And there are people who learn nothing because they can never see their own fault and always blame others for their weakness/failure and are pretty much hopeless cause.
Sonakshi is the former and the entire Dixit family including Elena are the later.
So despite plenty of justification for Dev like looking for hidden meaning/intentions/kernel of decency with a fine-tooth comb, the conclusion is that contrary to popular belief,
1. He meant every ugly word he spoke to Sonakshi including hurting her self-worth as a wife, as a human being, as a woman. And no there was no altruistic motive involved unless being an ass is being altruistic? Well, both starts with A.
2. Dev has no hand in Sona's success beyond the ugly words he spoke which brought back her fighting spirit. For which Sonakshi thanked Dev. Good going, Sonakshi. You should never forget to give due credit to deserving people.
3. Dev doesn't admit his mistakes even now and blames Sonakshi for not "understanding" his "intentions". Truly, how dare Sonakshi grow a spine? Didn't she commit to be his doormat forever to be used and abused at his will?
4. Dev takes care of his family. But is no longer in Ishwari's control. If anything he should thank Sonakshi for giving him the incentive to get out of her suffocating s-mothering. But no, Sona is the witch and Ishwari is the shining light.
5. Dev thinks Ishwari always shows him the right direction. Of course she does. Didn't I write yesterday that Ishwari's parenting is still evident? Look how Mummy taught you her best moves from "Pass the Blame" game?
And you learned it so well. Soon you will be a reigning champion of the game as well. Keep it up!!!
6. Ishwari apparently always just wanted Dev to live his life the way wanted. I am just wondering, did I miss something? Oh right, Ishwari always wanted what Dev wanted as long as he wanted what she wanted. You know the same logic as Dev had, You can turn my room into jungle. I just want you to be happy and feel at home. But not the swing. I don't want it, so you can't have it. It's my room which I will let you believe is also your room as long as you don't change anything I don't approve.
See? The apple didn't fall far from its tree, now did it?
7. Elena expects someone else to discipline her child because that is the right kind of parenting. After neglecting her child, now she decided to take him in hand. Truly Elena's transformation as Dixit is complete.
8. Sonakshi and Soha - honestly mother and daughter goals. As much as Dev is spoiling the neglected Golu, Sonakshi is raising Soha with excellent examples.
Precap: Sonakshi gives the credit for her success to her ex while Dev smirks.
