Fair enough. I think though if by miracle Sonakshi becomes a mother, Dev will automatically become spiritual. He never could be spiritual before because for him his mother was God. The day Dev starts to believe in the real God, I'd know that he has finally acknowledged that his mother is human.

Also, I don't want Sonakshi to ever become Mahaan by giving up on her marriage. If Ishwari blackmails her, she needs to remind Ishwari that it was her son's choice to keep her infertility a secret so that he can marry her without anyone's opposition. Now that the truth has come out, the only person who can tell her to leave is Dev, no one else. Dev took the decision to hide the report on all their behalf, this decision should also be his. Let's see how much guts Ishwari has to ask Dev to give up his wife and how Dev reacts to it.

I dont think even Dev can tell her to leave actually ! What if Dev has a low sperm count ? What if he is diagnosed with testicular cancer tomorrow? His father died young so chances of some genetical disease in him are high. He has been raised in a poor environment with unhealthy food habits and life style (sleeping pills) along with a possibility of mental illness on the mother's side. So chances of giving birth to a baby with some genetic problems are high and then raising him/her in an a very unhealthy environment is 100 % sure so why should Sona even agree to bring another human being to this world?

Expectation of this story was about two people in love together overcoming the insecurities of the mother of the Hero. This is the only list all of us if not most of us wanted.

We wanted a progressive story not the same repeat and rinse of sacrificial heroine, a dumb hero and a negative MIL. We were on board for shades of gray in everyone or flaws but not dumbness and erratic characterizations .

Times are a changing- we want the show to stay true with the changing times.

Sona a beautiful new age woman develops dumbness periodically why cant we show consistency in her character

Dev the hero ( almost the fallen hero ) why cant he be portrayed more realistically like how sometimes he sides with his mother sometimes with his wife- In essence speak up when needed

The couple why dont they COMMUNICATE isnt that what a marriage is about

Why is Sona sleuthing independently and Dev hiding one of the most important thing from her- This is not realistic portrayal of what a couple are

Easwari- What exactly is her problem why is her character see sawing that we dont know what we will get next is she insecure, malicious, mentally unstable what?

Neha- Can we address what hRe problem is dont tell me in a modern household people dont see that she has a problem

Last but not the least show positivity too in midst of problems - by this I dont mind SRK poses and childish romance but Real positivity where the family all have fun together maybe a picnic, the couple do go for a honeymoon or atleast talk about it just family and couple stuff because life is not about drama and problem solving but also just about living

Santa please atleast make a few in this list come true

quite a list u have but den i have d same wid a few more additions
i want dev to get a dnd board wich he shud start using after learning to lock his bedroom door
dev shud tell ishwari n rrst of family in clear words dat he wont tolerate anyone insulting him or sona
sona's pregnancy n infertility track shud get us protective n supportive dev who does nt take any crap againt sona
prenup shud b out n dev shud bash ishwari left right n center n give her silent treatment for atleast few daz for cheating him ...
n d list goes on

I think so too. Since the decision to hide the report and marry was Dev's, he won't be able to leave Sona this time. However, I want him to not plead with his mother for Sona, but stand up with full right and pride of a husband.

He should make it clear that Ishwari, even though she is his mother, has no right to ask him to leave his wife nor to blackmail his wife to leave her husband.

I don't want him crying/pleading/begging for his love anymore to be granted as alms. I feel it takes away the dignity of the relationship.

Totally agreed. Yes, give the relationship of husband and wife the dignity it deserves... Good points.
