Hello everybody,My name is shubha,I am almost a silent reader of this forum.I do read the posts and comment whenever i get time. But never actively participated in any discussion.
I started watching KRPKAB only after confesssion episode.I had seen the initial promos. But i thought its a typical saas bahu show.now i love this serial and i must say this is bestest serial i hv watched.šŸ‘šŸ‘
Reason for me to make my first post on this forum is that i have witnessed a real life couple like devakshi.I just wanted to share it since a long time. Here we go.

This is the story told by my husband. The girl is my husband's school mate elder sister. My Father in law and the girl's father are colleagues and very good friend. The girl was a software engineer and was working in a very good company when she got married to this guy.The guy was also a software engineer and was working in USA.As in Dev case,The guy's mother was an insecure lady and guy mama boy.The MIL staying in India used to control son and DIL who were in USA.The main problem was girl was earning same as guy.The MIL usedto control each and everything of their life through phone and guy used to obey his mother and ignored his wife completely.
The girl and her family were very patient with the guy and they tried to talk to the guy and of no use. They used to say that guy was not a bad man but a mama boy. They were blessed with first child and girl family thought things will change after that. But it became worse and the girl became pregnant second time and came back to india for delivery.I girl had had enough of husband and MIL torture and gave up on them and filed for divorce.there was series of ugly fight between two family and finally divorce happened.
The girl became a single working mother and with the help of her parent raised the children single handledly. There was no communication between them for almost 7 years. They both never remarried. This is the time when i met that girl.Eventhough she was earning well and i could see the incompleteness in her.
After nearly 7 years of separation the guy contacted girl family and wished to meet the children. He used to come to india twice a year to meet children and used to talk to them over phone. But there was no commmunication between the couple. The guy then apologized to girl and her family for all that had happened. The way sonakshi said in yesterday's episode that dev is not a bad guy and a spineless, samething they used say about the guy.He changed himself from being mama's boyšŸ˜† and MIL learnt a lesson seeing her son suffer. After that there was a series of meeting between them and they fount out that there is still love and respect for each other and they got remarried after nearly 9 years of separation and divorce.😊😊
The guy has shifted to india and the girl has become an housewife now(She on her own gave up job). I have met them once and its pleasure to seem them as a couple and i can see the joy and completeness in their face.šŸ‘šŸ‘.They leave happily now.
I hope to see Dev redemption and also ishwari in coming episodes and wish to see devakshi together based on only love for each other and not child sake.No kuch kuch hota hai please.
Sorry for the long post and i am not good in writing.
Please share ur views on tise real life story similar to our Devakshi.

Yes they lost so many years of their life because of insecurities and ego from guy's family. But its a very rare case of after being divorced once and then remarried. There is another sad thing is that girl's mother died much before remarriage.I hv seen how she fell sick and was suffering because of what happened to her daughter. She always wished to see them together again. When it happened she was no more.😭😭

Thank you for warm welcome.Yes reunion is not very easy and it happened only because of guy accepting his mistakes and changing himself for good. When we heard about it and I was almost jumping with joy.😊

Very nice and interesting story dear. Indeed, real life is stranger than fiction. Wonderful to hear that the couple reunited and are living happily.

Sharing another experience about a couple who reunited. My friend's friend was living in a joint family and her hubby was a puppet in his mom's hands. Naturally his wife was severly ill treated by them. She was a housewife, and that made things worse for her. After 7 years of marriage , she left him taking her 5 year old son with her. They stayed apart for around 6 years.During this time he realised his folly .He went back to her asking for forgiveness. She said that she would come back on the condition that they live in a nuclear family( away from his mom). She also said that under no circumstances and for no reason should the mil ever come to her house. He agreed. They are living together now.And the boy avoids his mom like the plague ;)... During the initial years of their marriage she was forced to dance to his tunes, now as per her own words " he dances to her tunes". Life always goes full circle.

yeah, sad. But not all things happen in one's lifetime. it is okay, as long as only good things happen!

i am of the firm belief that before marriage, irrespective of what type it is, love or arranged, both partners need counseling and be spoken the truth. It is like a pilot taking simulator lessons prior to getting license. Tell them all the possibilities that may happen and guide them on the possibilities in handling it. .

My niece got married recently. She was in new zealand and the boy from the US. They met on e-harmony. They spoke to each other for 6 months ( video chats - gosh i cannot understand this modern generation, they are a challenge to me!) and wanted to get married. She is just like my daughter and so i had a role to play.

I called both of them home and spoke to them of ALL my experiences, my own, what i have seen happening round about me via my friends, colleagues.. everything... the topics covered infidelity, a barren womb, financial, emotional such as depression, panic attacks, job related, Sexual, family planning, roles of parents and relatives, movies, wanderlust, abortion, divorce, chidren.. the list was so long.. just name it and you have it. yes, i also covered some situations from KRPKAB too!! 😊😊

The boy was kind of shocked as he did not expect this. From his face, it was clear he thought i was talking shop. My niece though knew me and expected this. The next day, the boy went to the church and met with the pastor.. and the pastor too covered all these topics, but over a long stretch of time.

to cut a long story short, at the end of the day, the boy confessed that there were many things he was not aware off.. and it was a learning for him and he confessed that it was good he learnt it before than later.

They are both married now and i am hoping that all goes well.
