@bold.. I'm guessing the court custody battle is the only thing that will get him to agree. Hopefully it doesn't get to that point.

Honestly I think its pretty natural for Dev to think Soha is Jatin's daughter. Jatin's a widower. He's the first adult he saw with her. He also wouldn't believe Sona would've hidden such a big thing from him. I really don't think its a knock against Dev to be thinking of Sonakshi's infertility. 7% is pretty slim. Even normal couples can take up to a year to conceive.

Common things being common it makes sense to think Jatin is the dad. Does Dev know Bose isn't in Jatin's name somewhere or isn't just Soha's middle name, that she likes using?

I watched Soha and Dev's scenes over again and for what I have observed is Dev's deep denial.

His denial to admit that Sona's sure can be young girl. A daughter. If Sona is a mother, then the dream he saw with her is tarnished with him not being present in Sona's life for the longest while and he has no one but to blame himself for that.

Dev's internal struggle with understanding his feelings now and his anger with Sona now can be executed in a better way but it's clear enough that his denial to face the results is what's going to stop him constantly from joining the dots together.

As for new entries, I think the new girl if she makes a way would be solely present because of Ishwari's workings. Or Vicky's.

Nothing has changed in 7yrs ,he is still the same man who decided not to marry Natasha even if it means facing huge losses in his business .

I wonder does being vocal about your own vulnerabilities and shortcomings make you a weak person .Even today he admitted the real reason for not marrying instead of putting a mask of being strong .

Honestly my heart breaks for Dev. Out of all the characters, he is the one that I empathize with the most. I think he has areas of weakness same as Sonakshi. However, today in being upfront about his feelings and pain he was definitely showing strength.

I think we are seeing Dev's redemption in a symbolic way. Dev has done some introspection and instead of showing flashbacks, the old scenes which left us feeling upset with Dev are being intermingled to show the changes in dev. His subconscious mind is playing amazing games with his psyche.

Like some of you said, Golu and soha are playing the roles of Ishwari and sonakshi interchangeably when Dev is around. For example, Golu kept reminding soha she is coming between him and bigcha. In the heat of the moment he pushes soha. He didn't mean to. Just like sonakshi didn't mean to push Ishwari. Golu is scared he will be asked to "get out" by people who matter however this time Dev promised that he won't let that happen.

At the birthday party on 25th November 2016, Sonakshi was left out. Yesterday Dev has an ice cream party with Golu and soha. Golu and dev enjoyed the ice cream by consuming it and not falling sick. Soha shared it with someone and got a gift for dev in return. Everyone was happy and there were no ugly speeches. 

Dev gave Soha a fake parent while her real parents are in front of him who he isn't able to "see" . Just like during the fake pregnancy the reality was in front of everyone but dev was too busy chasing the mirage. Dev had his reason for lying. When sonakshi found out, she was hurt but saw where Dev was coming from. 

It's getting abstract. So bear with me. 

To share her pregnancy news or not was Dev's ex-wife's decision. But his lover owed him this news. With me?

Through all these scenes Dev's introspection was portrayed. And the conclusion is that at a deeper subconscious level Dev the lover understands what went wrong. As a result of that, he was able to "protect" his love from Ishwari's manipulations. She made a lot of sense. Dev, the ex-husband, doesn't know that his ex wife isn't looking to move on. But the lover in him, who is pure, fought back. He bled his heart out and said it's hurts to see sonakshi's move on. The ex husband can see that soha is sona's daughter but the lover refuses to acknowledge because he knows that sonakshi the lover would tell him this news.

For Sonakshi, it's not very straightforward. The lover sonakshi thinks marriage is a scam. She has nothing at the moment for his lover and ex-husband. She still has to nurse the wounds inflicted by her marriage. She is protecting herself from well meaning family and friends. All through her marriage the only "thing" that could protect her was Dev's love. Because she had soha alongside her in the last 7 years, she has been able to protect herself from the institution of marriage. Again undertones of season 1. 

Also there was no Asha today. She is the only one who gets devakshi. Devakshi are starting to fight their own battle.

Why am I getting the feeling that XGKB and her black will try to murder Suhana ?

Also Ishwari has stooped so low that she needs an 880 volt electric shock. But then also she might say that if Sona had not dumped Dev, poor vicky might not have nursed the illusion that Golu can inherit Dev's property.

@Shaavi and yyy ...agree wid ur discussion but in that where does mami n vicky fit ..i mean they will never want dev to get married coz getting marroed means getting a chance to have a kid of their own n by their conversation today dey dont want it ...so may b dey will in their quest to stop dev's marriage may tell him the truth ...or even sona in a heat of moment may blurt out if ishwari goes behind dev's back

i too feel the same ...may be not murder but dey ll definitely try to harm her and keep dev away from knowing that shez his daughter ...dev's attack was brished under the carpet coz dev felt dose people were robbers but if anything happens wid suhana it wont b brushed

Really great going here.I am enjoying all the posts here.

I have doubt about the new girl coming for Dev.

Ishwari will be happy to find a girl for Dev but I think maami and Vicky won't be happy. Because if Dev marries then their plan of Golu becoming waris will be in jeopardy. Maami and Vicky want Dev to be more of a nomadic so that he won't come to office or home.If they come to know about Suhana, will Vicky try to harm Suhana?

And then Ishwari ki to band bajegi, when Dev finds out that Sona and Jatin are not a couple.😆😆

How will he take the lady's manipulation this time?

I am glad Dev did not came to the conclusion that Soha being Sona's daughter just because she also shares the last name Bose. According to Dev, Sona can't be mom. Not sure, he paid any attention to Jatin's last name, when his employee was giving info about Jatin. I can say, it is easy to forget. Moreover, Dev was angry at that time.

When Soha said his mom also says perfect, Dev had surprise look on his face. Dev was actually thinking Sona came to school to meet Jatin's daughter. Dev will definitely think about Soha if he comes to Soha is addressing Sona as mom.

Dev will be totally heartbroken when he realize that Soha his daughter. He will be more hurt knowing Sona hid this biggest truth from 7 years.

Seeing Sona-Jatin-Soha, I was thinking Dev will come to know the truth. I wasn't disspointed, because wanted to see more bonding between Soha and Dev before he comes to know the truth.

I was not connected with Soha character earlier. But now I am just loving Soha and Dev's chemistry just like Dev with Golu. Soha's face just lights up when she is with Dev. I will definitely give credit to Shaheer. He is so effortless with kids. I am just loving Dev scenes with Golu and Soha. I just keep playing them on repeat.
