Ishwari's mentality is sick.🤢And Dev too did not take any action against her.
It's all because of Soha I guess.Just for Soha's sake Maa-Bete have changed their colors.Had there been no Soha they would have been back to Square one.

That's why I don't want any reconciliation between Dev-Sona ever !! I'm already hugely disappointed with the way things are turning out and events are unfolding in S2.

I strongly wanted one of the following BEFORE SOHA'S TRUTH WAS REVEALED -

1. Dev and Sona to at least start to realize and consider how meaningless their life is with out each other and how they missed each other so much these 7 years . In stead we got "moved on " drama at both sides.

2. Some fbs that shows Dev at least tried to reach out to Sona or at the very least thought about it. But the fact that he never felt the need to do so in these SEVEN long years proves that Sonakshi as a person and lover is not important to him and he doesn't really need her in his life.

3. Them having some semblance of maturity and have a calm well mannered mature empthetic adult conversation over what happened 7 years back and why n hows of it. If not completely forgive each other at least try to understand their POV , each other's pain or admit their own share of mistakes.

What we got instead ?? Excruciatingly irritating office tashan , blame games , public insult matches and washing dirty laundry in public ! 😲 🤢

Now if they ever reconcile , the viewers will never be sure that their was any remnant love between them , in fact they'll be sure that they reunited only for Soha , if not directly at least indirectly.

Dev had no respect for his ex-wife , but now suddenly Sona's status will be elevated and he'll start looking at her with a new light and even "feel" for her hardships because "wo uski bachhe ki maa hai " and Soha was co sufferer in Sona's plight.

Other wise who the hell is Sonakshi and her plight n struggles after being bankrupt and homeless 7 yrs back ??

Agree Gargi.

I am not yet thinking about their reunion or anthing. That is by far the most difficult thing to happen now.
At this point, there should be no reunion.

At no point there should be any reunion. 🥱 Because now that the Soha factor will be included in their every equation , so it'll be the glue to their weak relationship that couldn't survive with out the child factor. Already it disturbs me when Dev said in the precap , " NOw your and mine relationship has become more stronger.. " proving that it was weak minus Soha.

Love story my foot ! When two people are not sufficient to find their ways back to each other's arms and lives and they need the cementing factor in the form of their biological kid , that's ABSOLUTELY NOT ANY LOVE STORY.

Exactly Gargi.Now that Sonakshi is the mother of Dev's only child and the Chiraag of the Dixit clan,Dev has started feeling her pain??🤢

Did he ever empathise with her when Sonakshi was on the streets with her family??No!! Instead he was busy in drowning himself in alcohol and having 'casual relationships' while his Mom moaned the fact that she lost her devoted slave.

Dev never bothered to how the woman whom he loved was faring.He didn't even care if she was dead or alive.

But now Sonakshi will have a say because she has given birth to a child.Dev will understand Sonakshi's suffering because she is his daughter's mother.Wow!! So according to the Dixits,a wife is of no value without a child.If she can't give him a child then she is useless.

Then why on earth should Sonakshi return to Dev as his wife?? He never loved her for who she was.It's Soha whom he wants.

The best possible thing to do now is that Dev only gets visitation rights and Ishwari never gets to interact with Soha.

Basically it's all for Soha.Where does Sonakshi fit in here?? At this point a reunion should not be even the last thing.

I have a feeling the show will wrap up in a month or two. The only way the writers will let the characters act mature is if they are winding things up. I was surprised Dev was firm about not getting re-married and the jealousy track lasted only for a couple of episodes. The only time you can expect maturity and sense out of an Indian show is during the first couple of months and the last few episodes if the writers have enough time to wrap it up 😆

Gargi,Dev is nowhere near even the first step of redemption.He was a failure as a husband.Period.

He has done absolutely nothing so far to show that he has even an inkling of what Sona must have gone through, not even an iota of guilt. Not being concerned about her when he knew that she didn't have money or house is one of the many instances which clearly shows the shallowness of his so called love.

The only hope on seeing the segment is that he at least starts behaving like an adult who is capable of thinking about his daughter and only then can he become a father.He might have said those words because he is left with no choice other than to accept Soha & Sona's decision.Does he understand it? Most probably not. Will he still have to accept it? Yes. If he wants to be a part of Soha's life.

hi guys! lovely discussion here! mind if i join? i have been following this show for ages and usually when things start to get shitty i run away like a hungry donkey after a sugarcube but it is sona who has truly kept me in this show. she is a breathe of fresh air in the puddle of bs that is indian tv heroines. i was a silent reader till date but seeing half the forum's attitude to the word feminist- im like is that supposed to be offensive to me? its generally a word used for women who are smart enough to know and be capable of, fighting for their own freedom of choice and opinions...so im gonna wear that as a compliment. and the whole discussion of dev and his monumental rights and haqs to be mad and exercise authority on soha...what? people are so self-righteous and clueless about litigations, its kind of worrying. people shouldnt marry without knowing whats up with a prenup and DEFINITELY NOT without understanding how custody works! damn people are overly positive about marriages in this country. 😆 especially cos monkeys like dev yaha pe crore mil jayenge.

I just saw the segment and I think I mentioned it before. The only reason why Dev-Soha work is cos of Shaheer and his chemistry with the kid 😆 It ends up looking like Dev has a great connect with the kid, call of the blood or something on those lines but the major reason why it works is cos of the chemistry they share 😆

Aliya even said 'yeh mere favourite hain' 😆 It'l be years before Dev hears this on screen 😆

@bold: Sona shouldn't even bring out this point. Dev would easily say "Stupid pride and ego because of which you suffered. Who asked you to struggle like that. You could have begged me and I would have forgiven you" 😆
