Only time will tell

Now we understand as much as dev was wrong in never speaking clearly for sona in front of his family, sona too never actually told him the taunts from ma and mami. This had started from very first day... Ishwari had told her to avoid but she decided to do the puja. Then when she messed up she never shared what dadi bua said or ishwari had said to dev. From then the more she tried to fit into the family the more taunts came her way... But she actually never put it into words for dev. Remember even when after the ayan lunch fiasco... Dev had come to her to speak then too she had said it doesn't matter it didn't hurt etc.

At the time the infertility truth, I remember we all wanted a moment where sona finally broke down. So what did that mean? We knew she was keeping it all in her and he wanted her to show her emotions to dev.

This I think had been hinted from day one... Remember her crying in front of the mirror the first day of marriage...she had said this situation too she will fight and will win over. She won't give up. So probably she had taken this up as a challenge...due to which complaining or talking about it to dev would been she hasn't been able to live up to it? Who knows na, the human mind is a complex thing.

And the final straw came after the money fiasco...she completely shut dev out. She didn't talk to him, not did she say what she was doing, nor did she let him talk to her Baba.

Them we all including me thought that was for her self respect.. Only now do we realise from dev's perspective it was her leaving him. If only they had talked then...rhings would have been different today.

I just hope this time... Once misunderstandings from both sides are cleared both sit down to talk about these issues.
