Great post with toast of humour. I think like a crack has appeared but a few drama episodes will happen before Ishwari's insecurities will be open to Sona. She is behaving right now same as before breakup zone.

lovely post saumie... i was very upset with cv's that they are going in circles but boom they surprised me... all this drama was just to show sonakshi that mataji is not that nice as she looks... the cat is definitely out of bag and it is just matter of time it will be caught also... i hope sona catches these signs and get real conclusion out of it...

Ishwari said it loud and clear,

" Sab cheen lena chahti ho mujhse? Mera sukoon se kachori banana bhi le liya"

Even if after this, Sonakshi does not understand that Ishwari is insecure about Dev and doesn't want to share him, then Sonakshi deserves a standing ovation for mixing so well with the Dixits👏

Actually, the promo where it was shown Ishwari gives her blessings to both DevAkshi, but her hand only on Dev's head, Sona notices this... I thought this promo indicated Sonakshi has started to realize Ishwari's insecurities... hai na?? Then why she hasn't realized yet?😕

So glad to see Rhea and Nikki speaking up, atleast someone is there apart from mamaji in that house, who can speak up for Sonakshi.

Neha thinks she has been an Ideal daughter in-law. Infact, her statement cleared why she is not in cordial terms with Sonakshi.

Because inspite of wanting it, Neha could never assert her wishes on her in-laws, when she tried to. .for all the wrong reasons, she wasn't accepted in the family. She doesn't see hiw different her in-laws were, how simple and accepting and how the Dixits are in contrast, all Neha can see is how Sonakshi is slowly carving a niche for herself in the house, how she, inspite ofnbeing taken for granted, makes sure she is involved in every important decision. Because she has accepted the Dixits as family, which neha could never do with her in-laws.

Ishwari loses the first round by 0-1. On one hand, she was relieved that Dev was alright and on the other hand her belief, that she knows what is best for Dev, was shattered. She snaps at him and goes inside her shell as her insecurities are reinforced with full force.

Ishwari's main insecurity is that her special position in his life will be replaced by Sonakshi. She associates her postion to mainly two things - their past which they fought with together and the little daily routine which makes Dev dependent on her. Cooking his favorite dishes is one of those routines. He savours her dishes and gratifies it and Ishwari is good as long as she thinks There is no one as good as her when it comes to cooking.

Ishwari wants to be 'useful' for Dev, by knowing his habits, taking care of him, cooming for him so that Dev never goes away from her (that won't ever happen though)

Sonakshi is pleasantly involving in both the territories, erasing the wounds of his past which Ishwari will never want and also becoming a part of Dev's likes and dislikes, which separates Ishwari from him directly.

Now, this doctor scene just hammered this in Ishwari's mind that -

Yes, You are less useful for Dev now. You don't even know what is best for him. You better be 'replaced' with Sonakshi.

When Dev like a headless chicken(I seriously believed the fever bit was extremely overdone with him being so weak and him groaning with pain specially beca he was ready in his formals to go to office the very same day😲😆) enters her room and gratifies her mamta, mamaji also leaves no stone unturned to revive their past struggles. The result being Ishwari resuscitated. Now, she knows she is still of importance in his life and she holds a place no one can.

Agree, what kind of fever is that which is cured in one night... so that Dev can go back to work the next day? He was in a terrible condition with severe fever and was suffering a lot, but still the next day he was fit and fine!! If I am not mistaken, viral fever can't be cured in one night, it takes at least one week and there will be a lot of weakness even after the fever is down.

maybe, I really don't get emotional at all when you both say those heavy duty bhagwan dialogues. Ishwari and Dev's love is all very superficial and fake these days. In terms of dialogues.

I feel the same, I don't remember when was the last scene where I actually felt emotional for Ishwari-Dev bonding...😆
But today, I felt their emotional bonding. Their dialogues didn't bore me today. Dev knew his mom will be worrying for him and won't rest, and Ishwari was feeling guilty that her methods would've made Dev critical. She is thankful to Sonakshi, but due to her insecurities, she won't express it. Afterall she is a mother, she want her son to be alright.

It seemed as if Sonakshi pulled out the oxygen mask from Ishwari's ICU bed.😆

Nice post Saumie. Ishwari's insecurities are coming out in open and yes its high time sona should also realize it assertively now. Also, i feel somehow Dev also knows about it and that is the reason he straight away went to ishwari's room to assure her that she is still important for him. Pills overdose has shaken him to the core and he may not be vocal about it openly.

Lets see how story proceeds from here. And I feel there will be more incidents in future where dear kachori ji will feel that sona is taking her place in the house.

Ishwari has always been manipulative with her conversations esp. after Sonakshi came into Dev's life - or rather after he chose Sonakshi w/out taking permission from his mother. 😃 Her emotional blackmailing was evident when the overdose of pills almost cost her son his precious new relationship. Now, with Dev listening more to Sonakshi, the shower 'snan' incident proved that Sonakshi is better than Ishwari. 😆 She is now feeling threatened about her 'hold' on Dev.

While the birthday celebrations did manage to salvage her pride that she is loved more than Sonakshi (thou she skilfully hid it), the precap dialogue was quite unnerving. Why did she say that? 😕 😕 She was on her way to talofy the kachoris, so did Dev intervene and ask Sonakshi to do it, so his mother could get some rest? Did Sonakshi gleefully agree which made Ishwari fume, as she had already expressed her desire to Sonakshi about talofying the kachoris herself? Let the episode play out to reach any conclusion. But the dialogue is a promonition of the layered insecurities lying within Ishwari, which Mamaji has tried to dissuade several times before!!

Why do such small things like Kachori making make Ishwari feel so close to her son? Is their relationship so fragile that if Ishwari refuses to make kachoris or halwa, Dev would abandon her?? 😲 😲 Her possessiveness has played out before, but this feeling is worse. Why is she so hung up on doing everything for Dev? Is Dev an adopted child like SRK in KKKG? Is that the secret that 'XYZ' was trying to blackmail her with? (I don't remember that truckwala's name!!) 😊

Finally back ..was not able to post here .. yesterday was a good one, after all the fiasco! Missing the touch! I hoping the coming episodes are solid strong and back on track ...

Nowadays whenever ishuu or unke beta ki maaamta lee start ho jati hei I changed the channel.I can't bear their superfacial ma beta prem,struggle,flashback,baghoban lecture.inspite of getting emotional it irritates me the crore of time.After some hopeless episode in precap I can see some ray of hope.Now I just hope sona could understand ishu ki real insecurities
