"tum...tum thik ho"he asks tapping her shoulders.She turns fiercly and hugs him tightly sobbing like never before.He was taken aback by her sudden actions.He never imagined this side of hers,he thought she was this strongheaded fearless girl.But she was so different from inside.
"He dumped me Dev...you cant even imagine how it feels when you are just thrown away out of someones life like a used tissue paper"she says making her sobs go choked up.
"Yes...I understand"he says trying to calm her down.
"No you dont...because you never experienced a breakup nor you have been dumped"she rants at him trying to take out all her anger.He stands there quietly till she finishes her grumblings.
"Sonakshi I need to drop you home"he says seeing her weak behaviour.
"Nahi jaana mujhe kahin bhi...main thak gayi hu Dev situations se bhaag bhaagkar"she says sitting down on the dark street near the lamppost.It hurts him seeing a girl so petrified over her breakup.He never imagined that coz he always took girls lightly maybe unknowingly he too must have broken hearts he thought.
"I never had a breakup Sonakshi because I never fell in love with anyone untill now"he says sitting beside her.
"So you also dumped girls"she says smacking his arms roughly.
"No...I never dumped anyone...it was just for some time being she would go her way I would go my way and it ended there...nobody's loss"he says making it clear to her.
"Sab ladke ek jaise hote hai"she gritts her teeth at him and pinches his arm angrily.
"Ouch! that hurts"he says rubbing his arm.
"Nats k saath bhi..."she asks sounding a little insecure.
"What! noways...woh mere peeche padi hai main nahi"he says giving out a tired huff.
"Aur ha har koi ladka ek jaisa nahi hota...apni ye mentality badlo"he says poking in her head.
"Tum kabhi nahi samjhoge...Dev leave it"she says tilting her face away from him and looking on the opposite side of the road.
"Tum agar mujhe bataogi toh shayad help kar paunga"he says whispering in her ear thus startling her.
"Its not that this was my first relationship...but definitely it was Love for me"she says resting her head on the lamppost while he heard her silently.
"then..."he asks her.
"I thought maybe I found the love of my life and so me and karan used to spend a lot of time together...it had been six months that we were in together"she says remembering about her past.
"then..."
"Then I donno about him but I was falling for him more n more and then...we did it"she says closing her eyes and letting her tears fall.
"you mean...you did that"he asks her looking baffled.
"Yes...that and it was all hunky dory after that for us..."she says in between her chokes.
"then..."
"Then he wanted to do it again...but I wasnt ready so I denied him...Love doesnt always needed to be shown physically and so I wasnt comfortable with him...I donno why"she huffs in irritation and disgustion.
"then..."
"Then one fine day at a party I saw him all mushy with another girl...it was such a jolt for my heart...I mean we had spend so much time together...shared so much about each others life and me like an idiot had also planned about our future and when I saw him dragging his tongue down through some other girls throat I felt so crushed and berefted"she says hiding her face inbetween her palms and crying her heart out.
"then..."
"then he came towards me and confessed that I wasnt of any use to him and that he had already moved on with a better chic"she says wiping her tears which werent ceasing to stop.
"then..."
"Then what...Dev he dumped me in front of everyone...in front of my entire social circle...do you even know how does it feel"she asks him sounding tormented.He tries to explain her but then she was in no mood to listen.
"then my parents were embroiled in their own frequent argumets daily,my brother abandoned me he was my best friend...everything just messed up all together"she says as all the event that had happened in her life flashed in front of her eyes.
"then..."
"jabse then then kare jaarahe ho...aur kya batau sab toh bata di"she says pursing her lips and sneering away from him.
"ab pata chala tumhe ladko se itni problem kyu hai..."she says smiling sarcastically at him.
"sab ek jaise nahi hote"he replies back instantly.
"O really ! ye tum kehrahe ho jiske ird gird ladkiya ghoomti firti rehti hai..."she mocks at him to which he rolls his eyes off her.
"I know I like female attention but trust me with whomever I was till now we never went below the belt"he confesses to which she gives him a sceptical look.
"aur tumhe lagta hai main believe karlungi"she says smiling onesidedly.
"Main sach kehraha hu...I wouldnt like to pop up a baby in a woman whom I dont love"he says sounding prudent with his points.She gives him a silent look registering the things he just confessed.
"Good for your future wife"she says patting his back.
"What if that is you"he says sounding confident and frank.
"tum mera peecha abhi bhi nahi chodoge na...itna sab batane k baad bhi"she asks while fidgeting with her boots.
"kabhi nahi"he says nearing closer towards her.
"I'm committment phobic Dev after whatever has happened I dont have the strength to committ to any other guy"she makes it clear to him surrendering her arms up while he just nods his head acting like a good listener.
"tum bure ladke nahi ho...I like you"she says recieving a happy stare from him.
"as friends"she continues as his smile droops down.
"tumhe ek advice du"he asks as she gestures from her eyes to continue.
"Tumhe khush hona chahiye that tumhara breakup hogaya...ek aise ladke k saath jo tumhari value hi nahi karta tha...tell me one thing when he dumped you what did you do the next second"he asks making her staunch at him with an amused look.
"I...umm...I cried"she says avoiding his gaze.
"aur?"he asks awaiting impatiently.
"and I cried more n more"she says casually.
"bas?"he asks sounding pensive
"haa aur kya karti"she asks him.
"tum na acting bohot acchi karleti ho...bahar se sabko dikhati ho ki tum kitni strong ho aur koi tumse panga nahi le sakta...aur andar se utni nazuk aur darpoke ho"he says to her and she looks gloomily at him because he was absolutely right,in just two days he had identified her who nobody else did in her entire life,not even her busy mom.
"tumhe kaise pata?"she asks him suspiciously.
"Pata nahi...but I know I'm not wrong"he says brushing her arms with his.
"tumhe gussa utarana hai?"he asks her to which she furrows her brows at him.
"kaunsa gussa?"she asks him.
"that karan dumped you woh gussa"he says and she immediately snaps her head towards him.
"kaise?"she asks him burning with rage.
"chalo mere saath"he says getting up and drove on his pillion with her towards a secluded factory which had nothing but junks and a lot of junks
"yaha khandar mein gussa kaise utaru"she asks him looking confused.
He takes her inside and makes her stand amidst a huge pile of glass and steal junk,which were rusted machine parts,wearied glass furnitures,bear bottles etc.He handed her a hard baseball bat to which she again gave him a confused look.
"abhitak jitna gussa bhara pada hai tumhare andar the pain you have gone through,the sleepless nights which you spend crying for him...everything related to him just finish it off here.Todo jabtak tod sakti ho...start your Big Bang theory"he says standing away from her as she gripped on the baseball tightly and gave him an assuring smile.
She banged and crashed and smashed everything that came her way thinking it is karan and removed all her bottled up anger by smashing the hell out of the junk present in front of her.She couldnt lift some stuffs but she exerted herself;lifted them up and broke them into tiny pieces with each hit her shrieks and cries grew louder,Dev stood quitely at the side letting her do her work.She remembered their moments together and the moment he dumped her and with an impulsive hit she broke the huge old mirror into pieces which reflected her worn out cribby face.
she looked at herself in those pieces she was never so weak and vulnerable in her life,she was the queen of her life,knew what was right and wrong for her,her dad's princess,her mom's stubborn girl,her brothers snobby sister.She wanted her peaceful life back,this depressing life had taken a toll on her,she hadnt slept peacefully from the time karan dumped her.She wanted to finish everything related to him,bang away all her sorrows,smash all her insecurities,crash all her nightmares and accept her normal happy life back.She wanted to getup each morning without thinking of the nightmares she had lastnight,without thinking of how to ward away the dreadful memories of karan,without thinking of how to paste a happy smile in front of everyone so that nobody identifies the real self she hides inside.For once she wanted to fall in love all over again and this time not meet with a bad fate.
It pained to see her so weak,anguished,heartbroken.He cursed that idiot who broke her heart,he knew for trusting another guy she would need a whole lot of time and maybe he was somewhere ready to wait for her,maybe forever.From the first day he started falling for her and after todays confession he was irrevocably in love with her.
She smashed everything to pieces and even axed the wood junkies.She was aggresive and bereaved in crinkling everything to pieces,her anger was let out and now she felt so light and relieved as if she was born again and that happiness a toddler has when he gets his favourite toy starts flowing in her veins.
She comes and returns the bat back to him,her sweaty face radiating the glow and jubilant aura.She stood next to him grinning from one ear to the other.
"baat karni hai?"he asks her.
"kisse?"she asks him confusedly.
"karan se"he says to which she furrows her brows at him in amusement.
"Yes saale ko uski aukaad batati hu...hai kaun woh jo mujhe dump karega"she says winking at him and calling him.
He gives her a thumbs up,and waits beside her as she inhales deeply.
"Hello karan!"
"Who is this?"
"teri shaamat"
"Sonakshi tum?"
"saale teri aukaad hi kya hai jo tu mera naam leraha...ghanchakkar kahin ka ek jagah toh tikti nahi teri har jagah muh maarta rehta hai"
"what kind of language is that"
"Language gayi bhaad mein...tujhe pata hai mujhe na tujhe thank you bolna chahiye...kyuki teri meherbaani se tu meri life mein nahi hai...aur tujhe kya laga hai tu mujhe dump karega aur main tere intezaar mein roti rahungi..."
"Sonakshi we can talk peacefully"
"arey tujhse milungi tab mere haat baat karege aise chapet lagaungi na tujhe ki tujhe teri par nani yaad aajayegi..."

"Aur tu kya mujhe dump karega karan main hi tujhe dump karti hu meri life se,meri memories se aur mere dil se...you are busted for me"
"Sonakshi listen to me"
"You listen to me Karan...you are just a cranky old mess who doesnt hold any value in my precious life...your filthy thinking is as tiny as your dick...so have a good f**ked up life ahead"she says disconnecting the call and sliding it inside her pocket.Dev gives out a tired sigh and claps for her.
"Ab tum Sonakshi ki tarah lagrahi ho"he says as she gives him a wide smile.
"thank you Dev! I am feeling...so relaxed so happy so rejuvenated...Wow I dont even remember when did I feel like this since ages"she says hugging him tightly and jumping in his hug making him squeal in laughter at her.
"You are the best"she says again hugging him tightly.
"Sonakshi itna hug karogi toh fir main control nahi karpaunga"he says making her giggle at him.
"tum nahi sudhroge"she says hitting her head playfully.
"manna padega kya bhadki ho tum karan pe"he says bowing infront of her.
"Jab band bajaati hu toh samnewale ka band nahi orchestra bajati hu"she says walking out of the old factory with him.
"Ek baat bolu"he says pulling her towards himself roughly.
"Mujhe pyaar hogaya hai tumse...woh bhi tagdawala"he says as she stiffens under his hold listening to him.She didnt knew what to reply and therefore was finding it difficult to search for words.
His eyes held so much honesty and love for her,it was weird for her.
"muh dekho tumhara kaisa utar gaya"he says breaking into a gig on her face.She blinks her eyes infront of him looking confused.
"Mazaak tha...ab chalo"he says freeing her from his grip while she gives out the breathe which she had held up since the last minute.
Dev gets a phonecall from Sourav,
"Arey tu party mein aaraha hai ya nahi?"
"Damn! Sourav main toh bhul hi gaya"
"toh abhi aaja overnight party hai toh koi problem nahi hai...I want you here man ! humari aur dusri teams sab enjoy karrahe hai yaha...this party is incomplete without you Dev"
"thik hai I'm coming"he says disconnecting the call.
"kiska call tha?"she asks him
"Main tumhe ghar drop kardeta hu...fir mujhe party mein jaana hai sourav k saath"he says settling on the bike.
"Wow! party main bhi chalu?"she asks him rhinking she could initiate a convo with his brother there.
"Dude woh all boys party hai tum waha aakar kya karogi"he replies to her.
"fir toh aur maza aayega...please please please"she pleads infront of him cutely and he had to give in atlast.
"Fine chalo! but handle yourself properly there"he advices her and she sits back on his pillion all excited to enjoy an all boys party
