Omg that was ridiculous. a grown ass man saying he will teach a lesson to a kid say what? even my mom said sarcastically 'wah beta wah'😆🤢maybe he won't do anything, but even talking like that is plain wrong. golu is as good as orphan, he's being baby sitted by another big egoistic 6 year old.
ishwari is one giant narcissicistic which she passed through dev. actually we need stronger word, obsession also is inadequate. everything revolves around them, everyone out to get them. poor poor D family, such victims. common sense and logic says 7 year is a big time for self realization and reflection. LOL what's that for D world? His ego is so hurt, sorry if people think that's love. if that's love then I hope I never get it, it's frightening. then vicky comes and he gives him authority to do as he pleases. cause his male ego got hurt sonakshi bose getting her way and getting bigger than him, how dare she eh? the things he said to ishwari is absolute bullshit, if it was another man or woman buying his property he would not create so much trouble. precap is another disgusting. I keep getting amazed at how low he continues to stoop.👏

LOL I never saw bio's action like the way you said. The kind of man he is, even if he had gotten a bad review from publishing house he would not have told asha that. I found it sweet but you are right. He's not at ishwari level yet but he does need to tone down. Actually i get him, like sona giving freedom to soha he also once gave, but got burnt badly. now he don't want a repeat of that and dev coming in front of sona is biggest nightmare for him.

Thank you. Yes, Dev and Ishwari have kept leeches in their house. They should not be surprised to see that they are draining their blood. That's what leeches do. Expecting them to grow banana in their backyard will be stupidity, no?

Sportsmanship - Fair behaviour and dealing with one's opponent in a sports setting (but can also be in any contest)

Why sportsmanship? Because "Bahut ho gayee pehelwani, ab Dangal hoga."

The battle lines are drawn. The handshake is done. Let the battle begin...

May the best person win!!!

Episode starts with Ishwari instigating Dev saying, Sonakshi bought that office to pull Dev down. She is trying to be his equal.

Really, Ishwari?

First of all, you have such a over-inflated idea of your and your son's importance in other people's life, no? You actually think the whole world just think about you and your son from sun up to sun down and then throughout the night.

Secondly, trust me Ishwari. Sonakshi is not trying to be Dev's equal. Because then she will have to get down to his level. She is already in far better condition than the puppet you broke by trying to squeeze it too hard.

May be, just may be, consider this for a moment that Sonakshi doesn't give eff about any of you any more because for her you two don't even matter enough to waste her time sparing you a thought, let alone plotting your downfall.

But Dev, as usual in 2.0 self, ignores her advice and tells her not to think about it so much.

Yes Ishwari, take his advice and mind your business.

Bijoy, do you realise that you are turning into Dev? You sent Asha's novel secretly to a publisher.

It's good that it is good enough to be published and she is thankful. But what if the publisher had sent a scathing letter to Asha telling her that her novel is worthless? How would she feel? Will she appreciate you going behind her back?

What is with the husbands of TV show who think they can go behind their wives' back for "their own good" and it makes it all right?

Am I the only one who thinks that it's my right as an individual of sound mind to take my own decisions and I know what is good for me better than what other people perceive is good for me?

Good intention doesn't justify going behind people's back. Does it?

Any way, Asha is definitely not me and she is overjoyed with the result.

They call Sonakshi to share the good news and Sonakshi tells them about their office space. Bijoy gets upset to know that Sonakshi and Dev will be working together but Asha calms him down.

I think like Ishwari's boogeyman is Sonakshi, Bijoy's is Dev. Nothing scares him more than Dev coming back into Sonakshi's life and hurt her again.

Soha comes to home and tells her mother how she faced a tough situation with her intelligence. Sonakshi asked her if she wants Sonakshi to talk to the principal so that it doesn't happen again? Soha tells her that she is not a little girl. She can handle her own problems. Sonakshi is so proud of her. And so am I.

That deserves a standing ovation. Sonakshi gave a choice to her daughter if she needs her help. She denied it. Sonakshi let her handle her own problem knowing very well that Soha knows that her mother always has her back whenever she needs her.

On the other hand, Golu tells his uncle to come and "fix" his problem like always. He got insulted by a girl in the class. So Dev says how dare a 6 year old girl insult Golu. He will personally bring his 30 year old to teach a 6 year old girl a lesson. After all, man's pride relies on teaching a girl a lesson by calling a stronger and bigger man to intimidate the said girl.

#SLOW CLAP

Dev, go ahead. Try to teach Soha a lesson. I am pretty sure the lesson she will teach you, you won't forget in a lifetime. Sonakshi didn't raise puppets, she raised a strong and confident girl.

Dev comes to office and as per the pre-cap scene, congratulates Sonakshi and extends his hand. After pondering, Sonakshi shows excellent professional behaviour and shakes his hand.

I actually could hear the bell ringing of a wrestling arena. But that may be because Dangal fever is still ringing in my head.

I skipped over Radha and Ishwari's scene. So sorry, no comment in there.

Anyways, the door guy asks Sonakshi what name he should put on her door. Sonakshi says Sonakshi first. Then remembering her father's insult, she asks to put Sonakshi Bijoy Bose.

Not sure what's the significance unless she wanted to be a loyal daughter like Dev Ishwari Dixit, but whatever.

Apparently that was significant for Dev, he shatters a cup. At that rate, he will shatter all cookware in his home and office.

Question though. Did Dev expect Sonakshi to continue to use his name after getting divorced? Mad or what?

He goes back in his office and thinks about their break up.

By the way, doesn't he have girls to chase, life to live, things to do? But nope. He is right there. He even might start coming to office more regularly. His workplace now has more interesting views.

Vicky gets a mouthful again. Dev's biggest problem is that he has to see Sonakshi.

Umm... Actually you don't have to, Dev. You don't come to office anyway. So who cares? It will also be useful if you stay on your side of the office. Sonakshi is making it easier for you by building a wall. If you stop hanging around her side, I am sure she will do her very best to avoid your presence.

Anyways, Vicky has an idea to get rid of Sonakshi. Dev tells him that if he is successful, he will give him 100% of his complete wealth.

Now, I wrote in Doctor's post that there is a reason gun laws are so important. You put weapons of destruction in the hand of the immoral, unethical, incompetent, untrustworthy slimes who can stoop to any level, they will not only target your enemy, but will turn around and shoot you as well.

Dev, you just handed an weapon to the loose cannon Vicky to target Sonakshi. Don't blame others when he turns the weapon on you and throws your entire family on the street to remind you where you came from which you forgot in your arrogance. But knowing you, you will blame someone else anyway.

On second thought, do hand over weapon in his hand. In fact, transfer all of your property to Vicky. I will meanwhile, give a call to Karma that her prep work is done.

Vicky and Radha plot to use Elena against Sonakshi. They might be able to. Elena is not particularly bright to start with.

Bijoy and Asha reach Delhi. Sonakshi goes to help them leaving her assistant Paromita in charge. Dev flirts with Paromita who gets floored in front of her boss. Sonakshi tartly asks Paromita to get back to work.

Dev is happy because he thinks Sonakshi is jealous.

Sonakshi, one advice to you. Fire that girl. If she is flirting on the job in front of her boss, she will also hand over your company secrets to him. So hire a man or a woman with better professional attitude and loyalty.

Precap: Dev smashes Sonakshi's nameplate with a sledgehammer. Lagta hain naam mein bahut kuch rakhha hain jo abhi bhi mere samajh mein nehin aa raha hain. Someone kindly enlighten me.

i laughed a lot while watching the episode.. got my entertainment worth.. then read your post and got a double potion of entertainment.. it was a joy to read the indepth analysis.. probably better than what the CV's themselves had envisioned.. i think you give them far too much credit dear.. do they deserve all this analysis?

Seriously!! Agree @ Bold.

I can't even begin to talk about the coincidences & extent of illogical sequences in this story - In a city as BIG as Delhi, same school, same roads, same hotel, same office 🥱 And SAME DICK SHITS 😡What is repeatedly mentioned as Office Building, is actually the same office space being shared? 😕 The ONLY thing UNCHANGED is the CLASS & SHITTY MENTALITY of DIXITS. I thought money makes one mingle with people of your own status and one ought to learn something from people around them. NO?!! 😕 How did Dev manage to build this empire? All based on bullying? Does he have an official underworld business or what? I can't fathom ANY LOGIC that CVs are trying to dish out!

Yesterday's was the 1st episode post leap that I watched because I just couldn't resist watching the clash of titans 😛 Tia 👏 for the title and analysis as always! And watched it 4 times 😳😆 You know kaleje me thandak and all ...😃
But I knew the very next day all viewers will be brought down with a bang and that's exactly what happened today, looks like 😔

KUCH RANG ...

1. confusion ke
2. low class / shitty mentality ke
3. Screwed up bringing ke
4. Hatred ke
5. Ghatiyapan ke
6. Greediness ke
7. Discrimination ke
8. Bad vs Good parenting ke
9. Tashan ke
10.LOVE ke ????? 😕😕

Hi Tia,

I don't want to talk about Ishwari at all. I am beyond feeling things like confusion / anger / disgust. Now I am just plain tired. I don't want to see her scenes. I don't want to hear her dialogues.

Now there is this buzz that once Dev comes to know about his daughter, he will fight for custody and Ishwari will support him. Back to square one?? Thanks but no thanks.

The precap - what was he breaking?? The name plate or the wall?? Because his words had been something along the lines of - I know we couldn't live together but now that we're getting the chance, why leave it!! And he aimed and hit the name plate. So he doesn't want the wall separating their offices or he doesn't want that particular name plate?

Seriously... if the CVs are aiming for these two to get back together again, they are taking a pretty screwed up way to go about it. But again... why am I complaining!! Indian TV show and logic should not be used in one sentence.

Honey, this is not the first time CVs made mockery out of critical issues. Remember the infertility track? There are lot of women who went through break up, had ex turned stalker/vindictive/both, women going through infertility, women being ill treated by in-laws etc. All relevant issues.

When you show a social issues on screen, you will have to show justice being done and punishment for their behaviour. Glorifying a social issue because hero is doing it (or even if heroine is doing it) is irresponsible for any media - be it newspaper, tv, social media, movies etc.

However, I am sorry that you are getting hurt watching this. I understand that when someone has gone through personal pain, it's not easy to accept this as an entertainment.

this is one of the perks of feminism. Real feminists, don't expect males to provide ...

Anyhow, the serial has got through my thick hide and is disturbing my serenity. Have faced such imposing boyfriends after break up and they can't understand a simple no.
Do the CVs know they are scratching the still bleeding wounds of many women by making dev act like such a jerk

Dev, I think is beyond redemption at this point. The level of his narcissism is the result of Ishwari's "special" treatment for him which he continued to expect from his wife.

How many times we have heard women complaint that their husbands constantly compare them to their mother and they always fall short?

That's the problem with Mamma's boy. They are brought up that way reinforced with the idea that their mother can do no wrong and because their mother said so, they can't do any wrong.

The same is applicable to Daddy's girl who behaves the same way and expects special treatment or pampering because Daddy used to do that.

Either of these people can't be a good life partner because in a relationship, specially a marriage, both sides are equal. No one deserves more than the other.

Lol... Thank you. It's not for CVs, Mr. Das. It's for my own peace of mind. Consider this a way for me to vent out my frustration... Fortunately, I have people to read my frustration and vent theirs as well. 😆

Yes, as you said battle lines are drawn and may the best one wins.

Till y'day I too thought that Sona is in far better condition than Dev in this battle, but today I think it turned upside down. coz, it looks like Sona is still not yet over of that blind love for Dev.
Don't know why, today it gave me the feel like Sona is not yet over of him and dare to repeat her mistake of quick patch up again. Atleast this time, wish to see strong Sona who won't melt so soon to forgive his mistakes.

On other side, from y'day episode I really doubt CVs by the way they are showing Dev - is his redemption.
i.e., by showing Dev is behind all this to correct the mistakes in his life. He is the one to take full control and make them straight and at last CVs may try to show him as a hero at the end.

Like,
1. Dev may took this 7yrs to settle his family and remove his dependencies from his family i.e., he is no longer the old Dev who is the main provider of the entire family.

2. Dev may took this 7yrs to detach from his mom's usual love and special bond. And may be in practice to develop normal mom and son relationship. e.g., their old bond of treating Ish as God is missing. - So he is no more mamma's boy.

3. Dev knows his mom's insecurities due to Sona, so again he may be in process to treat her.
e.g., asking her not to give more importance to Sona, telling her that Sona didn't affect him etc.
- So he is no more spineless.

4. Ishwari's one of the compliant on Sona is being gold digger. But Dev strongly replied that now she is rich enough to buy his property for market price. - So may be Dev tries to remove Ish's wrong impression on Sona that she was after money.

5. Dev may or may not know about Soha. But when he claims for her custody he may again get chance to prove that Sona is a good mom to Soha[may be from Sona's way of dealing the custody matter and her upbringing of Soha etc.]

6. Dev is again trying to win back Sona's love in his own ways. - So he himself into action without his mom's help or anyone, to prove he can face problems and not the one to run away from the problems.

7. Dev may or may not be behind Sona's success in this 7yrs, but if so, it may be his plan to help Sona indirectly, may be his plan to bring her back to Delhi for award function and to fix her business etc. which maybe his move to win her back, to patch up with her.

8. No idea about his casual relationships and Casanova look.😕 May be to show that he is not the same old serious type person but just a cool guy.

The thing is CVs may show that Dev is trying all his ways to fix the problem and unite his family. What can be more than this for his redemption?? Isn't the easy way for CVs to redeem him and end the story with happy note??

All my prediction w.r.to this show turned false, wish this too. lol.. 😆
