Love brings up our unresolved feelings . One day we are feeling loved , and the next day we are suddenly afraid to trust love .
The painful memories of being rejected begin to surface when we are faced with trusting and accepting our partner's love ."
John Gray, Men Are from Mars, Woman are from Venus

Dev Dixit 2.0 Is trying a new Persona?
What is it?
Is it living for oneself?.
Is it Intimidation, Is it cry for help?..is it genuinely trying to move on?
Is this just a facade?

Sona Bose 2.0 is trying a new persona.
What is it?
Is it living in reality?
, is it giving back as good as one could get?,is it crying to be understood?..is it genuinely trying to move on?
Is this just a Facade?

Easwari 1.0 she seems to be the same as 1.0...just with a sadder face and gray wardrobe..what will bring Easwari 2.0...will anything?

Are Suhana and Golu the leveling ground?...

Suhana seems to be strong...Golu seems to be sensitive

Does children alone make a marriage work?

This is purely from a discussion point...because in reality Men and Woman are wired differently..but basically they want the same things acceptance, love and respect.

Let us discuss this purely from a character perspective...I Just want to know if the writer of this show has any purpose in why they took this so called leap..because I am clueless..other than let us run the show little longer as the story seems to be going in circles

Sabita, as usual, crisp and meaningful post.

i am in the same boat as you are with respect to the leap.. i am still clueless and am trying to find a clue as to what brought about this leap. there were so many open tracks in the first season.. and all seems completely forgotten now.

I am really trying hard to understand version 2.0 of all characters.

Ishwari is Ishwari - kutte ki dum.. whether it is 7 or 14 or 21 years, she will remain the same. I think unless some significant event comes up, i doubt if she will change. So she is by far the most easy to understand.

Sona - Yes, she was hurt, carried Dev's child, bore the child, reared the child, found her own identify and strength to confront the rich, famous and arrogant.. But why on earth will she want to come closer to Dev in almost all things? What message is she trying to convey? Does she want Dev to know about Soha? Does she want Dev to know about how his hurting her has turned out for her good? If she has moved on, she could have got hitched on to another man - after all who won't fall for a beautiful, successful and rich woman.. No clues yet. ( but we all know what could be the real reason)

Dev - Yes, he lost all. He must be the one in the most remorse, especially for what he did to Sona. Yet, he holds her responsible for his current state. He claims that his state is one of freedom and he lives for himself.. But it does not look like he is living for himself. For if he was, he would be married and settled down by now. No clues yet. ( But we all know what could be the real reason)

Soha and Golu - they showed Soha as 6 years and Golu as around 4 years. Yet they are in the same class.. Did Elena also conceive around the same time that Sona did? if so what a convenient coincidence!!!

Mamaji - the most enigmatic personality of the show.

All said an done, it is just about 2 weeks since the leap.. probably we need to wait for some more time to decipher the reason..

For now, we will have to believe what the makers and the channel have been telling.. to give the show a new look and feel and to breathe some freshness into the 11 months ( i never thought this theme could get stale..it had a lot of potential, but they made it look stale)

You are absolutely right. No matter which planet we are from, we all want love and to be loved, respect and to be respect and stand by our loved ones and have them stand by us.
And when we don't get it, it hurts. Worse, it makes us feel like fools for trusting the wrong person.

However, decent people grow up, pick them up, and move on.

Weak people blame others for their misery and wallow in self-pity.

That's the distinction between any human being regardless of gender.

Thanks for replying. After I posted this I watched today's episode and liked it..as a stand alone one.

Still unable to connect any dots or did not get any of my above questions answered..don't even know whether I will. Maybe I am asking too much from a show.

But I highly respect writers I think they are thinkers..and when they write they should have some reason for doing so and I was just trying to find it..

.because in reality Men and Woman are wired differently..but basically they want the same things acceptance, love and respect. sabita this got me thinking.

1. acceptance - from whom, are we talking about accepting ourselves the way we are or are we looking forward for external acceptance .

Dev V1 and Sona V1 craved for acceptance by the world/family

Dev:
Dev wanted to remain the ideal provider for the family. he limited his level of acceptance to being accepted by his mother. As long as ishwari accepted nothing else mattered to dev V1.

today V2 of Dev no longer limits his acceptance to his family, his radius has changed. his acceptance is limited to himself. As long as he is ok, nothing else matters. this is the primary difference in V1 and V2 of Dev.there is an ideological difference in V1 and V2 of Dev

Sona : both V1 and V2 0f sona are not very different from each other. both V1 and V2 of Sona looked for acceptance by family in general.
V1 of sona extended her family to the dixits whereas V2 of sona excludes the Dixits from her radar. But yes in both these version, Dev still remains an integral part. the only difference being in V1 sona accepted the factor called Dev 's whereas V2 of sona is in denial of the factor called dev.

LOVE: the craving for love in both the of is still the same, that has been the core for them and it will forever remain so. they still love each other to bits and pieces, it will just take some time for them to get through the initial thorns to get to the roses

Respect: both had respect for each other but the foundation for the respect was based on their merits alone. Today when the respect will come back to their relationship it will be for both their merits and demerits. They will be forced to learn to respect the spouse even for their demerits.
