Sorry I have been MIA for some time now , I was under the weather , and badly needed rest . But the exciting episodes are not letting me to keep away from here for so long ... To top it up , news about PSLVC37 lifted all of our spirits as well right 😊, such a proud moment !!! So in this excitement lemme try to put down my thoughts on the past episodes .
The show had really picked up its pace , and is making us wait for the next episode with so much excitement . Within few episodes, makers introduced a new guy in Sona'slife , Dev-Soha meeting and bonding .
About the new guy , he genuinely seems to like Sona n the family and managed to gain Sona's trust . But he doesn't seems like a simple , naive guy like Rithvik, who was totally clueless about Dev cutting his finances , and encouraged Sona to talk about her feelings about Dev and to an extend tried to understand Dev as well . Here in Jathin's case after his first encounter with Dev , when he took away Sona , and she tried to reason with him about Dev's misbehavior , he totally dismissed her mentioning Dev and put his focus entirely on Sona . He is strong, may be his life experiences made him that , and knows what he wants , and very protective about Sona n family . So if given a situation , he would be ready to take on Dev .
Sona's illogical argument on hiding Soha's truth - I am very disappointed the way CVs had turned her character 😔 . It makes me cringe, each time she fumbles in front of Dev when it was about Soha . "Soha doesn't want to see her dad , what should I do" - she is finding her excuse on a 6 year old's decision when her actions speak otherwise . Isn't it the same thing Ishwari did after their 1st break-up - took Dev's words on face value and pretending to not see whats in front of her all the time . And the fear of Dev taking away "her" kid - Come on Sona you are not the Sona who was 7 years ago , you are a strong independent powerful woman , more than that you have written agreement in the form of a pre-nup which gives you sole custody , still why do you fear - Does that mean in spite of your constant argument you think you are not equal to Dev , n he is more powerful than you or your conscience tells you Dev might have some right on Soha as well. when she says she doesn't even want to see his face , why would she insist on being around the one person whom she thinks can take away her daughter . Why go to the extent of exposing his company's fraud thus by defaming the company which you knew he had built it up by sacrificing his whole life . ( I could understand why Sona did that being a high morale person she is , no matter how she got the evidence , and in the long run it would benefit Dev only . But I wish she held the same principles for all her life decisions ) . why telling "he doesn't exist" to Soha's teacher in front of Dev . He may be clueless now , but once he connects the dots , and because of her actions , if he becomes vindictive don't play the victim card . Have the courage to fight back , if you had the nerve to poke the lion .
Dev breaks his facade of "she doesn't matter" - Finally a small win for Ishwari , for years she was trying to get thru him , and finally today she got him admitting his true feelings in front of her. That certainly was a character growth on Dev's part , admitting ur own weakness takes courage . But why are we not surprised, the signs were there already . His constant flirting in front of her and bringing up girls in their convo, unable to tolerate her new name board , his own admittance to her , he is the only one who can hurt her . He was claiming his right,one she gave him long before . When he asked her if she also did the same for his reason , he was hoping she would say yes . For him it would mean her admitting she still had some right over him even if it is to hurt .
Ishwari lied bluntly to Dev , because deep down she knew her son , and knew how devastating it would be for him if Sona really got married . Even though Sona dismissed her having any relationship with this guy , she could see the potential in it and could predict it might happen in future . She was trying to make use of the weak moment of Dev to get him into agree for a remarriage which she is hoping , would help Dev to move on . Sadly Sona's parents are still living in the bubble that she had moved on ,and eventually would be happy once she agree to a marriage . (She would be if she could ever get over the pain love gave her , and get rid of her anger and forgive Dev ) .
Dev-Soha bonding - TBH these are the moments I am looking forward to, now a days . They sure are a treat to watch . Soha is seen the most happy chirpy one in front of Dev. And the first meeting scene was brilliant - the story she told I'm sure it would play a key role in future when Dev comes to know about her , in his version it's a story about a daughter who missed her father and missed out his love and didn't want to leave her ever . Soha is a perfect mix of Dev n Sona, - he could see himself in her- the one who acted more than her age , acting to be strong in front of the world , her little deeds of kindness ,"whatif I was that kind of a person" , no wonder Dev got an instant connection . And she reminds him of the happy times he had with Sonakshi , who else got teary eyed when he remembered tiny khargosh talk and wished they had a daughter like her . When every logical thing point that she is Sona's daughter why would Dev think otherwise. Just like he claims his right on Sona , he still expect to have some unsaid hopes , even in his wildest dreams he does not seem to think of Sona being a mother of his child and hiding it from him .
Dev's line to Soha when she fell down , about no need to be strong all the time - Didn't he expect that from Sona as well - instead of being the strong one all the time , let him in and share her vulnerabilities with him . I remember making a post about Sona-Neha learning from each other . When you choose to be a giver everyone end up taking from you and in the end you end up with anger and bitterness only. In the end you can blame everyone but forget that you chose to be on the high horse all the time which you really didn't have to.
So in todays episode they both spoke their mind and said ITS FINAL , from the looks of it, it is not , and we might have eventful weeks ahead , but one thing is final , like Dev said they loved each other more than anyone and nobody can fill that void of each other in their life .
Oh it turned out so lengthy , and the drugs are making me drowsy 🥱 . So its better to stop here . Pardon me if I'm unable to reply in time .
