This guy Dev is not giving any chance to others to defend him is he 😆 He earlier threw Ranveer out of his job, cancelled Rithwik's loan, that time itself many of us anticipated that he one day will do this to Sonakshi..

And here the day comes ! 😆 Did Sonakshi ask for it by throwing the cheque on his God's face 😆

Hi Tia! I can be all heart eyed with your post and sing praises for the amazing observations but I won't do that today because you know, it's clich. Today I'm gonna like a person who sees nothing beyond romance, basically like a person who is an ideal viewer according to the CVs.

How can you even make this post? Didn't you the 'hawwwt' romance? Has your husband ever pulled you so hard that you feel like you're gonna bang your nose into his chest and fracture it?

Have you ever seen a guy like Dev,who can kiss his woman's feet? OMG! So hawt!

Did you expect to see Devakshi wrapped in sheets? I just caught on fire. Eee!

Who cares if Sonakshi gave in just by seeing her husband's hair flying and pupils dilating? Who cares if Sonakshi was all okay after the sex even though that's what Ishwari wanted and that was one of the things that should have irritated her? Who cares if Sonakshi forgot the injustice and insults thrown by "her" maa, she wanted to return back to her ASAP. Who cares if Dev didn't have the decency to take a stand for his deeds? Who cares that Dev was so desperate to convince his mother that he forgot about the humiliation faced by his in-laws. Who cares that a useless, jobless and mindless person like GKB is allowed to speak such harsh words but Dev doesn't react at all. Who cares that a girl like Sonakshi, says nothing when she sees all this happening.

Nobody cares as long as Dev Sona keep having sex on-screen.

I absolutely agree. If you don't put up with disrespect for the sake of so-called love, then you will never get respect. Sonakshi is also to blame for her situation.

But in an abusive relationship, the victim might be a stupid person to put up with it, but the lion's share of the blame always belongs to the abuser and his/her aids for perpetuating the abuse.

There is a major difference in physical abuse and emotional and mental abuse. Prolonged exposure to former breaks bones, but prolonged exposure of later breaks spirit.

Sabita and I have both volunteered at women's shelter and the worst cases were the ones whose spirit and souls were broken. The physically abused women healed, learned martial arts or other ways of defending themselves and eventually gained confidence in themselves.

But the emotional and mentally abused ones, kept getting into one after another worse relationships because they had so little self-worth that anyone who spoke kindly to them once made them think that they love them.

Some of them were trained like dogs where their husband slapped them, humiliated in public for little things like not enough salt in food, ridiculed them in front of houseful of guests at a party and later spoke to them nicely so that they started to equate emotional and mental abuse as signs of love.

Most of such cases sub-consciously keep choosing the same kind of men over and over, never able to leave the vicious cycle. Again for one simple reason, their spirit is broken.

However some audiences did not see him that way. And I think to show Dev's true character, the CVs had to ditch subtlety and adopt a so in your face approach. Perhaps then it'll be understood that such love is better off away from one's life.

I am indeed convinced that CVs plan to show that people need to take reins of their self respect earlier on in any relationship(as employee, as new family member ,as boyfriend/girlfriend, as spouse, as in law, etc) Later it gets to ugly stage where neither the love nor relationship stays.

I have a married sister whose in-laws/husband sort of mirror Dev and Dixits. But she took control and within the first year could ensure that respect is a 2 way street . If she does not get it, she will not give it. But then , her husband and in Laws were a more regular conservative family . they weren't as bad as Dixits... 😃
Its important to take a tough stand and even call out on your husband to support you in a tough situation even at your in laws house. When did Sona ever ask Dev directly to support her.

He made sure Sona gets fired from the job.She does not get job any were.He assassinated her character.So that Sona does not get married n settle in Delhi.After seeing this.Yet Sona fall for him.Without any strong repentance from him.Dev principle is it's my way of highway.I also expected this.The day Sona.Stand against Ish.He will again create trouble for Sona n her family.

Yest epi.Dev dialogue were he said how hard for him to make a stranger as his life et.,.That shows.Still for Dev Sona is like stranger. As if he has to adjust so much for Sona.But when the scenario was totally opposite.Yet Madam Sona happily romanced n had sex with Dev.Sona still she take a strong stand for herself n her family.Dixit will not stop.Honestly if Dev show money power.Sona should go media n drag Dev.Ishwari Communication share value will come down.

I've stopped watching for quite some time . Only reading your posts religiously. They're superb every time.

Thank you for sharing them with us.

The show is shit nowadays. Devakshi "romance" has become acronym of cheap sex , which is some thing extremely sad.

Your posts are so much more interesting and enriching thought wise than this entire series.

@Bold - I could not stop laughing at that dialogue.That showed.After falling in love with Dev.Sona easily forgot what he did with her.Even when Ranveer babhi was accusing Dev.Sona said Dev is not like that.Honestly Dev is like that only.He can do anything to get what he wants.Sona after falling in love.She is suffering from SML.
