The Tag Line of this show is
What do we gain what do we lose when we make decisions of the heart with the Head

My question is is the Tag line just now coming to life?

because as I see it upto now BOTH Dev and Sona made decisions with their heart and not head

Dev
He broke up with Sona because of his mom-
He went to Sona's engagement
He lied about the reports
He lied about pregnancy
He hit Bijoy

Sona
Got back together with Dev despite the bad break up
Stayed back in Dixit house inspite of the insults
Started win over Easwari Andolan
Agreed to infertility treatment
Agreed to Simla trip

So will they start making decisions with the Head now going forward? and is this story just beginning?...hmmm I know I am clutching straws here but this is my last desperate attempt to don my very logical hat 😆 or is it time for us viewers to stop using our Heads and Hearts too much 😉

I like your last line! We are using too much of our dil& dimag on the show!

Originally I think it was supposed to be the journey of a mil. Right now things are so grey tha fact that will she even remain a mil to sona is questionable! Dev has been completely butchered & his character has gone from ok to horrible since the show began.

I only watch from a curiosity angle as to how the story is going to move forward but the way dev & sona keep making mistakes it seems stuck.

I will celebrate the day Sonakshi and Dev both use their very unused brains. Until now they have been using brains, but not theirs. Dev was using Ishwari's brain and Sonakshi was using Asha's. If she had to borrow someone's brain, I wish she had used Bijoy's brain instead. Only he can stump Ishwari.

This is my first Indian show and I heard this writer of this show is popular one so just trying to understand where exactly they are going with this

If you think about it from a financial perspective the more episodes the show runs more the money. So they can weave whatever story they want...Infact in American soaps the shows go on for years with plots after sub plots and people just get hooked to the show and just watch them because it is habit kind of like me coming to this forum and commenting.

But in reality if you look at it from a business perspective this show has to make money for the channel otherwise it is not worth it for them ..so they may close all loops really fast and be done with the show or show a new story where Sona uses her head and Ruthless Dev uses his head and they butt heads now heart nowhere to be seen may make for a romantic flick the kind which may have some audience after all the leads look good and they can throw more drama too so bottom line they can go either way I was just curious about the game plan no personal or emotional investment at this point

I have watched a few soaps esp Hindi. A few start well but due to trp pressures succumb to the tried & tested formula. This show has never got great trps even the initial episodes. So why change the execution & plot line suddenly is confusing. Because even now they are not getting high trps.
Like you said it is a business. We may curse Ekta kapoor for all she cares but she is giving people what they want to see from saas bahu to the paranormal! Those are high trp shows & they are the ones getting or making the money!

There is irony in all this. When the characters use their heart, the audience uses its head. When the characters use their head, the audience uses its heart! Either way the enormous disection going on shows how involved the audience is.

I personally think the show is back on track. Reason, never a dull moment. This is the bottom line. When I yawn, or look at my mails or play scrabble during the show, it means lack of interest.

Last few episodes were very interesting to me.. that is all that matters.

It's so interesting that when characters do not behave the way we expect them is day that this forum has most activity pro or against. Also everybody associates the behavior of the characters to their personal experiences which is interesting but end of the day the story is owned by the makers.
