Sona should not leave the decision to Soha

Honestly, i believe even if Soha asks sona to arrange her to meet her dad... sona should not do it until sona is absolutely sure that Dev is not going to play any of his nasty - above the law - tactics.

I still cant forget the sentence "Tera ye beta tere liye kuch bhi karega maa.. kuch bhi " .. this is when Ishwari came back home after the temple drama and sona was forced to agree for infertility treatments. i still remember how sona looked at him when he said it... it was sad

Given that Dev dixit doesnt always play fair game and if it comes to pleasing his mom .. what is the gaurantee that he wont plant false evidence and prove in the court that Sona is actually a drug addict... He as a matter of fact very well knows how to twist law ... we have seen him doing it.

So i would say Sona should keep it hidden until she feels safe that dev will not play any dirty games to get Soha's custody

Also, sona still thinks Dev is still a puppet of his mother and has not changed. so she needs to realize and understand that Dev can think different and act in a direction that doesnt please his mother now.

if anything goes wrong and Dev is successful in getting full custody of SOha, then Soha will lose a loving family where she is emotionally and physically happy ( except that she is curious about her dad.. she is not really missing out on anything)
Soha will go to the dixit shit hole which is no good place to grow up for any kid.

As a responsible mother, Sona should do what is best for Soha ... chance of losing custody of Soha vs introducing father that Soha never knew and doesnt miss too much.
Also Dev Dixit's feelings and haqs should be the last thing Sona should be considering while making this decision

ps: all those who are asking sona to reveal to dev as it is his haq... would you still say sona should reveal if Dev has remarried and has his own family and happily living with his kids.?
I doubt it... the reason for putting pressure on sona is not because it is best for Soha but it is because Dev dixit is in a sad and miserable state and ppl are just showing sympathy and feel he deserves happiness.

This. Thanks for making this post Lavanya.

I always said the same thing - Such a huge decision cannot be taken based on what a 6 yr old child wants. Dev, in no way, is in a state to father someone... he has to first become a sober guy to talk to. Until unless Sona feels Dev is responsible and sensitive enough for a kid, she should not consider this meeting even if tomorrow Soha says yes. !!

Whatever happens.. Either Soha's decision in wanting to meet her dad or Dev getting to know that Soha is Sona's daughter, Dev-Sona should meet up first, vet out their anger, disappointment or revenge, then calm down to talk about it, and then take any decision to take it forward.. I sincerely wish for them to not fight ugly and show the their grievances in front of the kid.. Let the kid know that she was born out of love and her parents loved each other very much.. 😳

Lavanya, yet again you have hit the nail on the head. It's not about how deprived of unhappy Soha is because we clearly saw that she is anything but.

It's about making Dev happy, giving him a prop. Before it was Sonakshi's responsibility to keep him happy killing her self-worth, respect, dignity etc so that he doesn't have to ever stand up for his wife because the poor guy is torn between his mother and wife. Such a sad life to have his cake and eat it too.

Now apparently, it's his daughter's responsibility for keeping him happy because if she decides not to meet his father, despite given a lot of open choices, she is not normal. I mean which normal person won't want to keep Dev Dixit happy? Isn't that the aim of every living being to cater to his whims?

A woman may not get the "Haq" of a wife, the respect of a human being, the dignity of a woman who kept on being understanding, but God forbid a man loses even a tiny bit of "Haq"... Like I said, the double standard no longer shocks me. Just makes me disappointed these days.

Completely agree Lavanya...
I am looking for the day of redemption of Dev the right way. His intent may be there but all his means are just terrible...

Ego is playing a good part of it. If he is truly the man he was shown to be in the first 100 episodes, he would just go to Sona, go on his knees, seek forgiveness, even if he has to breakdown... and win her back... nothing else should ever matter.

Absolutely valid point.
If Dev didn't bother to stalk Sona all these years, know if she even has a house or not, how her family survived what they faced - chuck all that, not even wanting to know if Sona is alive or not but sulking full-time, oh no, let me correct that, doing "casual relationships" with multiple girls as he lost belief in love? And people think that it is his "haq" to know of his daughter. When he is behaving like a 20 year old flirt (though it is not his true self), how can you expect him to play a father role in Soha's life? Father is someone who guides the daughter with right beliefs and morals.

But ywah! Being with Ishwari, how can we expect him to go the right way? Maa da laadla bigad gaya!😕

Exactly! It is like asking a 6yr old yo make a decision if she wants to go on a dangerous adventure. Such decisions should br made by the responsible gaurdian and ensure that the minors safety and wellbeing.
So unless sona is absolutely sure that revealing the truth is not going to affect sohas future in a negative way.. she should just stay put and not hurry

Yup they need to keep soha out of the confrontation and agree on the plan before aoha can be officially introduced to dev.. no child should witness an ugly battle

Exactly Tia...some members are feeling bad for dev's situation and not able to think about the worst case..given devs background. I am sure no one would have cared about soha and her missing dad if dev already had a happy family... it is like ppl try to justify all his wrong doings and try to comeup with things that sona and ishwari and now soha should do to keep dev happy..why is everyone responsible for keeping him happy? Because he had a diff past? Then why not support and justify ishwari also along the same lines.. she had a diff past too. And all she is doing is to keep her son and herself happy.

Exactly.. id dev was really in so much love .. least he could have done is stalk or get updates on what is happening in sona's life all these 7 yrs. sona said she waited for him for an year after their separation... had dev showed up with concern .. things would have been different now. He would not have missed his daughter growing up..but he did not do any such thing and all he did was living "i dont care life" .. so why does he deserve to know what happened to sona or about soha now ?
