Right now I dont want to justify any character or scene in the show just I have few words on Devs character...Since beginning they have shown Dev and Ish relationship more than a mother and son but it was not understood by most of us...but after marraige bit by bit I am understanding it..Dev is not only son but also a family head along with Ish...as he lost his father since young age he has been conditioned to do everything for family ...like he always take collective family responsibility and decisions...this is the equation he shares with his mother ...and in this he is failing as a husband..Bijoy clearly sees this that Dev is not keeping upto his promises ...like he is a husband in bedroom but when he is with his family he acts like a senior fatherly type family head ...in this way he forgets about his promises towards his wife...
And he also expects from others to understand him like yesterday he told ish that I thought you will understand me...before marraige also when he asked about marraige proposal to Sona to his mother..she was confused and he took her silence as consent for his marraige..yesterday also he did same thing ..he took Sona silence as her consent for treatment...he has lots of expectations from his wife and mother...He feels that it is hiz duty to keep his family intact and united ..at any cost...he wants his mother wife to unite at any cost..so for this again he is going to compromise his wifes health ...he has both progressive and regressive thinking and there is always conflict going on his actions...he does something progressive as a good hubby and SIL but very next day he has to go in regressive mode as Ishwari son and family head of Dixits..the the reason we are seeing up and downs in Devs character graph..hope u all agree with my views
