I am going to agree with you ...but why the Casanova approach?? Making her jealous...I doubt someone as sorted out like Sona wouldn't fall for it...in fact she will feel bad...even if he was in a committed relationship she would nt have felt bad as much as would have now...you know when you see your love sleeping around this way...the lady will hate herself for loving such a man...

I know casual flings etc are there...but somehow I am not able to accept this image of Dev!! I hope he is acting and in the room...he does nothing to that girl...seriously...I don't want to see any cheezy scenes of Dev with that girl tomorrow... 😭

Besides Dev's character was portrayed as a person who loved Sona deeply and couldn't think of any one other than her...Even if he had got into a committed relationship after Divorce with Sona , I would not feel disgusted abt it...And another point is when life gets tough you don't walk on the path that destroys you...here Dev is on a self destruction mode...its is not going to help him or his relationship with his ex wife and daughter.

He has lost trust in every relationship.Can we blame him for this .He loved one women truly and deeply but the same women questioned his love for her , trusted some characterless guy over him .I won't say he was innocent but he was not the only one to be blamed as well .After he was betrayed by everyone it's natural if he doesn't believe in love ,relationship ...if he is really believes I want to live my life on my terms then he won't bother getting back with with his ex wife .If he knew he had a daughter maybe he would have found a purpose to live but again he doesn't have to win back his ex wife to be part of his. Daughter's life .

Why do we think meeting some person in a hotel room is for only one purpose ?

Whatever Dev is doing now should not matter to Sona ,if in future she decides at all to come back. Its not like Dev is breaking any promise to her. Both have moved on.

But Sona will definitely feel irritated. Somewhere she knows he is her daughter's father. But I doubt this will be a reason for her to not reconcile. See, even Sona could have remarried, she did not do it does not mean Dev wont do it.

If he is remarrying its ok...I don't think after Divorce Sona should have a problem...like the way she had agreed to marry Mr R when they broke up...he has the right to choose a woman of his choice...somehow cant accept the Casanova image...as I clearly said in my post and did ask if I am being prudish !! 😭

What if his daughter sees it...what would be his image in front of her ?? Yeah I know he doesn't know abt her ...I think its about moral values ...I feel...it varies ...and many a times what is right for one need not be right for the other...

Nope. And it's not about who does Dev do and if he should. Both are free individuals. But that little stunt he pulled infront of the media disrespecting the woman , reducing her to the status of ex and stealing her moment of glory is why NO woman should go back to a d-bag like that. Don't give a shit about some grandeur scheme , that a dick headed public statement to make and it degrades Sona beyond whatever Dev does with his free willed Dick. Agreed on that ...the question here is after seeing Dev with another woman ...should Sona get back to him if he comes back to her life ( Its her choice ofcourse but wanted to know what ppl thought abt it)...I know of may cases where wife has forgiven her husband for kids sake...but many a times it backfires on kids and their future...it creates an hatred in the mind of a child to see a father who lacks respect for their mother...If the father has remarried its still ok...but even then kids find it diff to accept a new lady into their life as their mother...

If the same act was done by Sona ppl would have given her a different name...that is another point ...moral values for man and woman should be same.

I agree with @yyy on this..Dev and Sona have separated.He is free to do have a relationship with another women or any number of other women as long as he is not doing anything without their consent.Nobody has the right to judge his behaviour.
