Sonakshi's secret- Soha.

I was browsing through the forum and I saw a lot of people discussing about Soha's wish to see her father and how wrong Sonakshi is in keeping her away from her own father. This reminded me of Sona's dialogue in yesterday's episode:

I agreed with u but Don't u know that no logic applied for Sona to justify her action.When Cvs also didn't bother to show Sona's condition after divorced by dev.How she Survived without shelter,without money,being badly shattered all her hopes.Cvs is only bother how Mataji nd her beta suffered.In KRPKAB All the sympathy nd justification is applicable for Dev dixits.I think Soha will also don't mind after knowing everything about dev nd his various types of Ex gf.After all soha will get so many Mommas for playing.

I m of the opinion that Sonakshi was justified in not telling dev about Soha 7 yrs back. She would still be justified had she stayed away from Delhi , Dev Dixit. What transpired between the estranged couple and fault finding is not going to help. Both Sonakshi n a Dev despite his Cassanova image appear to be stuck in that ill fated night n have not moved an inch. So r continuously trying to pull each other down dev as his nature is the creator which Sonakshi is giving back. The boss house environment around mere mention of dev becomes so suffocating that now even Soha puts on a facade. Sonakshi is doing same to Soha what Bijoy did to her, a bar to live up to.

More than her self respect, she clearly feels that the Dixit family is not a good environment for her kid. Not with an obsessed mother in law and blind follower husband. (She doesn't know that Dev and his mother are estranged now). When Dev couldn't take a stand for his wife, how could she even expect Dev to take a stand for her kid in front of his mother?

I don't think Sonakshi has any good reason to tell Dev about Soha. She raised Soha on her own when Dev threw her out of house, not just Dixit mansion but also from her father's house. And granted that was a misunderstanding but Dev never bothered to find out where they were all these years. Jab gussa thanda hua hoga, tab toh closure ke liye jana chahiye tha na Sonakshi ke pass?

Sonakshi is doing what she thinks is sane and right for her kid. Keeping her away from a toxic family. It's certainly not ideal since Soha doesn't get her father's share of love, or doesn't get to know her father. But she has definitely raised a good and moral kid instead of a liar and a bully. And waise bhi kabhi kisi ko mukkamal jahan nahi milta, kabhi zameen toh kabhi aasmaan nahi milta. :P As far as Soha's zameen goes, it is pretty stable and balanced.

Sonakshi by staying so close to dev and both involve in mudslinging how long can she protect her secret. Invariably it's matter of time dev will most definitely know abt Soha. So should not she maturely handle the transpired situation n introduce father n daughter n let Soha decide. Mean legally she will get custody so donot understand her fear. Dev with his history y does she fear losing Soha.her daughter has started putting in facade she notices it but chose to ignore.

Dont worry about the posts, because it also says Bijoy is equal to Ishwari 🤣

Now let's look back into the past, Sonakshi has always been straightforward about what she wanted and what she felt. She (mostly) stayed away from keeping secrets from her loved ones (including Dev). So why is she keeping Soha a secret? Let's go back in the past again.

Dev has always been portrayed as a person who can do anything for the benefit of his loved ones. He doesn't think about the consequences of his actions, he just thinks about the well being of 'his' family. Sonakshi knows that too well.

Secondly, Dev had put up a clause of not taking care of their kid after divorce (according to Sonakshi)

Thirdly, Ishwari was obsessed with the idea of having a grandkid.

Fourth, Dev was a blind follower of Ishwari and according to Sonakshi he might not support his kid in front of Ishwari.

Let's come back to the present.

After knowing all those things from the past, any mother would think that the obsessed guy and his obsessed mother will try to snatch her kid away as soon as she tells them about her. Sonakshi has all the reasons to think that telling Dev about Soha is not really a good idea because Dev can cross all limits of obsession to get the custody of Soha. Will Soha accept a father who can try to separate her from her mother? I don't think so.

Why Sonakshi decided to go ahead with the pregnancy is a point to consider. She is a woman and motherhood is divine. Why sacrifice a child for the parents shortcomings! I respect her for that decision. Her surajmukhi made it clear that she was lost and depressed and didn't know what to do with her life, when Suhana (alias Suraj) came along. She finally got a reason to live. This clearly shows that Sonakshi felt cheated by Dev and took time to come out of this depression!! However, why she chose to keep Suhana away from Dev (minus his family) is not clear yet. Creatives may stumble upon a completely different explanation. 😃 She owes an explanation to Dev because he accepted her openly, loved her, respected her. His only shortcoming or weakness was Ishwari. Would Dev be a terrible father? Can Sonakshi claim that? Definitely not. It's only circumstances and other peoples interference that killed a beautiful relationship.

It's not late. Suhana likes her father. Her kiss on the drawing gave ample proof of that. If and when they meet, I look forward to Dev becoming his old self. Sonakshi, on the other hand, needs to realise that Dev is a changed man. What happened that night and the forces that separated them has to come out in the open. Then, Sonakshi can finally decide as a mother, if Dev deserves Suhana. Dev, on the other hand, has already started questioning Ishwari's motives. He needs to give Sonakshi, the benefit of doubt, about why Sonakshi didn't trust him enough to tell him about the joy in their lives - little Khargosh!
