The show was always promoted as progressive. We saw two households with stark contrast.. one in which a son is given importance then daughters and other which doesn't believe in discrimination of kids based on gender.. then there was Ishwari drama (let's not even get into that) and bose household best family in the world first for sona and now for Soha! Soha has been brought up so beautifully and gracefully without any bitter feelings for her father who stranded her mother and her grandparents with no roof and no job! And now Dixit family claims Soha as heir, iss ghar ki ladki..
how?? Can someone explain? Wasn't Ishwari was the one who made a clause on prenup that sona's kid won't be liable to any wealth or upbringing from Dixit household because that might take away her daughters right??? How is this woman claiming that small child now?? She taunted sonakshi for not being a mother when she din even know anything! She made faces when a small kid resembled her mother! Can she be even called a mother? A woman?
How regressive is Dixit family???? Why are cvs doing this to us?? Everyday Dixit falls to a new low! Be it mother or son or other puppets in the family! 😡

😆 This has to be the MOST regressive show I have ever seen, but I am happy to see a family like Bose Family existing in the same show which makes the difference even more clear. So far I haven't got the feeling that they want to justify Ishwari's actions, instead all her actions have been proved as boomerang and she has lost the respect from the apple of her eye. However, I want the show to highlight that a girl like Sona can never reconcile with a man like Dev and a family like Dixits. Sona and Soha are NOT made for Dixits. Period.

Hope the show ends on a happy note with each episode highlighting the contrast between the selfishness of the Dixits and the fun-filled open environment in the Boses. By utter regressive thoughts portrayed by the bunch of Dixits throughout the show, the ONLY way the show can claim being progressive is if they show a tragic end for a change.

For an Indian show, that means a lot. And that's the maximum of 'progressive'-ness we can expect from it. Let's hope for that. 😊

I can't help but wonder, how'd have Ishwari reacted about Soha, if Dev hadn't given the news to her after that exuberant hug. If he had shared the news like he was talking to his mother in season 2? Because as it stands now, it seems to me she was more happy to have her son's mother devotion back than she is about a grand daughter who resembles her ex daughter-in-law.
I wonder if Dev had shared the news with the same anger he is showing Sonakshi (after all his mother is responsible for their break up), will she still react the same way.

There is no such thing as progressive Indian show. Some have tried to be but in the end it's a trp game.

As for the prenup when ish got it made the lawyer told her in case of divorce sona would not be entitled to anything. It was only bijoy who reads the child clause & mentions to Asha. Now considering that ish is shown as illiterate she may not be aware of the child clause. This might come back to bite her but nowadays everything & everybody seem to disappear at the cvs wish!

Also since the leap they have only shown the boses side of the story including now the flashback that sona came to see him with soha. She even introspeted with jatin about what went wrong in the marriage. There has been no such fbs from dev. What did he do the last 7 yrs apart from what they showed at the beginning of the leap. Why is he still tolerating the people in his house? There have been a lot of inconsistencies regarding his interactions with ish.

All I can say this serial has become a serial of black & white characters & no greys in between.

Logic was thrown out of the door long ago. Cvs have to be reminded of the details of their own story... tooo many bloopers/ mistakes
Also insensitively showing stalking at home/ school ...justifying the same with some emotional drama. We all get taken in by emotions
They have shown one family as progressive and the other as regressive
Ishwari was not an evil person to begin with . She was shown to be a woman of previous generation who believed her son was her property and expected devotion . But she was shown to have a conscience. Remember the scene b4 sonakshi's accident. She felt bad when she did something wrong or hurt her even when she was not related to her. Her character has turned completely
Watching it only for some brilliant episodes once or twice a week, intense acting by the entire cast some superb dialogues and screenplay in some episodes
The main story still strikes an emotional chord
