A leggy lass was walking on the busy campbell street of sydney.A toat bag hanging from one shoulder,a black wheeled cabin bag being dragged by her,with a football fitted in the cavity between her left hand and hips.

Blowing a babypink bubble gum and screening the entire place with her chiseled black eyes she waits for a cab.

A yellow cab immediately comes and halts for her rendering much to her excitement.

"Like seriously! India mein hoti toh shayad ek bhi cab nahi rukti"she mutters to herself before hopping inside.

She directs the driver to the avenue she wanted to reach and within few minutes she was standing amidst a row of beautiful extravagant designer homes.Her mom and massi were born etheral when it came to lifestyle she thought smiling at her thoughts.

"Maasi I'm home"she says entering inside and asiding all her luggage away from herself and sprawling herself on the couch.

"Teri maa bhi kitni matlabi hai"Shalu maasi says coming towards Sona.

"Ab kya kiya maa ne?"Sona asks lazily lying on the couch.

"Jab meri zaroorat thi tabhi meri yaad aayi...bhala koi apni choti behen se itna khafa rehta hai"shalu maasi says adamantly.

"Maasi aapki naatak karne ki aadat kab jayegi...kaun kahega ki aap sexy smart ladki ki mom hai"sona says laying her head in her lap.

"Tu baatein matt bana main gussa hu teri mom se"she says stubbornly

"Arey maasi calm down last vacation toh aaye they hum sab yaha...bhoolgayi aap itni jaldi"sonakshi says putting an arm around shalu maasi's arm and reminding her.

"Iss waqt kiss maqsad se yaha bheja meri badi behen ne tujhe..."shalu maasi asks cocking an eyebrow.

"Wahi jo maqsad aaj tak unka adhura hai...woh mujhe pura karna hai unke liye aur phir dad k liye bhi"she says with her moist eyes.

"Main tere saath hu beta lekin ek baat yaad rakhna in sabme unlogo ka dil nahi dukhana jo tujhe sachme pyaar karte hai...kahin aisa na ho dusro ko manane mein apne paraye hojaye"she says advicing her to which she cringes her nose.

"Sourav dada koi dusre nahi hai...bhai hai wo mere...chahe woh mujhe yaad rakhe ya na rakhe...maine hamesha yaad rakha hai unhe aur mujhe bharosa hai woh firse humari family ka hissa banajayenge"she says remembering her childhood days with sourav.

"Mujhe laga hum milkar bohot saari gossip karenge par lagta hai yaha sab dukhiyare bhare pade hai"elena says standing on the staircase,cladded in a skinny jeans and a red tube top.

"chutki"sonakshi says running up towards her for a barehug.

"Sona call me Ela...not chutki..."she says flipping her hairs.

"Tu kabhi nahi badlegi"sonakshi says pulling her cheeks.

"I have a reputation of the most sexiest girl of the college aur agar waha pata chalgaya ki mujhe'chutki ' bulate hai toh...toh meri image ka kya hoga...you know I'm already so famous amongst boys"Elena says walking on her peeptoes like doing a rampwalk.

"Angrezo k beech mein rahegi toh...unhi ki aadatein seekhegi na"Shalu bua says mocking at elena.

"Mom! take a chill pill"Elena says high fiving Sonakshi.

"Whatever!"Shalu bua says leaving them alone.

"Sunna Elena...mujhe kuch batana hai..."she was about to continue further when Elena stopped her.

"Sabkuch pata hai mujhe aasha maasi already informed me aur ha sourav dada ko hum milkar wapas layege...ye sab toh mujhe pata hai...iske alawa kuch jo mujhe na pata ho...you know what I mean"she says nudging Sonakshi to spill out something about her life.

"I broke up with him"Sonakshi says heaving a tired sigh.

"OMG! par kyu...kitna hot banda tha yaar woh...itna bada atyachaar kyu kari tune karan pe"Elena says wiping her invisible tears.

"Ohh drama queen...zara apni gaadi ko lagaam de...atyachaar usne mujhpar kiya by being disloyal with me and you know I hate infidelity So I broke up"she says casually popping another bubble gum in her mouth.

"Then too...you guys were together for like six months"elena says counting mentally.

"Wrong! 8 months and twenty...twenty four days"Sona corrects her.

"Then? are you okay?are you over with your heartbreak?"Elena asks looking concerned for her

"Chill elena...I dont care now raat gayi baat gayi...I donno who is Karan and Karan dont know who is Sonakshi...so we're over officially"she says winking at elena

"Accha hai waise bhi tere type ka banda nahi tha woh..."elena says resting her arm on Sona's shoulder.

"Tujhe bada pata hai mujhe konsa banda suit karega"Sonakshi says placing all her clothes in the wardrobe.

"Haa ek banda toh hai...bilkul teri tarah...football ka deewana...ladkiyo mein mastana aur jiska hai rajputo ka gharana"elena says thinking about the guy she was describing.

"Ohh really kaun hai ye banda?"she asks nudging her.

"famous footballer Dev Dixit"she says making sona go awery about him.

"chalo koi toh takkar dega mujhe football mein"she says folding her arms across her chest and smirking at herself.

"Aur pata hai uska best buddy kaun hai?"Elena asks her.

"Kaun?"she asks narrowing her eyebrows.

"Sourav dada! dono ek dusre k best friends hai...toh tu sochle tujhe kise patana hai...sourav dada ko ya fir dono ko"elena says making Sonakshi go a little nervous after liatening about sourav dada.

"Waise plan kya hai tera? Sourav dada k samne hum jayenge aur bolege ki ghar ajaiyye toh woh bilkul nahi aayege...kuch na kuch locha karna padega"elena says winking at Sonakshi.

"Humari thinking kitni milti hai...Locha toh bohot bada karnewali hu main"Sonakshi says explaining elena everything about her plan to which she listened carefully.

"I'm in"she says jumping up in joy.

"Lekin beware kisiko bhi ye pata nahi chalna chahiye humare plan k baare mein...like nobody"she warns elena to which she nods confidently.

"So...ready Sonakshi...for first step of the plan"Elena asks taking her bag and standing at the door.

"Like always"she says giving herself last look in the mirror and holding her football.

"Kaha jarahi ho tum dono"shalu maasi's voice stops them from moving ahead.

"Woh actually...mom...Sonakshi is gonna join my college so...hum admission k liye jarahe hai"she says dragging her out and settling in the car and whisking away as soon as possible.Shalu maasi stood there looking gobsmacked with their speed.

"Hey bhagwan meri dono atrangi bacchiyo ki iss paraye shehar mein raksha karna"she joins her hands and prays internally.

At the College;

"Sonakshi jaisa humne decide kiya tha...tujhe do forms bharne hai...submit both and get your hostel keys"elena ensures her.

"Dont worry! I'll buzz when I'm done"Sonakshi says assuring her.

She goes and fills two forms for herself and very carefully tricks the warden for two keys one for her and one for her so called fake twin brother,which was she herself.

"Sona dekh abhi aage tujhe handle karna hoga...make sure k kisiko bhi pata na chale ki sameer aur Sonakshi tu hi hai"Elena alerts her as sona gave her an assuring smile.

"Dont worry main koi galti nahi karungi"Sonakshi says very confident about their plan.

"Okay Cool then! I'm leaving for my lectures...you too resume with your first day in college"Elena says wishing her goodluck.

"According to class schedule I have my commercial law class...So meet you soon during lunch time chutki"Sonakshi says to which Elena grunts in dismay.

"Remember no chutki...only Ela"Elena says again correcting her.

"Haa Sorry Ela..."sonakshi says bidding her goodbye and walking away.

"Room number 120"Sonakshi was hurrying for her class and searching for the room but was brawled up by other fellow students in the college.

She collides with someone on the way and before she could recognise with whom she collided she got up and immediately hushed a sorry to the person and sprang away to the other floor.

"University k sabse popular ladke se takrayi aur ek Hi bhi nahi bola...lagta hai nayi hai college mein..."Dev says getting up and dusting his pants.

"Mera football kaha gaya?"he says picking up the other football which was lying there.Then he remembered the collision with the girl and thought mayb it got replaced with hers.

"Ab iss ladki ko kaha dhundu?"he mutters despondently to himself.

He rushes for his commercial law class and just reached in time before the professor arrived.

Sourav was busy decoding a security code and awaiting Dev's arrival.Usually Dev used to sit with sourav but unfortunately his seat was occupied by someone else and so Dev had to take the seat in front of sourav.

"kya hogaya tune tera lucky football change karliya"Sourav says smirking at him.

"Nahi yaar woh kisi ladki se takra gaya aur uska ball mujhse exchange hogaya"Dev says scratching his head.

"Kya? kya kaha tune?"Sourav says turning his entire attention on Dev.

"Ladki se ball exchange hogaya!!"he says repeating it again.

"Bhagwan teri sunli...ladke k badle ladki dedi footbalk wali"he says laughing hard.

"Yaar dheere bol mere female fans sunna nahi chahiye"Dev says winking at his female batchmates and they werent too less they too were giving him full permission to flirt with them

The professor came inside and a pindrop silence prevailed.Everyone opened their notes and were busy nodding their heads in a yes even though they didnt understand a single word from his teaching.

"May I come in Sir?"Sonakshi asks panting for air and standing on the doorstep.

"Yes! but...who..."the professor was about to continue his question when Sonakshi cut him.

"I'm...I'm Sonakshi Thakur...just got stuck up im fiming the classroom"she says scanning the room and seeing all of the students eyes pasted on her exclusively.She waved a hi to all of them recieving a serious look from the professor.She couldnt have revealed her real surname because Sourav would be suspicious about it then.

She saw him sitting and busy glued on the phone hiding it from the professor.Her heart jumped with happiness seeing his dada after 10 years..Many things had changed since then.He had left his dad's family and shifted to sydney with his mom.The last thing she heard was that his mom too passed away rendering him alone and isolated.

"I have a lecture to continue...hurry up and grab your seat"the professor orders her thus breaking her trance.She goes and grabs the place nearest to sourav thus sitting beside Dev.

She smiled looking at Dev who winked at her.He thought she would get charmed by his aura but she showed him a middle finger.His eyes widened up and his throat going all dry.For the first time in his life a girl wasnt charmed by him and instead pestered his flirting.

He kept looking at her and she was busy blowing her bubble gum and using her phone hiding it behind the back of the preceeding student.

For a second she turned towards him and saw him gawking at her like a salivating dog.He immediately starts looking down on the bench but he freaks up more seeing something written on the bench.He immediately hides it pasting his palm on it which didnt go unnoticed by her.

She eyed his hand covering the bench and then looked back at him.He just gave her a foolish smile and tried ignoring her.The whole lecture he covered the desk patch with his hand and Sona was curious to know what he was hiding.

"Tumhari shoe lace khuli hai"she says looking down at his shoes.He immediately pulls back his hand and was about to bend down when he saw Sona reading what was written on the bench

"Suck my dick"was written in bold letters with a black marker.She read it again and then shot him a deathly glare.

"I swear ye maine nahi likha...I was hiding it because I thought you would assume that I wrote it"Dev says to her as she gritted her teeth at him.Dev was speaking the truth and he cursed internally the idiot who wrote it.

"You two! out of my class"the professor says hitting them with a chalk piece and grabbing their attention.

Both Dev and Sonakshi looked at each other and stood up immediately and the looked back at the professor.

"gayi bhains paani mein"Sourav squeals softly as Devakshi stood like culprits in front of the strict professor.

Sonakshi grabs her stuff and walks furiously stomping her foot on the ground.Dev follows her out of the class.

"kaise badtameez insaan ho tum...desi ladki dikhi nahi ki chalu padgaye"she huffs in dismay standing out of the class.He tries explaining but she wasnt ready to listen

"Chup ! bilkul chup!"he says clasping her mouth close with his palm and pinning her to the wall.Her breath gets hitched as he aligns her face real close to hers.He stares in her eyes intently making her forget her words

She tries speaking but due to his hand she couldnt except giving out soft shrieks.He immediately releases his hand from her mouth.

"tum sab ladkiyo ka dimaag aisa kyu hota hai...hamesha waisa sochti rehti hai"he says blatantly.

"waisa kaisa?"she asks him.

"waisa waisa"he says indicating with his eyes.

"accha waisa! kyuki tum jaise ladke hote hai isliye"she retorts back at him.

"O hello !..."he was about to continue further when the professor steps out.

"I have just removed you from the class if you continue creating a chaos here I will throw you out of this university"he warns them as they straighten up themselves in front of him.

After the professor goes away Dev gives a furious look at Sonakshi.She just avoids his gaze and starts walking ahead.

He starts walking beside her,much to her suprise.

"Tumhe college ka tour karwa sakta hu"he says dignitantly.

"kyu tum college k guide ho kya?"she asks chewing on her bubble gum.

"Nahi but I like you...toh socha tumhe impress karne ka isse accha mauka nahi milenga"he says winking at her.She looks at him wide eyed and then winks him back.

"Itni jaldi pyaar hogaya mujhse? lagta hai koi firangi yaha pasand nahi aayi"she says strolling through the correndum.

"Desi ka maza firangiyo mein kaha"he says flirting with her.

"Dekho Mr...I just had a breakup...and..."she pauses because she didnt knew his name.

"Mr.Dev Dixit"Dev says calling out his name confidently.

She immediately stiffens hearing his name.Elena had already told her that he was the famous footballer of the college and best buddy of sourav.Inorder to get back sourav she had to make Dev as a link between them.If he didnt be friends with him then everything would seem more difficult for her.

"toh?"he asks snapping in front of him.

"toh...I need a break...we can be friends though"she says sliding her bag strip up and down.

"Aap jhoot bolrahi hai"he says freaking her more.

"Kya? kaise..."she asks chewing her bubble gum rigidly.

"kyuki aapka haat bataraha hai aap kuch chupa rahi hai...aur mujhe patane ki koshish karrahi hai"he says narrowing his eyebrows and looking at her hands which were moving up and down her bag strap.

"Tum kuch zyada hi sochrahe ho Mr.Dev"she says acting as normal as possible.

"Waise tum bade hi mazedaar insaan ho...tumhare saath dost banne mein maza aayegi"she says smacking his shoulders.

"abhi abhi toh main tumhe badtameez lagraha tha...aur achanak mera naam sunne k baad tumhara behaviour badal gaya..."Dev says recieving a furtive glance from her.

"Nahi aisa...kuch nahi...hai...woh actually..."she was about to continue when she saw someone calling out for Dev.

"Oh no not again"Dev mutters hearing the person calling out to him.

Sonakshi sees the girl rushing on her heels towards him as Dev closes his eyes and curses his fate.

"Ye item kaun hai?"Sonakshi asks eyeing the girl from top to bottom who was heavily decked up with makeup and gaudy dress.

"Nats"he squeals while crinkling his nose in dismay.

"Dev where were you...tumhe pata hai meri team ne ek nayi cheer leading pose invent kari...and in your next match we are gonna launch it"Natasha says sticking to Dev purposely thus irking him.Sona stood there and giggled at her madness.

"And baby give a bright smile...mujhe ye pic humare team k page par upload karna hai...and dekhna saari ladkiya fir kaise jalegi humse"she says forcing Dev to smile for a selfie.

"Nats...abhi kuch nahi dekhna hai mujhe...woh kya hai na...mujhe ek assignment karna hai meri riend k saath"he says pulling Sona close to him.

"Ohh Noo!! who is she?"Natasha asks looking at Sona as if she was some extra territral species.

"Hie I am a girl"Sonakshi replies cleverly.

"Woh toh mujhe bhi dikhraha hai...lekin Dev ne tumhare baare mujhe kuch bataya nahi"she says looking at sonakshi enviously.

"Woh toh usne mujhe bhi nahi bataya"sonakshi squeals in laughter at him.

"Dev baby chuck your assignment main tumhari help kardungi...come with me I wanna show some sexy poses to you for our annual magazine"Natasha says trying to grab his attention.

"Nats! please...understand...I cant"he says unclasping her hand from his and dragging Sonakshi away from there rendering Natasha burn with jealousy.

"Girls any idea who is this desi chick in college?"she asks her fellow girl friends looking at Sonakshi's retrieving figure.

Here Dev dragged Sonakshi away from Natasha and she was still laughing hard seeing Dev's uneasiness around her.

"bade famous banke ghumte ho...lekin ye 'Nats' ki wajah se tumhare 'nut' ko kya hogaya"she asks poking towards his head.

"She has OCDD"he replies immediately.

"OCDD? ye kya hota hai"she asks looking confused.

"College ki har ladki ko ye disorder hai...its called Obsessive Compulsive Dev Disorder"he says raising his invisible collars

"Ohh...I see"she says shrugging her shoulders.

"Tumhe nahi hai...par dheere dheere hojayega"he says confidently.

"I bet nahi hoga"she says popping another bubble gum inside her mouth.

"hogaya toh?"he asks coming in front of her and blocking her way.

"nahi hoga...I'm damn confident...dusro ki tarah main pagal nahi hu...tum mein hai hi kya...jisse main impress hojau"she says as her brows furrowed in middle

"Dont tell me tum impress nahi hui abhitak"he says disappointingly.

"Ofcourse I didnt"she says sounding cynical.

"Tumne socha bechari abla desi naari...nayi nayi aayi hai college mein...thoda line maaroge toh tumhare jaal mein phas jaungi...but trust me main itni jaldi patnewali nahi hu"she says defensively.

"Ladkiya marti hai mujhpar aur ek tum ho jo mujhe itna avoid karrahi ho"he huffs tiredly.

"Tum sab ladko ka dimaag ek jaisa hota hai...isiliye I wont fall in your trap"she says bluntly.

"isse pehle ki main tumse takrao humari aankhen mile...isharo mein baatein ho...pyaar bhare sapne aane lagey...tum mujhe propose karne k tareeke dhundne lago main abhi tumhe I Love You kehdeti hu...isse tum khush hojaoge aur mera peecha chod dogey"she says standing right in front of him and gazing in his eyes intently.He stands there like a mute guy searching for words to make a sentence.

"Tum kitni bewakoof ho"he manages to speak giving her an unwarranted smile.

"Same to you"she replies to him while he couldnt control his laughter listening to her talks.

"abtak toh main doubtful tha par ab toh mujhe tumhare se pyaar karna hai"he says controlling his loud chuckles.

"Tumhare dost bhi tumhare tarah sarphire hai kya?"she asks trying to extract some info about Sourav.

"Haa...mera matlab hai nahi...mere do best friends hai ek sourav aur dusra madhav...sourav toh apni hacking ki duniya mein magan rehta hai aur madhav ko leg injury hui hai toh he is out on medication"Dev says sitting on the spiral staircase of the lawn.Sona comes and sits beside him listening to him carefully.

"Tumhare friends?"he asks seeing her in deep thinking.

"Meri ek hi friend hai elena aur mera twin bhai bhi yahi hai...sameer naam hai uska"she says valiantly making Dev give her a onesided smile.

"Twin brother?"he asks sounding sceptical.

"Haa mera bhai...he has taken political science and business administration"she says a white lie to him thus making him believe her.

"Ahuhuhuh...intereinteresting"he says to her.

"Sourav...jo tumhara best buddy hai...woh hacking karta hai...but hacking is not safe then...why...?"she asks him trying to dig out more from him.

"He is a white hacker...he does ethical hacking...so no qualms with it"Dev replies thus releaving Sona's tension.

"aur madhav?"she asks him again.

"woh mera co-striker tha...lekin jabse uski injury hui hai...tabse humare team ka ek striker kam hai...aur annual football championship k pehle mujhe jaldi hi kisiko dhundna padega"he says sounding a bit worried.

Before Sona could talk more about sameer Dev was busy talking on phone with sourav.

"Lunch k liye join karogi hume?"Dev asks her thus bringing her out of her thoughts.

"No you guys go ahead...I have some work"she says avoiding a meeting with his group.

"Okay! as you wish!...and yes my heart has already started ticking for you"he says poking his finger at his heart and then back at her.She playfully shoves out a tongue at him and makes fun of him.

After Dev had left she immediately called Elena to discuss with her everything that happened today.

After college;

"Dekh Sona tune Dev se accha convo toh start ki par jab woh tujhe indirectly kehraha tha that he likes you...you should have given in na...why did you avoided him"elena says sitting in front of her as sonakshi was busy removing her nail polish.

"Come on Elena...main thak gayi hu relationships se...now I'm done dating anyone...Dev is not bad but I dont want it"she says feeling mortified by her failed relationships in past.

"I understand but sourav dada tak pahunchne ka rasta sirf Dev se hokar guzarta hai toh I hope you understand what I mean"she says indirectly hinting at Dev.

"Woh sab chod meri help kar sameer banne mein"she says sitting in front of the mirror and looking at Elena ecstatically.

Elena comes and stands beside her and removes out all the stuff she needed to dress as a boy.Sona gives a forlon look at all those things and then reminds herself that she had to do this for her family.

She closes her eyes and makes elena do whatever she had to.

After almost and hour Sonakshi came out wearing a long blue jersey paired with bermudas and sports shoes.Her hairs wear tied up and hidden under the punjabi turban.The fake thin moustache and slight beard gave her a cute masculine look.Elena just looked at her open mouthedly admiring her from top to bottom.

"Yaar Sona tujhe na ladka hona chahiye tha"she says in her exhiliarated tone.

"Elena main yaha nervous horahi hu aur tujhe masti soojh rahi hai"she says tapping her foot impatiently on the ground looking nervous.

"Dont worry kuch nahi hoga...just be careful with the boys...aur agar koi aur problem hui toh you can call me anytime...I know Sona you can do it"Elena assures and encourages her to start with their plan.

"Yes I can do it"she says standing up looking rejuvenated and determined.

Elena grabs her bag and hops downstairs with Sonakshi.Shalu maasi sees them and her breathe gets hitched.

"ek minute ek minute"shalu maasi says stopping them and freaking them out more.

"tu toh sonakshi k saath ghar aayi thi...phir ye sardarji kaha se aaya"shalu maasi asks looking at sonakshi suspiciously.

"Woh...mom...woh sonakshi aayi thi aur wapas bhi chali gayi...fir ye sardarji aaya...mera bada accha dost hai"elena says patting sonakshi's shoulder tightly and recieving a tough glare from her.

"O ji balle balle...O ji shava shava"Sonakshi dances her way out from Shalu maasi's sight making Shalu maasi's head twirl with giddiness.

"Hey bhaggu...mujhe kya horaha hai"she says settling on the couch and drinking a whole glass of water.

Sonakshi had already reached college diaguised as sameer and starts searching for room number 30.Some boys gave her weird looks and she just rechecked whether she had messed up with her look or not.Avoiding others gaze on her she finally finds room number 30 and enters in and enters in it but what she sees next embarasses her even more

"Yes? who are you"Dev asks just standing there in his boxers while sourav was dressed in his vest and shorts.He too looked up at Sonakshi looking clueless seeing a new guy in their room.

"Dev tum?"Sonakshi says spranging her eyes wide open while Dev looked at her flabbergasted.Something started making sense to her seeing Dev's weird expressions.She as sameer was new to Dev so there were zero percent chances that sameer knew Dev but hundered percent chances that sona knew Dev.That was her first blunder and she bit her tongue looking frightened and nervous.

"I dont know you but how do you know me?"Dev asks suspiciously looking at Sonakshi making a chill run down her spine.Her plan couldnt end so soon she thought,what would she do now.
