Awesome post.yes I started watching for Shaheer as his shows are always fresh and classy. But eventually fall in love with cvs 's way of story telling and most importantly very much in love with Erica's natural acting.
The subtle and simple way of narration is what our daily soaps lack. When I fed up of loud and unacceptable even incorrigible dramas -KRPKAB entered in my life as a gentle breeze which soothes our heart and soul with its simplicity.
I am very impressed with the leads and their unmatchble chemistry to the extent that whenever I feel low I started watching Devakshi scenes.
Hmm its true that many think that story is not in the track and even fans pleading to the makers in SNS to give their drama back.
I have no complaints though I too felt few scenes r loud and dramatic.
But still I have lot of faith in the show .yes I too want devakshi scene more and Ishwari part should be shown little subtle like initial episodes.

Thank u ji for a very beautiful post .enjoyed reading all the replies too.

Thank you! i spent my weekend watching all episodes after the reunion and i found most of them pretty good, apart from a few that were quite jarring.. overall i feel that the makers have done one hell of a job in bringing this show thus far.. 220 episodes..

Very well written post. You presented your views with great conviction. I like the show though I am quite disappointed with its execution of late.I watch the show for Shaheer. Remove him from it I will just ignore it and stop watching. To me the theme of the story equally belongs to three leads. Even infertility track. I disagree with those who say that the issue relates only to ML and FL.

I hope the story now will offer ample scope to Shaheer to expose his awesome acting skills.

you are right.. the show belongs to all three. However, one cannot remove shaheer and the show will fall flat. I think if you remove even Supriya or Erica, it will fall flat. it is all about perspective. I just cannot visualise anyone else donning the role of Dev, Sona and Ishwari.. the three actors do it with panache.

Awesome post.take a bow. 👏 I totally agree that the story is not about 2 but 3 leads. Ishwari is the way she is because of Dev. He is the one who needs to ask Ishwari why she cannot be happy with his choice. Also let her know that she cannot make decisions for Dev without consulting him. Let her know his decision and ask her to respect it.

It is as much as Dev growing up as it is about Ishwari. He needs to learn to be assertive with his family and not let Ishwari be the focal point in his marriage at all times. He needs to own up to say my choice, my decision which is not biased by Ishwari.

I also wish for Dev-Sonakshi to be together in this tough time. But it iOS up to Dev to make that happen. Right now Sonakshi is ina very vulnerable state susceptible to emotional blackmail. Dev has to stay strong and not let Ishwari manipulate. No matter what he needs to say NO to Ishwari when she demands certain things. Like the fertility treatment or divorce or remarriage.

I am also looking forward to their journey in2017.

I am quite sure that Dev will have a positive role to play going foward.. his true feelings will come to the fore.. and i hope the makers do not push his role only to that of creating problems.. he should also solve problems too. We need a balanced view.

@pkbdas61 : Simplicity. That is the only reason I am watching this soap. 😊 Simple story telling adds brownie points to it. Well written post.

The Creatives have a story and let them say it. I was happy that each track has been closed within a required time frame and not dragged on endlessly. The infertility track with Ishwari's behaviour may also end this week. I hope so. While, the three main characters are an essential for the storyline, I hope Neha's story is also played out. I also want to see Mamaji back. And Elena taking up some responsibilities- she can probably take up a job. It's better than whiling away her time. 😃

Dev-Sonakshi and Ishwari's relationship after the revelation, would be something worth a watch. I am hoping it's not made melodramatic.

all valid points Rekha.. like it was said in another post, this week is crucial.. hope they maintain the simplicity to regain its strength.. Hope they keep Ishwari's dramatics to the minimum.

I think you are one person who is the eternal optimist and a true supporter. I have never seen you ever raving or ranting about the show. it is an exceedingly wonderful trait. you need to be awarded for this.

This show's strength is its simplicity . No OTT in any spheres be it acting or direction or ensemble or background music or plot development. The show, shows that beauty lies in simplicity . There is nothing garish about this serial.

very true.. simple things are seen with a simple heart and mind, isn't it? i think we should not overly dissect and analyze things beyond a point. 😊
