1st of all the comparison between ishwari and real God is blasphemy. Yes dev doesn't consider God and for him his mother is God but the problem is in this idea only. Yes we all love our parents some more some less. Every parent sacrifices, does a lot for their child but as the child grows he/she have their own thoughts, perspective. This individuality is missing in dev. He may consider as God but is she????? Can any Human be God????? No, I don't think so becoz humans are imperfect but ishwari manipulates dev and all the situation so well that dev still remains a blind follower and doesn't question ishu ever. But I find these instances of dev treating mother as God funny!!! Becoz that too is contradictory if she was really his bhagwan then why marry sona at all for his personal satisfaction and happiness when his God doesn't like her???? Won't she get angry with him???? There were many scenes in the show where it is shown that dev doesn't agree with his mother or doesn't listen to her. Sona being the biggest example. Therefore, in my POV this is not God worshipping but just blind love for ishwari

@BOLD...agreed ...absolutely true...but the point here is even if he gets angry with his mom...once he reconciles he goes back to the old status...there is no change in Dev, that is what happens with god and people.

But if Dev has to change , and see other people and their needs...prioritize every one equally then the image of Ishwari as god should be gone...he should be able to see his mom as a human being ...only then will he understand how much some of his deeds have affected other ppl who cares for him...this is not in case of Sona and her family...holds good for his sisters and mamaji too

This is meant ONLY for the believers of god...in our humanly life there are situations that we face and are not happy abt it...we might have faced too much trouble...and in many cases we might have even lost near and dear ones or even fought with our near and dear ones because of a misunderstanding ...and then stopped talking with them too...diff ugly/bad/humiliating/sad situations in life...but in spite of all this have we stopped loving god ?? Have we stopped praying to god?? Have we stopped folding our hands in front of god?? Have stopped respecting god?? In fact more troubles more closer to god rt ??


Now coming back to our serial... when this character " DEV " considers his mom as god and doesnt believe in any other forms of god , can he stop loving her, or talking to her or listening to her or stop respecting her??

So the questions is no matter what happens ...and what his mom does...would Dev disagree with his mom or cut his relationship with her??

Think about it and let me know your thoughts...eagerly waiting ...

PS: Now I am really scared for Sona...that hope Dev loves her and will not remarry is gone down the drain...because I feel if the divorce happens he is going to blindly listen to his god!!

Agreed, that image has to collapse..and that can only happen when something will happen to Sona..

I am sure Sona will conceive now...but there might be a situation where if she goes for full term pregnancy, her life would be in danger and Dr. can advise an abortion but Ishwari denies and wants the baby...might be something like this can open his eyes...This is just an example...

Dev prayed to GOD when he was a kid.. among many other things, his poverty ridden background, his father's death, were all attributed to GOD being unfair. He ceased worship.

I think we are at a very interesting stage of the show... something has got to happen now... we are quite close..

Now this keeps me wondering what will that one issue be which will collapse Ishwar's image and when ??

It has to be life threaten issue created by his mom...which is beyond his control to correct or any humanly powers ...what do you think it will be...😕
