We all want to see a strong Sonakshi who is not a doormat but can give it back to Ishwari if her MIL is unreasonable but we don't want the Dev doing the same .Today we are questioning Dev for replying back to Bijoy who has always been unfair to Dev .About not replying to RR when she was accusing Sonakshi ..was Dev present during the entire scene ? He entered when Bijoy was calling his mom a nataunki. Is this how a mature person speaks about another adult ? If we see from Dev''s PoV he was not wrong as his mom was not wrong here ..it was him who created this mess and he was OK if Bijoy blamed him or held his collar in front of whole world but how could he listen to Bijoy blaming his mom who was equally hurt with Dev''s lies .Dev was already guilty of his actions and I am sorry any normal person wold not like to hear someone calling their mom as nautanki .Even if Ishwari was let's not forget she was not completely wrong this time .She was kept in dark and Dev did confess everything when he got a chance
This is why I always had a problem with Bijoy''s way of dealing with issues .If you always taunt and talk non sense no one would have patience to listen to your real problem and everyone would assume you as a bitter person who always cribs,whines and talk ill about others .
Before accusing of not respecting his FIL let's revisit some of the old scene
1.He respected his FIL so he was quiet when he threw Ishwari out of the house .Bijoy has come to Dixit mansion without invitation yet he was not thrown out by anyone but nothing justifies throwing a old women out of the home when all she wanted was to talk
2.He respected his FIL so he kept quiet when his FIL taunted his family members ,his culture during wedding ceremony or sang praises of his culture or insisted for complete Bengali wedding
3.He kept quiet when he was accused of forcing his wife to change when all he did was support his wife
4.He kept quiet when he was thrown out of the house at middle of night by his FIL
5.He kept quiet when he made a scene during his birthday .From the nephew drama to pushing Ishwari out of the photo when Sonakshi ,Dev and Ishwari were clicking pictures .
6.when he held his collar without knowing the complete truth or when he was talking I'll about him on phone to his daughter .
I found it strange that everything Dev did will be forgotten if he loses his temper .He is always expected to be understanding, sing praises of Sonakshi and her family .The moment he acts like human he not spared .
