories.Doesnt he crave for her?Doesnt Dev feel like to at least hug sona once after knowing about Soha?He could have hugged her in a sudden reflex action if not intentionally.This could have at least give me a chance to ship them again.I am not against their confrontation on soha,but before that Cv's could have showed a lil bit of love of Dev for the mother of his child.
If the show continue like this and if without any continuity of DevAkshi romance,they suddenly jump into a apology of Dev and sona forgiving him and living happily ever -after,Then I am sorry I am just done with them.I mean seriously now Dev isn't even remembering sona and suddenly they will be like falling on each other and having teen age romance.How can we viewers digest the fact?I am not against with the track of the show.But at least dont end DevAkshi charm which always had the centre of attraction of the show.I am not saying to end their differences at least not now (Untill Dev is highly redeemed in guilt) but show some cravings even in their fight.
If Cv's will not take any step to work on DevAkshi anymore,their long lost charm can never again gain the same attractions like their name "DevAkshi"
