I really dont know how to sum up the episode in one go.On what note it started and on what it ended.
Expectation:
We will spend a nice time in Shimla together. We will destress.
Reality:
You end up fighting half of the time their.
Expectation:
This was our last fight, we would never let anything trouble our relation. We promise to be together. Always.
Reality:
Destiny looks at you and smirks. Because there is already something disastrous waiting for you.
Expectation:
I love my mother, I worship her. What is wrong in that? We should love our mothers.
Reality:
You become blind and limitless in your love, so much so, that you end up ruining your own life.
What Dev did today cannot be justified. Period. But what shocked me more was Sonakshi's reaction in the precap.
"Filhal mujhe mere baba ke paas jana hai"
There was really no requirement of the word 'filhaal'
Either I am over assessing the gravity of the situation or the reaction was too mellowed for it? Or it will come later?
Even the very thought of this situation makes me shudder. What if someone I loved had hit my father , intentionally or unintentionally, in the heat of the moment or whatever.
Only thinking about it makes me anxious. It is no small thing. A stranger disrespectful to your parents, you will slap him there. No second thoughts. But what if this is done by someone you had all your expectations on? Someone whom you loved equally as your father?
The situation turns a million time worse, you are a million times more hurt.
There is no way Sonakshi can forgive Dev easily for this. It was done in the heat of the moment, Ishwari was murmuring, Dev got into panic mode and Bijoy shouting in the background was distracting Dev. He decided to shut him up by swinging his arm and slap him! If u see it was a 'ulte haath ka chanta' you can't even say it was unintentional. Plus it was also accompanied by a 'chup'
The thing I have understood so far about Dev is, he is totally absolutely ridiculously blind when it comes to his mother. No boundaries, no logics, no other emotions, no right wrong, only his mother.
And he doesn't even realise.
What muck he is pushing himself in, he is clueless about. I feel terribly sorry for him, because he thinks he is headed just right. Before he is able to judge what wrong he has done, the situation already has slipped out of his hands. Happens every SINGLE time!
I am wondering how will he be able to come out of this??
One thing I didn't understand of Dev though, why is he standing like a statue when everyone was literally screaming? GKB, ishwari, Bijoy...he could have silenced them all by his firmness. Why didn't he do that? What took him so much time to actually say that he was the one to help sourab. Okay, I understand he thought Ish would be disappointed, fine ...but Why didn't he cut GKB'S sentence when she said The boses are after his money?? There was no reason to stay silent!
And Ishwari's overreaction and sitting down in shock as if Dev backstabbed her was also weird. She was blabbering, how could you hide it from me? And how could you keep aside your sisters for Sonakshi?
Excuse me?
How does investing some crores from an apparently millionare's pocket, would affect the fortune of your daughters? It is not that Dev sold his shares or property for this. He was capable and he did it. And I don't think Dev had the intention of even hiding it from her.
She would not understand the business aspect of it and there was no point separately talking to her about it
Lets see how they take it from here tomorrow..
About the Devakshi part, I did not know they would use the most overused Hum tum song todayđ It suited the situation nevertheless.đł
They had ended the emotional conversation al aspect of it in last episode itself and today was all about being together and passion.
Sonakshi is angry, Dev is angry. Sonakshi pushes him again and again screaming "You don't care"
Dev screams 'I do!' every time.
Actually the fight which was about infertility a moments back had quickly shifted to how they were not being able to be happy together. The topic had changed to be about themselves only. Therefore, there was no point of further communication it seems. They already knew they were just yelling at each other. Dev decided to resolve it by showing.Though, I would confess that the sudden kiss scene was a little abrupt and awkward.đ
One or two displays of his affection and Sonakshi melts then and there!đł I never expected KRP to be romantic, or passionate or anything remotely related only to devakshi's married life. But KRP never fails to surprise. Sharica are as always perfect in their portrayal and they maintain that line of sensual and cheap intact. Kudos for thatđ
Sonakshi got so happy with it all that she starts missing Ish and wants to give her a hugđ€Ł Why did DevAkshi leave one day early btw?đĄđĄ They are truly one of a kind..đ„±đ
Oh and I absolutely loved some dialogues while they fought today,
"Tumhe kya pata ek ladki ko kaisa lagta hai ek anjaan ghar me. . ."
"Tumhe kya pata ek ladke ko kaisa lagta hai ek stranger ko itni importance dena ke uske bina uthna, baithna, khana, peena, sona..sab impossible lagta hai"
đ
Reminded me how far they have come from the day they first met, as strangers.â€ïž
And also the line
"Hum sath hote hai par paas nahi"
So many voices in the background don't let them hear each other's voice and it distances them everytime.
