Hi, I am new to this forum. I had written this OS previously for another couple. Yesterday I was watching the episode and felt that this story suits DevAkshi well. So I made some changes and here it is. Hope you like it😊.
Devakshi OS: Sunrise And You
~Love sometimes comes like a dream and leaves like a nightmare~
Sonakshi woke up hearing a knock at her door. She turned around and saw the bed empty. She sighed. Her sweet husband must have got some important business call and left her alone. She thought to ignore the knock. She hated it so much when she had to get up early in the morning when she was on a holiday. Again there was a knock. She got up and walked to the door muttering curses to Dev for leaving her alone and not even bothering to tell her where he went. As she opened the door she was in for a surprise.
"Dev?"
"Baby, get dressed and come with me fast."
"Where? Mr. Dixit, did you see the time? We are on a holiday, let me sleep a bit..."
"Come on Mrs. Dixit... Don't you want to please your husband?"
"I do, Mr. Dixit, but not at 5.00 a.m. Now let me go back to bed"
"You are choosing a bed over your husband?"
"Of course... It gives me the pleasure that you can't."
"Oh so we have competition... Do you want me to show you how exactly I can pleasure you? Maybe you can decide after that..."
"Shut up, Dev... Let me sleep."
"Aargh, Mrs.Dixit... Are you going to come with me or must I tie you up and carry you?"
"No... I am not coming with you and that's final."
"Okay you leave me with no choice."
He moved to the cupboard and pulled out a beautiful yellow gown he had gifted her.
"Now are you going to get dressed or do you want me to undress you?"
"I told you I am not going anywhere."
"Okay then I must undress you. Now where do you want me to start... Hmmm..."
"Dev... Fine... You are such a difficult man. Okay I'll be ready in five. Now please wait outside."
"That's like my Sweetheart... Oh... And let me warn you, I have another key to this room and if you are not out in five minutes then I am coming in."
"I said I'll be there... Now go."

"Dev, at least now you can tell me where you are taking me scratch that forcefully pulling me."
"Don't you trust me darling?"
"Of course I do... But..."
"No buts... Now walk as fast as you can, we must not be late."
Sonakshi walked fast trying to catch up with him. She didn't know why she loved him so much that she almost forgot her love affair with bed and was rushing like mad with him. The cold mountain air made her shiver a little. She was thankful that she had her warm clothes on.
"Here we are."
Dev pulled her up and Sonakshi looked around and saw that they were standing at the edge of a cliff. The cliff overlooked a valley of flowers and in front of the beautiful mountains of Switzerland towered. In the pinkish orange light of the dawn, they valley looked beautiful.
"This is a wonderful place Dev."
"Ah... You have not seen it fully. Now remove your coat and scarf."
"But it's cold..."
"It won't be in a few minutes, trust me."
She did as he instructed and rubbed her hands together. He came behind her and hugged her making her feel warm. She leaned back at him and closed her eyes enjoying the comfort of his closeness.
"Babe, open your eyes... I brought you here to see this."
She slowly opened her eyes to a magnificent sight. The mountains were glowing like hot embers. A golden glow was spreading over the entire valley. She looked down to see the flowers looking gorgeous in the first sunlight of the day. She felt the warmth of the sun flooding her and she took a deep breath inhaling the fragrance of the newly bloomed flowers. Suddenly she felt him move away. She turned around to see him kneeling in front of her.
"My Sunshine, will you be with me every time the sun rises?"
She felt hot tears form in her eyes. She felt as if all her dreams had come true. This was why she loved him so much. Every single time he managed to surprise her with the love he had for her. She held his collar and pulled him up.
"Mr. Dev Dixit, I love you."
With that she rewarded him with a kiss. He put his arms on her waist and kissed her back. Her arms went around his neck and one of them clutched his hair as the kiss deepened. They slowly pulled away for breath. He rested his head on hers.
"You still didn't answer my question."
"Do I have to spell it out for you?"
"Well... I don't mind if you answer me again in the same way."
She pushed him away playfully and ran away from him. He ran behind her trying to catch her.
The sun had risen and the lovers knew that it brought new hope with it.

Dev stood by the window waiting for his cup of coffee. He was an early riser. He saw the sun rising up and clenched his fists. She had broken her promise. He turned away dreading what the day may bring. More heartbreak? More sorrow? Another Nightmare.

Sonakshi stood by the window. She had spent another sleepless night. She saw the sun rising and a drop of tear fell down her face. He had broken her heart. She turned away dreading what the day may bring. More pain? More hurt? Another Nightmare.

The sun looked at them sadly. If only they knew that it brought hope with it as it always had done. If only they could be together as they were that day to joyfully receive the hope it gave them today. If only... Yes... If only they knew... Their lives can be a dream instead of a nightmare.
