Hi All,

Wanted to share an incident happened with me similar to what happened in our show.

I am sure we all remember the lehnga issue in Neha's wedding.

Same happened with my real sister when she got engaged 15 days back.

Her inlaws sent a lehnga for her to wear on her engagement but like Neha she did not liked their choice and told us that she will purchase on her own of her choice. We all agreed as we wanted her to wear what she liked and would be comfortable in.

My mom asked if she can wear for a day but she denied so mom also agreed.

And to my shock my husband interfered and told my sister that I will not agree to it because I am fan of KRPKAB and will follow what happened on the show. He actually asked me to say same dialogues to my sister that Sona said to Neha. When I said I won't do that, he immediately said that you liked that conversation so much on the show and why don't want to implement now. He said you don't want your Sis to look like their own and I was likw why my husband is doing this. And all.my family members taunted me like anything that day and my answer was I am not Sonakshi Bose today, I am female Dev Dixit who will get a new lehnga for my sister😉 and we purchased it.

P.S - The difference was my Sister's MIL herself asked her to buy a new one if she don't like her choice and My Mom was not adamant like Ishwari to make her wear that only. Now her inlaws have asked us to purchase lehnga on our own for her wedding of her choice and they will pay for it.

See how much the scenarios shown in the show impacts us in reality. My husband and brother still taunts me for that and I am just doing what I am best at " IGNORING"😛

Wow..., I am finding your husband is more interested in the show. That's great.

And you being female Dev Dixit. .purchased a new one.

Yeah.. Our show shows the reality what is going around the world. .And it is upto the people how they would handle the scenario as your Sister MIL is so understanding and allow your sister to wear of her choice.

My husband do like it and pretends like he is not interested. He asks me everyday, what happened in your shows and listens with interest. I do tell him that see you also like bt he very sweetly says I just love what my wife loves..

He still not agree that he likes the show bt I will make him agree one day😉

Mujhe to beginning se hi lagta tha that our show deals with real issues that happen in daily life.

But now...by reading ur experience i'm sure.

One day me nd my friend were discussingabout this show...that this is not lyk other shows.

It shows what happens in reality.

Did I find the solution wrong?
If not why u didn't try to tell your sis?
Coz love matters more than a dress..

Actually before I could say anything, her MIL already asked her to go for her choice if she wants as one that they sent was a little out fashioned. I heard my sis telling my mom that if her MIL don't have issues then why would you.

This is how it went..and her MIL liked her dress a lot...

Its all abt ubderstanding. Her MIL knew every girl would want to look best on their special day and that much liberty should be given.

Because she purchased that dress 6mnths back for her would be DIL. So now my sister has herself told her MIL that she will definetely wear that lehnga post marriage in the very first celebration or any wedding. Its all abt understanding dear.

She is lucky to have such an understanding MIL. She even asked my Sis to select a saree which her MIL will wear on wedding day.

true its all about understanding... and btw i was not being prejudiced...😃
