All men are not like this, Prasanna. Just the ones whose family treat them differently than their sisters. You see, when a man grows up in an environment where he is taught equality like Vimal, Mr. Das, they will grow up to believe and accept equality. However, when a man is brought up like Dev, equality will be a hard concept for them to swallow because they expected to receive more than their share.

Today, few things are beyond my understanding.

1. Dev, if he thinks both Ishwari and Sona didn't stand by him, when he need them most and they didn't trust him so his belief in love gone for toss. Even if so, he is treating his mom with respect but why this indifference to Sona?? Why this public humiliation to her??

2. As @Tinkerfairy mentioned, i can't understand what type of LOVE is this, when you want to hurt your loved ones knowingly??? If i am hurt, i am behave madly at my enemy like tit-for-tat, but will it be samething with my loved ones too?? If so, then what's difference between loved ones and enemies??

He very well knows that Sona will be hurt by seeing him with other girls, then why he is doing this show-off?? Why he want to hurt Sona?? What he will get by hurting Sona??😕

I still feel though deep down he still loves her. There is no other justified reason why he is so hurt and is trying to show off how happy he is. Had he actually moved on, he would not bother. But No!! he purposefully comes to the same hotel room which is infront of Sona's so that she see him with other woman...then what happens is left to Sona's imagination and us too.

Now, I dont expect Dev to ever realise or even contemplate where was he wrong. He is flawed. He could not emphathise with Sona or what she went through while he was drunk in his own grief.

He has got some of Ishwari's traits. Both mom-son due never take any blame. Both feel the other is responsible. And there is only one other Sonakshi. I feel sad for her.

But yes you were right. The taunt came first from Dev. And Sona easily went for the bait and showed her reaction. He is now trying to test her if she has actually moved on.

But I got to give it to Sonakshi to keep a straight face and come out of it not embarrassed. I admire her guts. She has some. First award and what a circus!!!

If only Sona had not reacted to his taunt like she never used to Radha rani's...*sigh*

Whether Sona decides to go back to him or not, only time will tell(as in what CVs will show). But as of now, I dont think she will, neither do I want her to. Dixits have learnt nothing and are still hostile, Dev is out of order. I dont want her to go back to him now, for anything.

So glad to see you back again, Tia! 🤗 I have been keeping a tab on your posts ever since you returned from the hiatus and I have liked always, loved them. And like always, in complete agreement.

As of now though, I'll be talking keeping how the second season is meant to reunite these two and going by the track record of hindi tv shows, this will happen down the line. The leap serves no purpose, especially Soha's existence if Dev and Sona don't end up together again. Would I want it? Of course, not. It's still going to happen anyway whether we like it or not, so, I might as well settle for it provided it happens for a legit reason and after proper redemption.

Dev, at this point, just makes me feel sick. Puke worthy like sick. -.- When the flashback was shown, I expected him to lash out at Ishwari and for once, truly realize how Ishwari, his entire family and HE has wronged Sona so badly almost the entire period of their marriage despite her multiple attempts to make their marriage work and to make their family work. Imagine how bad my hopes would have crashed when instead I saw a Dev with no guilty conscious of his own. He actually blamed Ishwari AND Sona, just the two of them for the state he was in. No introspection, no retrospection, no realisation, no owning up to his share of blunders and mistakes, no nothing. 😳 All the blame royally bumped onto Ishwari (rightly so, though) and Sona's head. I honestly don't understand what writers want from viewers when it comes to Dev. Sympathy? Empathy? Pity? Admiration? What exactly? Because I don't feel a damn thing for the man except disgust. I would completely understand a bitter Dev masked in that 'hot' avatar of his because you do tend to get bitter after bad experiences but I also expected a remorseful Dev.

As for his involvement in Sona's business, as much as I'd hate it, I do strongly feel that Dev does have a huge hand in Sona's success. The way he conducts himself around her and even otherwise just seem to suggest that. As for him getting involved with other women, he's divorced and he can do whatever the heck he wants, whether I feel disgusted in him is altogether a different matter. Albeit , I do think it's all just a pretense. It's obvious these two still love each other (also, because hindi tv shows logic) and Dev's probably just trying to ruin her sense of peace and sanity, like he's done before too during their break-up phase. And because he's so much more bitter now, the degree has gone a notch higher. Personally, I think his character is beyond redemption (only somehow bear him because of Shaheer) but since I know Dev and Sona are meant to reunite, they better do so with PROPER redemption and GREAT reasons. Otherwise, this love story is nothing but a JOKE.

Not much to say on Sona and even Soha because they're just what I expected them to be. Sona needs to stop giving this man the power to affect her. Or at least pretend in front of him like he does. Can't even get started on Ishwari and rest of the Dixits. They all so royally suck, majorly disappointed in Elena. 🤢

I am still finding Wht is Sona's fault that Ma/beta duo is still blaming her.Looks like after Sona leave dixits they doesn't finds any work that's why they r still playing blame game...After seeing precap I badly wants before dev go inside I wants Soha to comes saying I missed u Mumma nd hugs Sona than I wanna see where those smirk goes though we all know it won't happened like this

Yep. For Dixits, Sona is the perfect scapegoat. When all else fails, blame her. What a disgusting piece of shit.

There was actually a post on the question you raised. Someone used Indian culture to justify why what Sonakshi doing the same won't be acceptable. Are we talking about the same culture where Draupadi had five husbands?

Lol... Considering Dev forgets everything when he is drunk, who knows, he might forget to use protection. That's a big concern you know? Bigger than accidental pregnancy although I won't wish Dixit family on an innocent child. 😆

First things first, today's flashback where Ishwari is kicked off and yesterday's scene where Dev is all heart eyed for his mother made no sense to me. I thought he finally realised that all Ishwari was looking for was financial security and nothing else, I thought that he realised that his relationship with Sonakshi never mattered to her, I thought he realised that his mother was already prepared to get them divorced but how did I forget that any blame game is incomplete without blaming Sonakshi. After all, she's the tissue paper. Ishwari is still a goddess for Mr.Dixit. What a move, CVs!

People are so chill with the Dev making our with random girls scene. I really wonder if they'd react the same way if Sonakshi did this. I wonder if Dev would be okay with Sonakshi having sex with other people. I wonder what kind of a person would seek pleasure in making a person jealous by showing them that they're sleeping with someone else? Of course the person who claims to love you 😆

P.S.- Even I thought about the STD thing, no kidding. Stop reading my mind, Tia :P
