Lovely contrast being drawn here though.
On one hand is Dev, who relishes every dish made by his mother, keeps it above everything else and when Vicky's mother tried the same for him, trying to play important by cooking, he brushed it off insensitively and scolded her (he treated her right thoughđ)
On one hand, Dev Sonakshi loved each other to death but without even saying a word or protesting, separated because their families were not happy. Sonakshi respected her parents so much that she at once, was ready to marry Ritwick, leaving aside everything. And only when her parents and his mother green-signalled, they married. How sensitive they were for the elders.
On the other hand are vicky-elena, who are not only inconsiderate of their families happiness, they also make it a point to insult and let down the families which have obliged them.
Yeah Exactly contrast ..thats the thing which I am constantly thinking about
Very first scene showed it..halwa scene..how dev respects and always so sensitive towards his mothr...appreciates it endlessly ...where as Vickey shouted insulted mami ( when she prepared something inspite of being injured).. Its not about how mami is ..but she is his mothr and he is suppose to atleast behave properly with her..mami might be evil rude but does that mean it gives Vicky right to insult her ??..Ish too has her flaws she too has problems (probably bigger ones) but Dev never retorted like so even if he is busy with super important meeting or any other XYZ reason..
Dev Sona sacrificed and suffered..for their family they respected their family's feelings..always kept their parent's feelings above their own's..Sonakshi went to an extent to get married to some one else ..sighh..but they waited for consent..this is Devakshi ..always giving, loving, sensitive and kind hearted <3
Today I am feeling so proud of Dev and Sonakshi..for being what they are..It might sound silly but..they do give me some major couple hubby wife goals <3 :')
I dont know whats the purpose of CVs by bringing this twist..but I am damnn sure this wild aggressive behavior of these 2 newly married idiots will gain appreciation ..and I can already see it around ..because thats what people want from Dev Sona..sighh ..lets see..I hope this move is not to show rebellious is cool and staying calm is stupid LOL..
