Just curious...in this they say Sonakshi has inhospitable uterus ...but they dont say why it is...and in most of the spoilers say she can never be a mother...but the dr said 7% chances in a natural manner which means medications can change things rt OR Is it that women with inhospitable Uterus can never conceive ?
Ppl what do you all think...any idea?

Any Doctors in this forum ? If yes please share your thoughts on this...

I think inhospitable uterus means uterus is v weak hence there is a very high probability that the pregnancy may not reach full term. They maynt have issues in conceiving but carrying it till full term vl b an issue . To one my friend here Drs did a surgery while she was in her 4th month to avoid miscarriage...its basically some stitches in the uterus...she had multiple pblms but she delivered a healthy boy...Drs advise such patients to take complete rest. in the story also I think she vl b pregnant . Dev who was an atheist has surrendered himself to God. This time if God didn't answer his prayers he vl never believe in God . I hope CVs have created this track for correcting Devs equation with God. if this happens my heartfelt kudos for CVs.

Have a look online. And if possible find our thread from last week. We discussed the same
I am not a doctor. But know a thing or two about reproductive health. The character either has problems with her fallopian tubes or the uterus cannot host the fetus. Both of these make conception and full term pregnancy hard. Not sure where 7% came from. The character still produces a healthy egg as far as we can tell. Usually such cases have ectopic pregnancies. Google this.

Miscarriage is highly likely

I don't know what makers have in mind.

No inhospitable uterus means that a full normal pregnancy is not possible. Think of it like this, if you are living in an area where you don't like the climate/temperature or people, you would want to move out from there. Similarly in the uterus (a home for the fetus) must be in a certain temperature, pH, and a certain way for the fetus or fertilized egg to travel and latch in the uterus for the 10 months. Because in Sona's case it is inhospitable the egg and sperm will be fertilized and even travel down to the uterus from the Fallopian tubes, but it will not be able to attach itself to the uterine lining and live there so that fertilized egg is aborted. I think the doctor meant that Sona will have a 7% chance of this not happening and actually giving birth. I hope this helps!

My friend also had a similar situation where the doctors said her uterus was weak. So when she was in her 2- 3 months of pregnancy itself, they did a surgery and put stitches in her to avoid miscarriage. They also said she had to be in a hospital on bed rest till delivery so that they can monitor her and the baby. She was also kept in kind of isolation to avoid her getting anxious or anything negative that can impact her pregnancy. I mean so that she does not go into labor. They wanted her to be calm and happy always...😊

She carried the pregnancy till 7th month and had a healthy premie baby. Her daughter is now very happy, smart and everything... 😃

Guys inhospitable uterus is a broad name given to any condition when uterus is not fit to carry pregnancy. It can be either the size is small or their is division in uterus or two small uteri or fibroids or weaknes uterus wall. These pts concieve normally but pregnancy does not reach term because fetus gets aborted. In few cases even with these problems pregnancy can reach term but baby size is small and development is poor

An inhospitable uterus is a broad term used for all the problems that lead premature termination of pregnancy. It can either be a problem in size of the uterus, problem with fallopian tubes or mostly problems with the endometrium (lining of uterus in which the fetus is implanted). These unfavourable conditions lead to miscarriages.

Hope this helped :)

I am a gynecologist.
There is no term like inhospitable uterus.
We don't use it.
In this show, Sona's condition is congenital.
That means present from birth.
There is no percentage-no doctor can say that 7%.
Not possible.
There are problems in the uterus-
Fibroids- some type of fibroids can create problems in conceiving.
For which treatment is available- removal of fibroid & woman can get pregnant.
Next is chocolate cyst in ovary- will create problems for the tubes.
There is solution for that also- surgery of the cyst & then IVF pregnancy.
Another one is cervical incompetence- weakness of mouth of uterus-this is present from birth.
But no doctor can find out this- it is only diagnosed after 4-5 months of pregnancy- woman will have painless abortion.

Surrogacy can be suggested by a doctor only if woman doesn't have uterus.
To keep the pregnancy in.

Where that 7% came from? What miracle here?
Cvs should have shown a valid reason.

There are some birth defects of uterus- septate/ bucornuate
Here also pregnancy is very much possible.

Hope I am clear.
