Hey DQ! You're probably right but I think she was never made to feel a part of the house. And that was the whole problem. She couldn't even make their bedroom her own as was seen in the Jhula track

@Rekha: The ideal reaction for Sona would have been not to take Dev's "get out" to mean permanently. But as we know, her pride has always been her greatest weakness and that was the last straw in a series of incidents that tested it. Even when the break-up happened, Dev called her a few hours later when he had calmed down. Things could have gone very differently if she given him a fair hearing in that phone call but she had already shut him out completely after he humiliated her in the hospital. Later, they were saved from a lot of such situations by Asha, who guided Sona to be patient and empathetic with a Dev who was still learning how to manage his relationships. Dev similarly had Mamaji, but he was a much less influential force than Asha.
And I agree with @IFfreak that it was unfair to expect Sona to keep a cool head in that situation. What I really wish was that instead of begging and pleading with Ishwari, Mamaji had taken charge of the situation. He should have physically stopped Sona from leaving and told her to wait in her room. Then he should have turned his attention to Dev, and let him break down or whatever he needed to feel better and left the sisters to watch him. Then he should have gone personally to the Boses and apologised for Ishwari and GKB's accusations. What that situation needed was one rational adult, and nobody stepped up. Of course, the CVs' chose this outcome out of all the different ways this situation could have worked out and still been in character so I see what you mean.
Just finished watching the episode.
Shimla on Steroids
I am sure everyone noticed the happy Dev that his mother and mama noticed. I am glad that one came out in the washing really early on.
Dev now has simple solutions to simple problems. Not enough space for the clothes. Get a new closet. There are people watching you, pay them and get them out of the way. The guy has done some serious introspection.
And he learnt his lesson about locking the doors too. Wrong side though Dev. We are waiting for the day you lock it from the correct side because these eye-locks have made us all jump with joy. Or me atleast.
Sonakshi, you silly woman... RR is NOT your mamiji. You don't learn. Did you not hear your ex-husband call your dad Mr Bijoy Bose and quite rightly? Atleast call her aunty! I loved your response to her though. That bewildered look along with Dev's jibe with the Green Tea and the BP pills was so cool. I wish Bijoy had the presence of mind to ask Dev, "Bhatije, kaise ho"?
Dev has really loosened up. He is casually able to beckon his gloomy mother from her room and she is even scared of being happy. In Season 1, the halwa would have been on the burner already.
Elena, I am beginning to love you again. Lage raho... Golu ke chote dimag main everything wenting in (I was trying to speak RR brand English). It's going to all come out one day
The dig about theft was hurtful but that was meant to be...
