Some people get the hint. Some people need to be knocked on the head multiple times to get the hint and they still don't.
Dev is still trying to buy Sonakshi. Honestly, didn't he taunt Sonakshi for lack of business sense yesterday? If a product is not in the market that means it's not for sale. BASIC BUSINESS SENSE, sorry basic COMMON SENSE.
Why waste precious time by being an ass to the seller? That will only make her more adamant not to sell the product.
Here's an idea from a not-at-all rich business person, yours truly, but with common sense.
Say I want to buy something and the seller doesn't want to sell.
I will offer them extra money plus alternate product (alternate, equally better, prime location) so that they happily accept the deal. I will also be polite and respectful and above board so that they don't hold back the product just to spite me.
But then, I am not Dev Dixit.
I have common sense.
Sonakshi obviously refuses. Duh!!!
Sonakshi does puja and Dev is of course still hanging there. Her colleague asks her to give a speech. Sonakshi first refuses but then gives a speech encouraging them to face new challenges. They all cheer for their boss.
Since Dev is still standing there (Me: Honestly, is he planning to join Sonakshi's company? Even a job applicant doesn't hang out around the office premises as much), Sonakshi gives him sweet for him and his colleagues. Dev is surprised.
See, Sonakshi and I are very different. I'd have told him to get out and stay out. But see, how politely Sonakshi is behaving? Ab yeh mat kehna, ladki mein manners nehin hain. Khana khilake bheja.
Asha meets Ishwari. Ishwari doesn't say anything and walks away. Asha expected she will speak to her.
Me: Seriously, Asha? This is the woman who made your daughter cry day after day, called your husband a thief and a lier and you expect her to offer you sweets? Is loyalty a foreign concept for you?
You know, Bijoy deserves a better wife than you.
Anyways, Ishwari is disturbed after seeing Asha. Radha incites her. Ishwari bad mouths Sonakshi again. Blah blah, same old drama.
Me: Baithe baithe kya karein, karna hain kuch kaam.
Shuru karo Sonakshi ki burai, leke Dev prabhu ka naam.
Moving on, Mamaji thinks this is divine intervention to re-unite two families.
Me: Wah re double dholki. Kaam ke waqt silence aur jab koi jaroorat nehin, tab ulta hi bajna hota hain.
Tere muh mein keere, tere muh mein dhool.
Radha scolds Mamaji. For a change I agree with Radha. Mamaji, aap to chup hi rahiye.
Ishwari agrees to stay away from Bose family.
Me: Promise? Pakka promise? Dev ki promise?
Bijoy is happy that Sonakshi stood up against Dev and feeling extra proud. Asha wants to talk about her BFF Ishwari who didn't talk to her. Bijoy tells her not to talk about her.
On the other hand, stalker Dev is peeking through the hole while Sonakshi is working. Wait, wasn't there a similar scene in Darr where Shahrukh Khan was spying on Juhi?
Umm... Creepy!!!
Dev's employee asks him to cover the hole. Dev refuses because apparently he keeps his eyes on his enemy more than his friends.
Me: Really? So when is your Khatri and Ranveer shift, Dev? Do you go at their place at night?
Sonakshi is working late. So Dev is staring.
His employees ask why he is still there. Dev says that they used to complaint when he didn't used to come to office. Now they are complaining that he is in the office.
He asks them to switch off the lights and leave.
Sonakshi also tells her employees the same and she continues working without knowing that someone is out there peeking at her.
Me: So Sonakshi, why don't you charge Dev pay-per-view. You will earn so much money that you will be able to open in foreign locations.
Precap: Sonakshi gets a call from Soha who asks her mother to come back home to her daughter. Sonakshi says sorry and promises to leave soon. Dev barges in and grabs her phone and holds it in his ear. Sonakshi screams his name.
P.S. Haven't seen the episode yet. When I watch it will respond in details. Lunch date with colleague. Sorry.
NOTE: Thank you to all of you for my birthday wishes. Now here's the birthday gift I'd like to have. Pretty please with chocolate sprinkles on top.
As many of you know, my mother-in-law (who is not like Ishwari, but more like Dida) was suffering from cancer. Today is her final surgery. So please pray for her to get well.
She thinks I am lucky for her since last time I told her that she will beat cancer and she did (she is very superstitious). So of course, she chose my birthday to schedule her final surgery. I don't know how I feel about that. 😕
I really, really hope she gets better. I'd like to have her around for many years.
