I personally love nothing better than watching a strong woman standing firm and not backing down.
Well, Vicky sold half of Dev's office building because he was worried that he will loose money (the same section where trading division used to be). How did he do it? Well, Dev signed 49% of his share to Vicky. But innocent Dev didn't really mean to sign the deal. He just wanted a puppet who do as he is told when he was handing over 49% of his share to Vicky. (Hummm... same MO. Just like he totally respects and admires women who speak their mind as long as they do as they are told by him and his mother and never speak against them).
But that's not his fault. Nope. Dev is never at fault. It's Vicky's fault. He is the villain. It's good that CVs told us that Dev is the hero, no? Otherwise, I'd be so confused.
However, Dev should really stop signing legal document with convenient interpretation of terms. Legal documents don't follow Dixit ideology to modify as per his convenience, naa.
Anyhoo, Vicky tries to cancel the deal. But Sonakshi refuses to back down.
So Dev tells the agent that his brother made a mistake and obviously his client took advantage of him. The agent clarified that whatever price his brother asked for, his client paid.
Dev finds out that Sonakshi bought half of his building. So he wants the business deal reversed (just like he got his mistakes reversed).
Sonakshi replies that isn't it typical of him to take a decision and not sticking to it?
So Dev says she must be doing this because after she was so hurt with old wounds, he gave her a new wound by snatching her award (So Dev knew how much he hurt her, yet he continued to blame her. But why am I surprised? He also knew how much his mother was hurting her. He always knew everything, yet did nothing. Poor Dev, so misunderstood. He really truly loved Sonakshi. After all don't we just relish the pain of our so-called loved ones?)
LOVED Sonakshi's response, "Aww... So kiddish." She is there to work not to ponder over past. 👏
Really, Dev sounded like a kid who gave away his toy and now he wants it back because he made a boo boo.
She also told him that he found out that this is his property 15 mins back. So Dev does what he does best - tries to buy her off.
Now let me ask you, what kind of business man is he? If he could not buy Sonakshi when she was a middle class woman, what makes him think he can buy her now when she is as rich as him? I mean he just sounds as stupid in front of Sonakshi as smart he sounds in front of Vicky. But then Vicky is an idiot, may be that's why.
He offers to pay 30% more and buy back. Sonakshi refuses and tells his team to vacate her office or she will take legal option.
So Dev challenges Sonakshi that he will make her stay "special" in his office building. Awww... doesn't he look cute as a sore loser threatening his opponent?
And because Dev is "cool" now, he has to show what a macho man he is by saying to a professional woman that she still looks beautiful when she is angry. Yes, he is such a professional.
Threats, demands, bribe, charm - Dev applied them all, but Sonakshi doesn't even flinch or back down. Hail Queen!!!
So now he will play the game he really knows how to play - the dirty, underhanded game.
Dev goes home and blasts Vicky saying his convenient interpretation of legal terms. Tsk tsk, Dev. Next time think before you sign a deal and put your trust on slimes, okay? But I doubt you will learn the lesson even this time. Because like you think, I am sure it's NEVER your fault even when you handed over half of your company to incompetent manager. .
Of course Ishwari thinks Sonakshi, the schemer must have taken advantage of poor innocent Vicky and bought the building for cheap. Dev tells her that she bought it at fair market price. Ishwari is shocked to find out Sonakshi is so rich.
So Dev tells her that she is rich now, might not be later. Yes, of course Dev. Just like you went from rolling in gutter to rolling in wealth, but you might have to roll in gutter again. I really hope one day you get a nice long visit with Karma for all the people whose livelihood you jeopardised in the name of business despite knowing the pangs of hunger and poverty. Because guess what? Karma believes in equality.
Good to see how much a self-made man respects a self-made woman. You are such a great human being. Don't worry, the praise for your awesomeness is always ready.
Ishwari tells Dev to leave his space so that he doesn't has to face Sonakshi. Dev ignores her and tells Ishwari how Sonakshi doesn't affect him anymore... blah blah blah...
Precap: Sonakshi gives possession letter to Dev. Dev tells her why does she think that he is there to create problems? (Ah, because that's your past history, may be?). Sonakshi always misunderstands him. He is there to congratulate her and holds his hand for handshake which Sonakshi ignores (until end of precap).
