I hope that image of her collapse soon...only then we can expect Dev to change ...till he considers his mom to be god ...no way he will change...

The image of God has to collapse. Till that does anything that will be done by ishu will be justified. I personally thought they would take the treatment route where Sona would get too tired and Dev will refuse to pursue it further but Ishwari will continue to be stubborn.

My 2 cents on this:

God for me is who is worshipped and has super powers..but is invisible and whom we have never seen..there is only one way communication where we pray and God listens as per our belief...

What happens when we give the same position to a living person and can have 2 way communication like Dev has given that position to his mom and he has reasons for that. His mom's struggle and the conditions in which she bought her 4 kids...

Ishwari believes in God and whatever she has faced in life, good or bad, she has never blamed God for that...so in the same way Dev is doing the same thing..difference is that his God is living human being and as per his upbringing and experience with his maa, u can't blame God for anything or get angry with...as God is always right...

We do get angry with God and sometimes stop believing in God (saying by my personal experience) but slowly and gradually when situations starts improving we forget our tough times and are more bound to forgive rather than keeping that hatred alive...and this brings our faith back in the almighty...

So Dev will surely realise this and get angry with Ishwari but he can't leave her or stop talking to her forever...Once she will start overcoming her insecurities, Dev will slowly start to melt down. Devakshi together will help Ishwari in this...

Don't know if it makes sense but this is my POV..

@BOLD...agreed ...absolutely true...but the point here is even if he gets angry with his mom...once he reconciles he goes back to the old status...there is no change in Dev, that is what happens with god and people.

But if Dev has to change , and see other people and their needs...prioritize every one equally then the image of Ishwari as god should be gone...he should be able to see his mom as a human being ...only then will he understand how much some of his deeds have affected other ppl who cares for him...this is not in case of Sona and her family...holds good for his sisters and mamaji too

1st of all the comparison between ishwari and real God is blasphemy. Yes dev doesn't consider God and for him his mother is God but the problem is in this idea only. Yes we all love our parents some more some less. Every parent sacrifices, does a lot for their child but as the child grows he/she have their own thoughts, perspective. This individuality is missing in dev. He may consider as God but is she????? Can any Human be God????? No, I don't think so becoz humans are imperfect but ishwari manipulates dev and all the situation so well that dev still remains a blind follower and doesn't question ishu ever. But I find these instances of dev treating mother as God funny!!! Becoz that too is contradictory if she was really his bhagwan then why marry sona at all for his personal satisfaction and happiness when his God doesn't like her???? Won't she get angry with him???? There were many scenes in the show where it is shown that dev doesn't agree with his mother or doesn't listen to her. Sona being the biggest example. Therefore, in my POV this is not God worshipping but just blind love for ishwari

That would have shaken the God image.. But now that the treatment is far from starting.. I can't imagine or predict what the CVs have thought of.

Very very interesting phase to begin.. I just pray it isn't dragged too much.

@ BOLD...exactly my point ...but I dont see any reason in the near future for that image to collapse ...I dont think prenup would be one...I think something physically has to happen to Sona ..like a threat to her life...only then it will wake him up...because in such a case he cant use his power to get her back...

Just wondering what it would be which would collapse the god image of Ishwari...initially I thought it would be the Khathri track ...but looks like that is not going to happen...CVs have dropped that one ...we get to see that Khathri guy acting short roles in some films now...so I doubt if he would be doing serials anymore...
