Seriously Off Putting Storyline

After the leap of 7 years, after all that excitement... what a let down!
Have to admit I am disappointed with Season 2 overall. Shaheer and Erica look great, and thats about the only saving grace. I gave up on this show when it became too saas bahu for me -- and returned but have to admit am disappointed.

You meet after 7 years, bad memories haunt you -- yes, you feel hurt -- yes, so you tear each other up in public? Really?

DEV:
You drink in an award function from a flask --- ?
You try to undermine your ex publicly?

SONA
you get provoked? not so mature after all?
All that I thank my team, my family -- suddenly becomes credit to ex? Knowing the world and your DAUGHTER and family are watching -- you will bash Dev? Just defies logic for a successful business woman.

I think the CVs seriously need to get a grip !

AS for the recap --- geez!! Ive seen posts about oh he's making her jealous, he wants to set her free --- yes, people move on. And why bash his gf in the room? Bash him! The whole storyline shows so much immaturity on all fronts. I am wondering why you would not use the hurt and the angst more subtly and more poignantly.

Maybe one can imagine - if he is in the same hotel - he may run into Soha...???? Some excuse? But I find then the GF is not needed at all --- and there are 20 other ways to make them meet.

I am aware this post won't be well liked --- but :) hey, its a POV to consider!

Last point --- after seeing IB, I feel this train moves very very slowly --- move it CVs!!

Happy to hear any comments

When Dev and Sonakshi met the first time it was on the streets right before their marriage , then already they had started off fighting
today both are badly hurt and emotionally weak seeing each other after seven years it will hurt Sonakshi we all know she is feisty she wanted Dev to know because of his hurtful words 7 years ago she didn't break instead she directed her pain into becoming a strong businesswoman , now why should she be faulted because she tells the truth , even her parents know its because of Dev's words that made her do what she is doing today

Dev is an independent person now , drinking from his flask shows that he is in his limits he is in control of himself this is his freedom unlike in the past he used to get drunk now he is not drunk
Dev said only what Sonakshi had said he is the inspiration behind her success yes he was wrong to take away the award but for him this award is extremely special it belongs to the woman he loves

Dev and Sona are both strong financially but both are weak emotionally though they say they have moved on they haven't in the slightest they both have not accepted the bitter past then how can they have moved on

on the precap the first time I saw it , I was totally disturbed as I know he is not any Casanova but after watching the entire episode again I felt much better I'm going to wait for today's episode but yes if Soha sees her father with other woman it will not be good for a child

Your POV is interesting

I must say that the episodes of season 2 were well shot and executed when compared to the last few episodes of season 2..

Regarding Dev, well, even I am not finding much character change in him after the leap.. Sonakshi is being portrayed very strong and I am happy... I really hope they don't show her becoming emotional bcoz of Dev's actions... That would bring down the buildup..

After watching today's episode it seems that the makers are now taking the audience for granted and making a mockery of the dedication fans have shown ... The episodes of season two started interestingly but since the award show they seem to have taken a very immature and childish way.
Why would they murder the story this way is beyond me ... What happened to the intelligence of the show? The writers seem to be confused as to why Sona is in Delhi after only 5 episodes the reason is unclear what happened to the crisp writing?

I think these guys are taking the audience too much for granted now !!!
Thanks --- I haven't bothered to see the last 2 episodes as I feel -- that's the best way to get the message across

Reading the WU today :) after your post --- it seems that there is neither consistency nor a clear vision that's why they don't have spoilers :) they've spoilt it enough and don't know what more to spoil !!

Folks --- much as we loved this show maybe it's better they change CVs or end it gracefully !! Watching the show rapidly deteriorate serves no one - neither shaheer (whose acting I've always respected) , nor the cast , producers or the audience !

Subtlety has been long done and dusted. So don't expect matured poignant behavior from Dev n Sona. We need to get used to the drama quotient, shocking twists, loud and brash arguements, illogical plots. As makers said during slapgate, Dev is not Ram..thet want to show more dynamism.
Having said that I still think S2 is better than the off-putting negativity they have been showing for months. Just watch it for awesome Erica and Shaheer. After the sudden outbursts we would definitely see their emotional sides and much better understanding of themselves and situations around them.

Sadly --- the end of S1 was bad enough I agree and with S 2 making no sense ---

Personally for me --- entertainment does not = senselessness. I love watching these shows for entertainment and relaxation. Recently - its only aggravating.

SO even this die hard shaheer fan since his Navya days -- has to sadly GIVE UP!! I'll watch when and IF the plot improves :) -- the forum is more fun than the show itself. IB2 may be more appealing a this point
