We knew this was coming. Right from the start we heard the ticking of the timer, as we watched two nice individuals enter into an unequal relationship where they have none of the controls.

Ishwari is melodramatic super sensitive insecure woman who is neither strong nor wise. She had no right to interfere as these two finally got to expressing true feelings undiplomatically. Yes, they were having an ugly spat. Dev even took a time out to control his temper.

But she had to interfere. Ugh, this woman.

But things went south further, as Sona misunderstood what Ishwari was telling her to do. "Ma is telling us to separate..." when actually she was asking them to move out.

But Dev is far gone down to behave rationally. He is as melodramatic as his mother. He rants that, yes, everything was his fault, yes I should have never loved you, yes I should have never married you.

Again Sona catches his collar, back then warning him that she is an equal in their relationship, not to make decisions for her too. And now, to take back the words that denounced their love.

He threw her off! SHE was thrown off. And landed on Ishwari. So Ishwari falling is unacceptable but Sona is of no importance.

Just like that he says, " Get out..." He didn't even bother to look at her as he said it. The Dixits are hurt, and their feelings are paramount.

Radha Rani and Vicky are poised to destroy Ishwari and Dev, after removing Sonakshi. Those two are defenseless now. Nasty hyena and spawn.

No doubt, Sona and family have rough times ahead but she is focused and determined. She will pull through. Dev though had fallen into a dark hole dug out for him, appears quite bleak.

Great post...👏
The writing was always on the wall that this marriage was built upon flimsy grounds. It took a shove and a get out from Dev for Sona to see it.

In life we chose to see what we want to see but if we really want to see we need to open our eyes.

The way I am viewing this hopefully Sona is on her way to realizing the truth I don't know about Dev
We sometimes have to hit rock bottom to get up..their marriage just did..the only thing remains to be seen whether both can come up or only one does

Excellent points. You are absolutely right. A marriage with unequal partners which is controlled by a third will never work. Dev and Sona themselves handed over the weapon to destroy them to the person who never wanted to see them together.
This is what I wrote in another post.

Honestly, the damage Dev has done to his marriage, Ishwari-Radha and Vicky combined can't do it. The responsibility to make or break a marriage lies on husband and wife. But both Dev and Sona handed over the control of their marriage to Ishwari. Why are they surprised to see that she molded their marriage the way suits her, but doesn't suit them?

I kept saying that when two people are together in marriage, they are a unit. But when it becomes three people, it becomes overcrowded and at least one will be pushed out of it. And as Dev and Ishwari have a more solid marriage (of mind, of lack of values, of morality, of lies, of nature), I am not surprised to see Sona got pushed out.

Excellent post atleast u r not deffending losers Dev.I really don't get how can people still blaming somebody else for this break. It was only dev who made all the blunder at first without any missunderstanding, any manipulation, any emotional drama dev's words dur haat jaa meri maa se still echoed in my mind.It was Sona who should said all the things to dev instead of Dev.Loving dev was her mistake, give up her self respect for someone was her mistake not dev's.Men like dev deserved this fate.I am glad leap happened allready the show has gone to drain without any logic.Atleast now I will be able to see wht I wants frm long time ish nd dev's pain nd their every tears will give me immense pleasure.I am waiting for that only nd without this nothing is left in this show

It's true. In this present state, they were never actually going to accept her as one of them. That one question Ishwari asked Sona when she arrived: are you coming as MY bahu, or your family's beti?

How dare she?! A daughter doesn't stop being a daughter when she becomes a wife? Why did she have to insult Sona like that? She wanted her to give up her family for this infestation of parasites?

In life we chose to see what we want to see but if we really want to see we need to open our eyes.

I feel bad that Dev is being played by Vicky. He might even take over the company just by keeping him drunk.
As much as I think Ishwari deserves payback, but not from Radha Rani & Vicky. She been nothing but generous to those parasites.

Wow... brilliantly penned 👏

Sona completely misunderstood Ishwari... but why did Ishwari not clarify to her when she was telling Dev, I meant you'll move out!

Subconsciously she wants them to separate.. clearly RR had done her job. I have no words for Ishwari.. I feel sorry for now.. she doesn't know what is going to hit her!!

ishwari, as always, chose her words wisely and then acted innocent 😡 she clearly talked about how their marraige was shambles, a mistake, bina puche kar li.. mere dev ki khushi de do.. tum donon alag ho jaao.. iska kyaa matlab? she didnt say.. i want you two "apna ghar alag nasaao" like she said to Dev!
Ishwari cleverly set the stage by asking all to leave. then played her game as she does with Dev, in private. and then made innocent face

😳 there is a certain amount of heart and logic in your posts that I so love since time immemorial {LOL}

The way Dev totally ignores Sonakshi's plight, her problems, her heartbreak, is so tough to watch. I am a hopeless romantic and to view this happening to another woman who is a romantic too, shreds your heart.

Although, it was written on the wall since forever. the moment Sona stands up for herself, the moment she is even slightly self respecting, she would be pushed out by none other than Dev. Coz no one with even a little bit of authority is allowed in that house. see how the whole house knows of the undercurrents of Ishwari' s competition with Sona, the solid hold of Ishwari on family's bread earner and hence they bad mouth only Sona. They all know including Dev, that Ishwari likes to hear bad and insulting words against Sonakshi. Dev and Mamaji were the only ones who did not do this, coz they had their own space with Ishwari without resorting to 'speak-ill-of-Sona-to-achieve-gold-medal-from-Ishwari' Being in good books of Ishwari meant, life of luxury, and to do that bad mouth Sona. So easy...

Say something to Ishwari/or against her and be thrown out of the house. If Sona had defended her honour earlier against Neha, RR, Ishwari, se would have been thrown out of the house earlier. She knew this and was hence accommodating to delay the inevitable.

I've always said Dev can only realize his wrongs once he hits rock bottom that the time he starts to retrospect himself his relations and this will be the time he realize all the falsehood going around in his house
Dev has now started falling and soon he'll hit rock bottom this time he'll be sole alone as Sonakshi his strength is no longer there .
In order for Dev to be a man he will have to start respecting himself first he will have to start taking control of his life

I wouldn't defend anyone !😆 everyone could've behaved better in this whole week of episodes!

Diplomatically, Saurabh should've returned the money, to Dev in the office. But Sona had come as the official response the Bose family, which was why Ishwari kept harping on whether Sona had come as Bahu or Beti of Boses.

She had come to righteously reply to all the accusations against her father. Their pride was hurt, she had every right to. Because Dev , if he were in her situation, would've had a nuclear meltdown.

It was plain as day, she is not respected AT ALL in that house. No one else but she and Mamaji were defending the relationship. I loved Mamaji's words to her. Why delay the obvious.
