That's Ishwari's core character and one cannot change overnight .Just like how Bijoy cannot be diplomatic Ishwari cannot be straight forward .It takes lot of effort for a person to change themselves .Just because Ishwari did not voice her concern immediately one cannot ignore the fact that she was hurt because of the lie .
We could argue that why didn't Dev tell his mom the pain he was feeling during breakup or why Sona did not tell her parents how she is being forced to accept Ritwick .Just because they were not open we cannoy call it as their EGO
I am not a mother either but being a daughter I have seen parents act stubborn at times and cannot understand their kids PoV as they feel their PoV is the right one .If every parent was understanding than there would no parent who would be against kids pursuing their choice of career or parents opposing inter caste marriages.At the end of the day parents are human too not God .

Really?? Who stopped her to know each and every line the agreement through the same lawyer?? Before, taking such decision she didn't think of its pros and cons?? Being illiterate can't be an excuse right?? Can we say we don't know the law so we did this crime??
Or as a layman atleast she might be aware of what divorce is right?? she might know that its an separation between husband and wife rite?? What marriage is right?? After marriage there is chance of them being parent right?? when kids are involved any one of the parent will take care of them right?? How come she expect Sona to leave her kid, whats the guarantee?? Or did she thought they will go for divorce before being parent?? or she thought she will not get them together to be a parent??
My point is if she know about marriage, divorce, surely she might be aware of kids and their future when divorce happens. Why she only thought of Dev's money not his kids in case if divorce happens?? why she didn't raise that question to the same lawyer about it?? Don't tell me Ish planned to take care of her grand kid by herself, can't buy that.
@Bold: Agree, atleast u agreed that Ishwari has some issues which differs from other normal mom. No one is asking for overnight change, atleast show something learning from their past mistakes.
Everyone knows that Ishwari's character is with flaws, needs growth, then why to defend her all wrong actions?? Lets accept her mistake.
@Bold: Its so diplomatic, we can see examples for both good and bad around us. But, those can't be justified right?? there is some difference between right and wrong na?? and its good to go in right path right??
