Hi, Suvi and Divya today my review will be in two parts. Sorry I didn't know it will be that long.😔
Longer the better. I love a good analysis. For a writer, I think, there can't be a greater compliment / motivating factor than this. So thank you SOOO much 🤗PART - 1
Dev was not having it anymore. He was not willing to forsake his daughter's happiness, even if it was going to hurt his mother. All his life the only thing he wanted was, to be a good son. But he had to lose his wife, his love to understand that agreeing to each and every tantrums and expectations of his mother will not make you a good son. But to be true to oneself and to every relationship upholding the values she taught is how a good son will be. I am so in love with this Dev.❤️
@ bold.. Couldn't have put it better myself Geena 👏
Ishwari had to accept defeat to the father in her son. But to know that she had a granddaughter who is 7 years old without once meeting her, knowing only her name that must have hurt her really deep, especially when Dev stood against her for his daughter. She would have meddled if she didn't have any doubt that Dev will be lost forever. She is a fighter by nature and loves to control. She will try again to get the control in her hands but I trust this Dev.
I loved Ishwari's introspection but was absolutely fascinated by Dev's thought process. "To wake someone up who is pretending to be asleep is impossible" This describes Ishwari to the "T". And that reaffirms Ishwari's thought process that they had understood each other without even speaking a word. No wonder he wanted to hide Sona from his mother and now Soha too.
When Ishwari asked " Main kya ithni parayi hogai"? I was like there she goes again.😆 But Dev was prepared and he needed to address the issue with his mother who has this habit of swallowing the pills in short order. Ye Dev tho bahuth sharp nikala. He made his mother spell out "sare rishthe apni jagah". But then for her to understand it has to be made about her.
That was just brilliant girls.👏
"Sonakshi bhi apni jagah hai na Dhi" Oh God if Ishwari didn't understand her son now she never will. Rula diya re😭
Her saying that a document cannot define the love and right of a parent was our old Ishwari, the one who gave importance to relations and tried her best to keep it. Saw her after a long time.⭐️ Her son will never blame her or betray her and will gladly accept all the blame. But she knows now that she was the one who ruined his life and she would have been able to take him blaming her but not this. That is the worst punishment she could have. Because she won't ever forget this nor would she take his silence for granted. In her own words "Jagath ki kaisi reeth hein. Jo dard dikhatah nahi hein, duniya samchthi hein ki use dukh hotha hi nahi". So she accepts to wait for Soha to come to her. She accepted her defeat gracefully.👏
I'll let Divya comment on Part one. It was handled by her. But will only add that Ishwari is not going to change overnight. But at least now Dev knows the issues. Experience has taught him some pretty bitter unforgettable lessons and he has learnt from them
PART-2 😃
Soha is now acting her age. Thanks to her papa. When Sonakshi gave him the pictures and videos of Soha's childhood, she gave him memories to cherish and shared their daughter's childhood. But Dev gave their daughter's childhood back. She is now showing tantrums, openly discussing her likes and dislikes and demanding things she wants. Her wanting butterflies on her walls, reminded me of Neha. But she has her mother's fairy tale notions too.
@ red... 👏 👏 👍🏼
Him going behind her back to get things done - I loved it. Glad to see the original one is still there. And even more importantly Sona understood his intentions, not taking it as anything other than what it really was.
Yeah. I had to make sure the original is not completely lost in our enthu to redeem him. 😆
Soha and Dev missing each other and expressing the same, without Sona having any insecurity warmed my heart. He trying to balance poor Golu and Soha at the same time was a testament to the hard learned lessons. Sonakshi let him do it his way not interfering or bossing around.
When Sonakshi called him to ask him to go for Soha's PT meeting, Dev waited for her to explicitly tell him what she expects. So now he is not taking anything for granted. No room for misunderstanding. Her screaming not on the bike was a nice touch. So relatable. Loved the dig at the teacher.
😆 Couldn't resist the bike comment and the teacher. I didn't like his flirting in front of Golu on the first day. 😵
Soha's never before appearing tantrums and Sona actually asking Dev's help. She indeed has come a long way too. Dev bribing his daughter- this Dev is so cute to resist.
Haina.. Nazar na lagjaay 😉😆
Soha and Sona in IN - even thinking about it leaves a bitter taste in mouth. But this was pure bliss. Dev's helplessness when he saw Sona reliving her last day in IN. Ishwari was only disappointed. Good for her. Their friendship peeking out after ages. That was where they started and that is where you ended their journey leaving it to us poor readers pitiable imaginations. But loved that they are still talking.
Yup. And this talk is what will take their relationship forward. As for poor readers' imaginations...I don't think they are pitiable at all. You all have pretty vivid ones. So enjoy. 😉 😆
P.S: Sorry, this is too long. I know. Well if you had given us an epilogue I wouldn't have tried to kill you with my review. I promise I will not beg or cajole to give us a next part for this. But epilogue tho bantha hein na. Nahi tho Divya where is my Neha O.S. Waiting
Epilogue?? No. I think we should go to Divya for another OS. Chalo I will join you in stalking. Thanks once again Geena. 🤗 ❤️ Hope you had a wonderful time on Valentines Day. 😃
