Just a thought on this...The fact that Sona wanted to retort means that she is not over him..When we are really over somebody their actions mean absolutely nothing to us.They really and truly cease to exist for us...

And then if she wanted to retort she should have done what you said...But that was again beyond her..She was dying to give it back to him..So here we go again round the mulberry bush😉😆😆

Thank you Geena. Yes, that was his way of protecting his wife probably. But as I said, not many think deep. A very sad thing to say but many remote villages in India, to this day, have this Agnipariksha, where even a rape victim is made to undergo some kind of test of having a heavy stone placed on her head. Then the men wait. Until some divine signal to prove her innocence / purity or whatever. She is to stay that way until they get that signal. That's why I said very few go into the depth of these stories.

KRPKAB using Mythological references have always surprised me since they seem to connect only superficially. Ishu is no Kausalya, Dev is no Ram and Sona is no Sita. May be they wanted to convey Dev is still a one woman man and he is forever Sona's. But like you said this fling or infidelity is the least to be bothered when they have broken all their marriage vows. Nothing there as saving grace.

Exactly. Nice seeing you after a long time Geena. 🤗 How are you?

I will give an excerpt from a Tamil movie. It was an off-beat movie but became a big commercial success due the distinct plot. Hero of the movie will accidentally meet the heroin's father in a brothel...His FIL is a widower and a true hero for his would be wife (heroin). FIL will leave the room teary eyed and the SIL (HERO) will take the blame on himself and surrender to the police which will lead to their breakup. But the FIL who was in distress and couldn't explain to his daughter his plight due to obvious reason will feel immensely guilty and will commit suicide after writing a long-letter stating though he loves his wife and daughter, he had to satiate his carnal pleasures and met his SIL in a compromising situation adn plead her to forgive him if she can., and hero will eventually explain heroine don't ever disdain your father he is and will remain as the best father anyone can have. The story and the treatment of the movie and how artistically they portrayed without an iota of vulgarity and made a point out there that they are not championing illicit relationships but took an effort to make people understand adults require sex and we shouldn't value judge people.

Interesting story. Thanks for sharing it Chithra.

SO my point is Even if Dev is promiscuous, I don't find him wrong. They had a very ugly separation and weren't in touch for 7 odd years. How on earth you can expect him to abstain from any relationship whether it is a one night stand or true relationship?

Oh trust me... I am not against a divorced man sleeping with a willing partner. In fact, I would prefer that to the scenario of Dev staging up the whole scene just to see if he can hurt his ex-wife in that manner. The first one would indicate a need - be it a physical need or an emotional one as an effort to forget his past for a little while. But the second one would indicate a meanness. A cruelty which I am not comfortable attributing to a male lead.

And please.. don't bring my Ashutosh of Tu hi Tu here. Even he winced and cringed when he accidentally took the name of his ex in front of his wife during a heated conversation. He didn't do it deliberately and bit back the rest of the words the second he realized whose name he had uttered.

But having said this Iam 100% sure that Dev will prefer to have a Jacuzzi refreshing bath rather than anything to do with the chipkali. This is my confidence on Dev Dixit

OK. OK. I heard you. Loud and clear. 😆

Amazing post 👏You know the famous American sitcom FRIENDS in that Ross and Rachel used to patch up and break up all time and were viewers favorite I don't after how many marriages and relationships they were brought together stating they never really fell out of love from each other and same show had Monica and Chandler who actually were a couple in real sense they faced all the issues as one unit and always fought for each other 😃 They are my couple goals 😳

Thank you. And thank you again for brushing up my memory of Ross and Rachel. Used to be crazy about the whole bunch. 😆

Well now coming to Devakshi, Dev is a free man and can do anything but I really want him to keep one promise of loving only one woman all his life to be true. If he has really moved on its good and Devakshi can go separate ways.Knowing this is an Indian show the chances are highly unlikely that they would make Dev a real casonova 😕

They could. Depends on how adventurous or bold the CVs want to get.

Oh there is zero indifference in either of them. That much is glaringly obvious from the first scene.😆 And Shaheer and Erica bring out that sizzling chemistry between them smack bang at the right moment. 😉

So yeah. It's the mulberry bush for some more time. 😉

Hi Suvi
I was away from the forum for a while. Was on emergency leave. Came back few days back. Good to see you here. How is your new work coming up. Your youngest is really a pataka. I read your reply to Deeps. 😆
