Its ok for mom's hug their Sons nd vise versa...but what I have seen is mostly when they grow up...most boys find it a lil embarrassing with the display of affection ...not that they lack affection towards their mom ...but its just that they dont express the way Dev does...so I find his love for his mom very unique too :)

yeah coz other serial doesn't focus much on ma &son relationships...(Don't kill me)I always find ish-dev hug more passionate than devakshi... devakshi hugs r mostly like friendship wala hug though I luv it

Thats the uniqueness of this show.

When the show was launched Shaheer said in this show the son doesn't want to be away from his mum.

Yes, I also felt the same. Devakshi hugs are more like casual, friendly and short. Even their scenes though cute are short for 2 minutes.

And Dev-ish hugs are tight and for longer time like their conversations. CVs should tone down their hugs. They look like passionate sometimes because of their long time.😡

I have always wondered why I find a Ishu - Dev hug kind of shows an abnormal body language...
I think it has to do with comfort zone they share ...and we feel passionate because we dont get to see such a tight hug from Sona and Dev...there is always a distance maintained when Dev and Sona hugs...where as with Ishu and Dev its more comfortable...

ideally in reality mom-son hug or wife - husband hug should be on a very comfortable level...with no hesitance ...but the way its done clearly will tell you the difference betwn the two...

here when we compare Ishu- Dev hug looks more passionate because the CV teams have not shown such tight hug betwn Dev and Sona even after their marriage...they might look hot and passionate but when you see their body language their hugs are a lil hesitant ...only exception for this one is during the confession ...it was a close and a tight one...but all the others were more like friends...( not talking of the dance sequence ...again in that distance was maintained a different emotion was shown ...the urge to be together )

The mom- son hug very much shows maternal instincts but we tend to compare it with Dev and Sona's hug...sadly we never got a passionate tight hug from them ...

( Even during their patch up I thought they would hug tight atleast Dev would place couple of pecks on her face ...but nothing of that happened...it was more a friendly hug again )

I find their very weird actually...its like side hug bhi to kar sakte hai
Par nahi they hug each other like lovers...sona ko bhi dev itni tight hug nahi deta

I could be wrong at my assessment.I feel Shaheer share more comfort level with Supriya Ji then Erica.That's why it reflects on-screen.Having seen his SP show n the hugs in that show.It was always a tight hug be it front or back.Don't get why in this show he is hesitant to hug so tightly.The two hugs shown in Monday N Tuesday epi between DevAkshi lacked the intensity n passion.It was like a normal hug between two friends.Were as Ish N Dev hug in yest epi n also the epi were he promises that he will not call Asha as Mom.Both the hugs were so tight n passionate.

Some time I feel he conscious while doing romantic scenes with Erica.May be he don't want to do passionate romance.So that fans ship them so madly.To avoid this.He is being careful.
