Comparing 2-day old father with a pro is not fairgame, however, the kick-start already took place and let's see how it is !

Ishwari's reason for obsessing over Dev - Poverty.
Dev's reason for obsessing over Soha - Lack of knowledge on her existence.

Dev in the eyes of Ishwari - Her favourite slave who willingly will do anything for her even if that's not ethically right. Takes pride in it.
Soha in the eyes of Dev - Wants to enslave her so that she comes to Dev on her own even if that means ditching her mother who raised her so far. Takes pride in it.

Ishwari's concern for Dev's thoughts - None. Zilch.
Dev's concern for Soha - None. Zilch. Today didn't even ask how Soha is feeling/doing now.

Ishwari's love for Dev - All about what she feels about her rights irrespective of any 3rd party's rightfully rights on him.
Dev's love for Soha - All about what he feels about his rights irrespective of any 3rd party's rightfully rights on him.

Ishwari's approach for Dev - Passive aggressive by manipulating him to come to her.
Dev's approach for Soha - Passive aggressive by manipulating her to come to him.

Dev for Ishwari - Competition.
Soha for Dev - War.

Ishwari's feelings for Dev's baggage (Sonakshi) - Koi matlab nahi inse. Matlab sirf Dev se. Non tolerance and non acceptance.
Dev's feelings for Soha's baggage (Sonakshi) - Koi matlab nahi usse. Matlab sirf Soha se. Non tolerance and non acceptance.

I think you've covered everything. I'll just add one observation to elaborate one of your points.

When Ishwwari wants/wishes something & talks to Dev,she ignores his expressions which convey his feelings and continue with her stories ending with her "Meri khushi to teri khushi me hai"

When Dev first talked to Soha as her father about what he wanted/wished, he also ignored her shocked and scared expressions and continued with his stories ending with " Sab waisa hi hoga hai jaisa aap chahte ho."

See anything similar?😉

I am hoping he'll not resort to outright manipulations and lies like Ishwari.But so far it doesn't look great.Will add more thoughts later if something comes to mind.Off to sleep now.😆

Yes, this is right. I dont think he would resort to lies, but of course he would resort to Hiding and Manipulating for the good of Soha you know how Dev cares for his people right ? 😳😆

Ha, ha, ha, ha, enjoyed this perspective... I wonder from this comes from! I would not be able to think on these lines. When I read it, gave me food for thought. for that, thanks!

One thing I know, from my heart, ishwari's parenting is fundamentally flawed and rooted in selfishness. None of her children, barring Ria to some extent, turned out to be whole products! At best they can be half and half, not milk. But then there is also good use of half and half too. I use it regularly to make my own dose of chai! 😊
