😆 first time seeing popcorn post in here.
Btw in those early shows whenever it was shown that ML had ons then that girl would come back and say she's preggy, then after faltu ka angst it will be revealed he was pavitra and only had you know what with FL.

I don't see some members here. Now going through post I know why, no point.🐷 Hail the better flawed hero who will change only on the last epi. Or not.

It's not easy for dev to make understand his mother or even make understand sonakshi.
He loves both women and no one left any option for him..
Kisko choose kre wo...If he supported his mom then sona find something wrong in that or if he support his wife then his mother have problems.
U r jsut saying here like that...
Facing those things in real life is so tough for any person, u can never imagined that...

Yes, he has done mistake and he has some flaws in him but what u r saying is totally wrong and the word u r using here

Hey, I am not debating you! If you don't like anything please stay out of it. You have a right to state what you think is right and so do I. Okay? When you post and I don't like it, I don't comment. Please be courteous enough to do the same. I am not going to change your views and neither will you change mine. So who are you to state that I am wrong? Who gave you the right to say so, especially when I did not address you?

Lol.. Isn't in those shows hero said "sachha pyar ek baar hota hai '' and then they married 2-3 times and started falling in love again and again... what an insult of true love... Atleast in this show dev's love is true not like other shows

Mr. Das, let me tell you first how much I admire you. No one can blame you for pushing "Feminist" agenda (which some people equate with man-hating because if a woman is strong, confident, successful and doesn't take bull from anyone, she must be man hating), because you are a man.

Who can give a better perspective of a mother and son bond than a son? Who can talk about a balanced relationship than someone who has a mother and a wife and yet, shows his respect for both?

But you don't respect Dev and pointed his cowardliness many times. As a man you can't respect his selfishness and self-importance, yet so many of us can't.

I read in one of the comment that if a man is not a "Mamma's Boy", he must throw his mother out of the house for his wife.

Really? So basically loving and respecting his wife is equal to throwing his mother out of one's house?

A man who loves his mother is not a Mamma's boy, a man who does everything his mother says without considering anyone else's feelings like a puppet is a Mamma's boy.

Everyone loves their mother. Who doesn't? But I doubt any of us will keep silent knowing that our mother is mistreating our spouse under our own roof. At least I won't and I am a daughter of a single mother just like Dev.

So that makes me wonder why I won't tolerate anyone disrespecting my spouse, even my own mother who raised me alone and did more than Ishwari did for Dev without asking anything in return?

May be because I love both of them and respect both of them. I won't let any one of my relationship to interfere or disrespect the other. My husband doesn't need defending. But because the insult and disrespect came from my family, it's my job to defend him.

But then I am a woman and standing by my husband is my honour and duty and I have been told, a woman should put her husband above every relationship and most men expect the same. Dev did too when he kept expecting understanding for everyone of his lies, broken promises and lack of support. When I stand for my husband, no one will assume that I am throwing my mother out or I am a slave of my husband. But when a husband stands for his wife, he is throwing out his mother and he is definitely "Jodu ka Ghulam"...

If a husband doesn't do what he expects his wife to do, then he should not talk about love and respect for any of the relationship because loving someone doesn't mean glossing over their faults and respecting someone doesn't mean respecting their misdeeds.

A man who loves his mother will also show how great an upbringing he got from his mother by respecting his wife and defending her honour, a man who wants to make his mother proud will be the best husband to his wife so that she thanks his mother for raising an excellent man any woman will be lucky to have, a man who loves his mother DOES NOT lie to both his mother and his wife and watch while his relative blames his wife for his lies.

So when we call Dev Mamma's boy, there is a reason.

If someone tries to preach you about mother and son's bond, feel free to tell them that when they have fulfilled both responsibility of a son and husband as well as you did, then they can talk to you about how to be a good son and a husband and not hide behind excuses for their incapability to be either.

I have not seen any other hero on TV, other than Ram Kapoor, Rajeev Khandelwal, Ruslaan and Shaheer. I think as an actor and personality, shaheer is right there at the top...

Coming to Dev, is there any doubt? He is as spineless as one can get... bloody hell he could not win over Sona after the first break up. His mother had to intervene.. if he truly had the guts and the spine he would have done it himself...
