I really thought seeing the prenup will make him think that his mother is after breaking his relationship with Sonakshi, but he didn't say a word to his mother.

As for the horrible things he said to Sona, well it shows how pathetic he is. I know many people are speculating that he did it for her benefit, so that she leaves and can be free from his family, but still that is no excuse.
Do you really think a woman would get over her husband taunting her that she can't become a mother, that she would be a bad mother? Infertility is no joke. There are many women around the world who can't have kids, imagine the pain they would feel if their husbands said such a thing, would they be able to forget it? I highly doubt it.

And if Dev really was making Sona leave for her sake, it once again shows he is weak and can't fight for her. The first time round he so easily ditched her and she was the one who wanted to keep the relationship in tact, but he didn't care. This time round she wants to go, and he is making her because he can't man up and tell his family not to treat his wife like crap?

If this is the route the writers take, is Sona meant to be happy that her husband ended their relationship because once again he couldn't stand up to his family? Once again he picks Ishwari over Sona. And no he didn't have to pick Sona over Ishwari, he just had to be firm with her and make sure no one treats his wife bad. If you can't stick it out with someone through the highs and lows, then you don't deserve them, if you aren't bothered to fight for them, then you also don't deserve them. Clearly for Dev fighting for Sona was too much hassle, and he let her go.

And Sona deserves so much better. Dev slapped her father, yes it was unintentional, but did she want to leave him? No. Yet Dev yesterday pushed Sona onto Ishwari, which made Ishwari fall, and he wanted Sona to get out of his house. That was his fault, and he hated her, kept telling her to get away from his mother, as if she's a witch. Imagine if Sona had slapped Ishwari they way Dev did to Bejoy, as if he would've forgiven her.

I do somehow believe that Ishwari just played her very last card
as from now onwards Dev will know his wife is no longer with him because of his mother and his family
maybe that's the reason for Dev's change after the leap

He did take a stand for his relation today...even though the entire thing was orchestrated by Ishwari but he did take a stand...and whatever said and done we all know dev is really flawed wrt Ishwari.
Also when Sona started accusing him is when he was deeply hurt and lost his love...his life and said those harsh words to make the long hard trek easy for her(I believe he did it intentionally...coz his last expressions weren't of anger...they were of pain...the pain of loosing the most important person in life)

"Courage" love requires Courage that this guy don't have .otherwise he would have fight for her no matter what.in the end he again chose easy way out.by letting her go.
